Have you applied for a schengen visa in the past and where you sent an invitation letter?

During interview, VO asked if I have relative in Germany and I said NO. She asked if I have friend and I said YES I have a friend in the city I am heading to (she only typed the city's name without asking the person's name and how we knew).
This is the truth, but I kept wondering if that might affect me as I may be misunderstood.
The interview is simple but this has been my major concern.

My enrollment deadline is 11 October. But I can't make it to germany till 13th October. However, I have been asked to do the enrollment online. One of the requirement for online enrollment is 'Health insurance certificate for a student health insurance or the exemption from compulsory insurance (for private health insurance)'. The travel insurance I gave the embassy is Axa maxard and I doubt that can be used for enrollment.

My Questions
Now, I have Fintiba Basic account which I have funded. And I am aware Fintiba offers health insurance. By upgrading to Fintiba plus(which has health insurance), would I be given the health insurance certificate needed for enrollment?

This upgrade of Fintiba to Plus and issuing of health insurance will take how many days?

Or how do I go about this?

Good morning. Generally private health insurance is not enough for enrollment in Germany. Don't worry about health insurance yet, just send a mail to AOK, Bamer or any other public health insurance asking them for a letter of exception since you are above 30years. You can get the letter from any public insurance company and not private. Only the letter is sufficient for your enrollment. Shalom

Nb : indicate your travel date and the number of months required by the Embassy in the comment box.

Are you sure? What is the name of the travel insurance? Have you or anybody close to you use it before? Sometimes ago, about 2 guys got into problem for using unrecognised insurance. I don't think this last stage should be what anyone should joke with after all the troubles. Shalom

Write a new date. But be sure you have done the right thing before you resend it, otherwise, you might still have to resend it again. What is the error from the previous one? Shalom

You don't have an issue bro, you should get it today or latest Monday.. I believe you date started counting from Monday, making today your fifth day. submitted mine by hand, so it started counting Monday last week making today the 12th Day

I think it all depend on your travel date. A friend submitted last week Friday and got a call from the Consulate on Wednesday to pick up his passport and documents.

I submitted mine last week, 20th Sept and got my visa delivered wed morning 26th Sept. I used DHL, you may have to contact your courier service.

They didn't replied the mail. They called him on phone that his visa is ready for collection.
