This is nonsense...... Because you are married at age 30, l guess, so that means you will make heaven? SmH I married at age 27(happy with my marriage), but i see no big deal in it, and i can never stand up to condemn someone that hasn't. All what we should look into is 'where are we going at the end? married or not married will not determine your place up there. leave the singles alone, when the right one comes, they will marry even @ age 40, you can marry and have a child if God says so leave dem abeg. 1 Like |

These are the kind of people suffering in marriage but are making the unmarried feel like they have lost it all... Ma, go and sit down you are pointless... Social media has made everyone turn into advisers even those that cannot fix their tents 1 Like |

I am young too earning very well ,doing well in life, even in a relationship, yeah am pretty good but still my aim in life can’t be that ,, want more more money, want to be known internationally like Genevieve, wanna be my own boss, start up a charity to send young girl on the street back to school, who knows , own my own female school even.... I can do this either single or married .. i support women and whatever decision they make as far they ain’t jobless, so yes I support her n will keep supporting her... |

vingeophysicist:because you're 26 and your main aim is to settle down doesn't mean a 35 year old guy has got that aim too and that 31 year old girl could fall into the hands of that 35 yr old guy who's got bad intentions for her. You see its a 2 way thing 1 Like |

Zieina:I would like to point out that this is the social construct in Nigeria mostly as we haven't fully evolved out of the cultural conformist chains that hold us back. I am a huge non-conformist and will never do anything to please someone when I derive no pleasure from it. I fully do not care about what the society says neither am I burdened by the goals they place for me and I will advise everyone to live the way that most suits him or her because at the end it is your life and if you do things because people do, you'll regret it. 1 Like |

[quote author=donstan18 post=71592641]Shot fired!! What a bitter truth! After bashing her, you all will still log out and face reality of what she said Look at them, a lot of them up there wishing and saying she isn't happy with her family, all because she said the truth, all because the truth is bitter. Even without being told, an evening newspaper lady should know that she has no right to celebrate birthday because she has been biologically expired, psychological traumatized, sexually useless, maritally screwed and aboki-cally suyalized. A single lady still celebrating birthdays, going to wedding parties and still doing boyfriend/boo at 30+, is a disgrace and a big shame. Sensible evening newspapers will do nothing to end their predicament but............ [/quote I will just assume that you are catching your fun but this is getting irritating, what about those ones that stayed with a man for many years with the promise of marriage and the man in question goes behind her to marry another girl with the excuse that the family wants him to marry the person? Pls stop saying this, it might sound like a joke to you but some people are really taking this serious and it might lead to suicide or depression. Know how you abuse single ladies above 30, not all of them are prostitutes and irresponsible. |

ANGELMARVE: Absolutely ridiculous opinion right here. There are many reasons why a girl could be unmarried at 35. Sometimes it's personal, other times it could be spiritual and not a fault of the girl in question. To assertively generalize that any girl who is unmarried at 35 is irresponsible is absolutely wrong and furthermore what's up with the Bday celebrations stuff? There are many unmarried girls who are more responsible than the married ones. So Birth days should only be significant based on Marital status? Smh..No wonder Africa is backwards and we wonder why... 1 Like |

themonk: I get your point and agree to the fact that living your life in a non-conformist way is the best. But if you're a woman who genuinely desires to have a home and children, these things will eventually get to you, especially when you know you deserve more. 3 Likes |

Deltatoto:I dont envy her at all..naaa!..naaa!..naaaa!..I rather be unmarried than marry a man that thinks in the archaic way you do..Cars..house..money.!!.is that your measurement for total happiness...sorry to burst your burbles oga..that is not my measurement for happinesss but they also important and needed to make life seamless and worthy of living.I dont know who you are but the way you reason diminishes all the money you have in your account before the eyes of the world except your blind followers. Sorry oga..I will never dream to be in your wife shoes for I know if her husband can be this disrespectful to women online then his wife would not have been as a queen by you... good bye.
