PassingShot:strike, revolutions , insurrections are the only language our useless government understands. We should be talking about a revolution not strikes sef.. when has our government ever negotiated with its citizens without brute force from the latter and achieved a consensus ?? |

Shugavee:It is not about strike it is about solving by your problems by using your brain thats the way the white man solves his problems, if you r a cassava farmer why complain about the price of garri? can you not invest into skills and equipment and become a garri producer? does it not make sense for every oil producing state to build their own refineries? why do you have state dept of revenue, dept of agriculture, dept of this and that yet no dept of oil industries just imagine the revenues, employment and educational benefits to these oil producing States if only they invested in themselves, you delusional southerners say Northerners r not intelligent, the fact is that they r the most intelligent people in Nigeria ask yourself if crude oil is discovered in the North what will happen? and there is crude in the Northeast it is only a matter of time 1 Like |

Fighting for higher wages for a largely unproductive and overbloated civil service. Federal, State and local government offices are the most unserious places you can ever go to especially state and local government. Federal are on another level; all they do is eat groundnuts and popcorn, gossip and close work by noon to sell materials and land. Before the FG reviews salary, institute a performance based system and sack workers who consistently fail. No sentiments!! 1 Like |

TopHand:please I don’t like tags comparing Different areas in Nigerians,, cause I don’t wanna respond in a way that will make it seem like I am insulting to devaluing a particular ethnic group!! North r very intelligent n should show it not just assumptions ok, they should agree dividing the country,,, oil is not even controlled by the people but the government which is controlled by the northerners ,, so why don’t they use their intelligence since they control the government! Or because it isn’t in the north? The strike is a good plan but would achieve nothing. Cause their demands ain’t reachable atm, our economy is shit atm n the government is shit too,, they should come together to remove buhari first. |

Labour, Labour Ayuba, you cant be different from the ones before you who will always compromise for gratifications. How much has the over 80+plus promised you to further humiliate Nigerian workers? Just know that if labour should use the suffering workers as collateral to walk to the bank, God will expose and disgrace you all publicly. I never trusted labour call out for strikes because they agree on their own take and agree for peanuts for workers, then call off strikes and we will say they tried and clap for them. Of course, Ayuba cannot be different not to support the government because he will be called a big fool for going against the northern/Muslim agenda. Oshiomhole will support Ayuba to ditch the workers and support his masters agenda. Ayuba? 1 Like |

PassingShot: No bro. Everyone's salary is calculated based on basic monthly salary. Basic monthly salary is a percentage of the minimum wage. Take-home (the final monthly salary) is MONTHLY BASIC SALARY plus all the allowances due to you. Eg. Wardrobe allowance, transport allowance, peculiarity etc. Each of These allowances are calculated based on a percentage of the Basic monthly salary. 1 Like |

Humblega:ur analysis na banza! The govt shd also reduce the amount they collect from the states as revenue been generated. Just as they said, the nNigeria govt misappropriates funds carelessly. The useless trips going abroad alone can pay most of the states. Tge medical allowances these senators get cud add up, the overhead pay for govt agencies like office of chief of staff shd be slashed and given to the depts to save more |

PassingShot:You sound smart while talking ignorantly. It doesn't still change the fact that you are ignorant on this particular issue. The Nigerian govt is never proactive, they always have to be pushed to do anything, if left alone will only address the issues pertaining to the elites alone. If the govt has a proper economic policies that is favorable and drops the inflation rate that has refused to abide by the law of gravity, then you might be right to say increasing minimum wage might not be necessary, but govt haven't and you are wrong. You also thought the minimum wage is 35,000 when it's still 18,000, and like you said 50,000 is the ideal for now, but to your ignorance, the NLC actually wants to get it to 45,000 from "18,000" it currently is. Please think collectively before making public utterances, or at least, know what you are saying before you speak in public... |
