Kalu is going toe to toe with the great Sue Bird. Even smack talking, the commentator said I've never seen that before.

A good write up with valid points.

But my take is there should be no automatic shirt for any player, whether foreign born, Ex-U17 MVP or Golden boot winner or what ever. They are all Nigerians irrespective of where they were born. They play in Europe and so should be assessed on the same level playing field which is based on performance index. And then only those we think have something to offer to improve the team should be invited.

The Naija Bahd Girls forreal. These girls are making defense sexy. An American side that averages over 90 PPG could only muster 27 points at halftime. I personally feel we should be in the lead right now because we have been the more better side.

They are not in control of the game 4 points is nothing in basketball. If we come out with the same attitude we began the match with and the Americans continue being poor we will win this game.

Ok I get it. I agree with that , I didn't like how we ended the game. We couldn't create anything and we resorted to bombing 3s. I think we need to maintain the press because the transition is our surest way of getting baskets. It is clear that they are very disturbed by our physicality.

The final score will depend on what set of teams come out of the locker room. If both teams come out the same way they started then I am sure we will win but if we drop our level and USA finds theirs we could be in for a long day.

Yes too many missed buckets but that's basketball for you, sometimes you just can't buy a basket. The score didn't reflect what we really put into the game but we should be very proud of the girls.

We have been singing “potential” for several decades now, and even countries that were not seen as having potential have been able to create something out of nothing. We need to wake up to the reality that there is far more to having talents and resources. I don’t sing the praise of these performances for two reasons:

1. Nigeria did not put much into these girl’s careers.

2. We should have achieved the feat of winning a game at this stage long before now. We are Nigeria! And that’s suppose to be a positive thing going by our talents and potentials. However, when we say we are Nigeria, we know who we really are and that we lack a positive national identity.

So why didn't they just stay home? Thinking like you we would have not won a single game talk less of making it to the quarter finals.

I wasted some 4 hours of my life i will never get back watching those pretenders announcing the result of the Osun governorship supplementary elections, and concluded with the question, “Why do we hate progress”?

Apparently, the Uyo stadium wasn't considered for the Libya game at first cus the pitch was damaged after a political rally while the Kaduna stadium pitch was okay....

Isn't it unfortunate these sick dogs we call politicians hold rallies in stadiums?

Would it kill them to build a square in the capital or something? Kai!
