No. Popular candidates are defeating incumbents in a free, fair and credible direct primary election. PDP should adopt the same method for the purpose of deepening our democracy.

A smart person would see the wisdom of your last sentence.

I was in Bauchi when this guy came in and he is unanimously reviled as useless.

This way, politicians would really sit up. Many opportunities to lose:

You can lose at primaries, lose at the polls.

You can't just afford to be complacent.

Even PDP would eventually adopt this down the line

Op,this is false.there was no primaries in bauchi yesterday while the governor tried to impose himsels.pate and lame protested and the primaries have been rescheduled

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled the Alh. Ishola Balogun-Fulani led Kwara State executive from the party.
The NWC, in a statement issued yesterday by its acting National Publicity Secretary, Mr Yekini Nabena, also rescheduled governorship primaries in Ogun, Zamfara. Bauchi and Abia States to Monday (today).from daily trust
