On loan Chelsea defender Ola Aina has worked his way into a regular spot in the team of Serie A side Torino where he will spend the 2018/2019 season on loan, Owngoalnigeria.com reports. Aina was hurried into league action for Torino against Roma due to an injury picked up by one of their defenders and since then he has held his spot down in the team. He played for 68 minutes in the 2-2 draw against Inter-Milan before playing for 86 minutes against SPAL, a game they won 3-0. Following the injury that kept him out of international duty with Nigeria, he returned to the team of Torino and played for 15 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Udinese. The 21 year old was only fit enough for 77 minutes in the 1-3 loss against Napoli . Last night he played his first full game and posted an impressive performance in the stalemate against Atalanta. So far he has played in all of their games in the Serie A meaning he has equaled his total appearance with the first team of Chelsea since turning professional in 2016. The way he settled down to life in Italy despite making the jump from the English Championship is a 2 Likes |

enomakos: I won't say they ruined him sir, they developed another aspect of his game. Naturally he is CF...the fact he played has a winger before means he has that skill set to stretch opposition defense easily and still occupy the central defense when needed. It just makes it much harder for opposition teams to contain him. Classic example is Henry!! |

Abeg just hold your PVC for BVN purposes Elections will be rubbish next year and I predict massively low turn out due to voters apathy. Buhari will still win, but Nigeria will lose once again 1 Like |

safarigirl: My Dear please, if you have your PVC please go exercise your voting right. There is a limit to which rigging can take place now. It was obvious during the 2015 elections. It also played out again in the Ekiti and Osun elections (excluding today's own). An incumbent can be unseated if the people massively vote against him. The unfortune and pathertic thing now is the available options are not just it. It seems like a lose-lose situation for Nigerians. 1 Like |

Icon4s: you see the problem I have with saraki or any of the PDP aspirant is same problem with our normal day politicians....there is no honest politician in nigeria. but the one currently in power took it to another level...he is also not intelligent. Nigeria need an educated leader...someone who can speak globally and the citizens will not be in panick we need a leader who is abreast with contemporary governance.... ever since the current president was ousted from power in 1980s he never seek to even obtain a diploma degree at least to incrase his knowledge bank. even in business...he has managing same meagre cattles for years....and many see these as honesty. we really need elect a leader we can be proud of. now corruption has gone to include nepotism in nigeria....that it is even now practised with reckless abandon from the top and you are here trying to say all the aspirants are same....these one is worse oga I was not surprised because I still maintain only those who had no knowledge of Nigeria political history voted him the last time. we really need wake up even Obasanjo ruled far better 4 Likes |

Humility017: The two sound candidates there in my opinion are Moghalu and Duke. And they will not be voted for. The rest are useless and are not better than Buhari. Was Saraki not in Kwara? His football team players are still been owed salaries. Or is it Halliburton Atiku. Biko, we have few good options. |

Humility017: Oga, the problem is even the so called educated ones are not any better. See Right now from the major parties in Power i have no candidate for 2019 thus far. I am only looking at the coalition of those other smaller parties to see what they can come up with. NIGERIA NEEDS THE REAL CHANGE. It is very obviuos that our politicians are taking us no where. ONLY TRUE TECHNOCRATS CAN BRING CHANGE TO THIS COUNTRY. It is time to rescue Nigeria from the hands of those idiots we call our leaders. |

safarigirl:it will very very difficult for any of the candidates for the smaller parties to win reason because the political parties have no grass root structure. save for the PDP and APC none has such structure in place..... we just have to do all we can tp retire the old man come next year.... there is no honest politician anywhere in nigeria even the Duke and co Tlaba is mentioning what seperates them from many other thieves is ideas.... they have ideas and also knowledgeable. fashola was not an honest politician when he ruled Lagos but he was not short of ideas and was also exposed.... but the one currently ruling us fall short of this virtues...can't you guys see how well his VP manage situations whenver he is away. we need an educated and well exposed president.... 2 Likes |
