The last time I check my records as a Nigerian I was never address as a shithole citizen nor my family members. So will running out from Nigeria solve our challenges our great country is facing?. Currently I'm already solving unemployment issues by creating & empowering youths within my territory & you can do more better than me Sir. Nigeria will be great again Thank you Sir Grace001: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Threads like this are very dangerous. Because you devalue Nigerian salary more for foreign investors and others who use the internet to guage what is acceptable and what is current practice.I have seen situations were foreign firms who have agreed at partnership with 450k for fresh graduates renegade based on analysis from stupid internet here say such as this. It is unpatriotic to share half truths and you worsen the problem. I will attempt to address this here by saying: 1)Only a inexperienced graduates in a professional job setting/firm earns less than 200k. 2)it is the equivalent of an internship abroad as most Nigerians start work post NYSC with no experience. As in cannot type ordinary minutes of a meeting 3) Salaries start to increase with positions for those who take their careers seriously give or take 2-5 years 4)there are MANY jobs in Nigeria been filled with expatriates because Nigerians for some strange reason I am still trying to figure out do not apply for them. Others just settle without professional improvement or attempts to reach for a higher position or another job so you see the same fellow at the same position, salary and organization for 10 years complaining about poor salary and unkind boss. 5) there are no jobs in Nigeria (myth) 6)There are few high paying jobs in Nigeria (myth) In summary Nigerian youths are professionally lazy.If you count hawking gala on the streets hard working ,or fake ass entrepreneurial ventures do not complain of a low income. Building a carrear on the other hand takes time ,sacrifice, dedication and God's grace.it may require holding a 40k job for 2 years while building experience to strike out when the time is right. Those who sweat investing in themselves and spend time doing so reap great returns even in Nigeria, small minds sit back and grumble watching those with focus build their way through 14 Likes 4 Shares |

"Better to love Nigeria from outside" She is spot on. I have friends who left the shores some 12 years ago, they are done building their private homes in the their villa and are now buying up properties in the city. It is no easy down there but if you are focused and hardworking, you will surely have a decent live. In Nigeria, it like pouring water to basket, waste of effort and time. Every indices stands against you whether as an entrepreneur or employee. No electricity, business killing bank loan interest rate, multiple taxation, bad road, disillusioned work force, unstable government policies etc As an employee, harsh work environment, low take home, low motivation, Shylock employment terms, porous labour laws etc. We were thought that Saving = Investment. How can you invest when all earning are spend on providing those items government should provide; quality school for the kids, electricity, private security, good home. etc The economic would not grow without a vibrant middle class. 6 Likes 1 Share |

All graduates can not earn the same monthly. It depends on the industry or company where you work or the kind of business you do. Because of the ever increasing population of graduates churned out yearly, the chances of getting a job reduces yearly as well. Not all graduates will get employed let alone earning more than N200k monthly. If you can't get a job, start a small business and with time it will grow and you will no longer be interested in looking for a job. But whatever you do, whether you are working or doing business, remember the PARETO THEORY. 6 Likes |

Is it the same degree certificate from Nigeria you want to go and use overseas? It’s obvious why we are here. Who says good grades will give you good jobs? Neither B. Gates, A. Ortega nor Jeff Bezzos boasts an MBA Degree, but they have MBA Stardust of Mindset, Behaviour, Attitude. You all have the wrong mindset already. Who told you Nigeria owes you a job? Jet out and be nuisance on the street of another man’s country. How many of those people jet out? Do you solve your problem by running from them? And yes many of you are unemployable. I wasn’t an exception. It took self reflection, identifying with the truth, self development, deep research to land a juicy job. 4 Likes 1 Share |

otherway: Even more. During holiday when I Studied, I freelanced for ubereats (food delivery service) with my bicycle and earn about 800 euros weekly. In one month, I easily cross 3000 euros (over 1.2M). And it's a low skill job that people look down upon. You can put ubereats on YouTube and there are riders who earn more. Imagine earning that as a student. Truly, Nigeria failed it's youth. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

How do we begin since some of us here take it for fun? We the youths need to pause and ponder and then apply our YOUTHFUL intelligence to think and make clever decisions even if we don't fully manifest in time for this election, before next election we are already a force. The reason why we are still like this is because we fail ourselves by shying away from things we need to do. Let's THINK, THINK,THINK and STRATEGIZE on how to move forward. Look at how creative, innovative and clever most of us are but still specialize in 1. Bring him down syndrome 2. Tribalism 3. If not me or us, no one else 4. APC or PDP 5. Lack of result oriented movements/plans 6. Caricatures, uninterested in national discourse etc.(No disrespect) For instance, NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN BILL has recently been signed. That means we must be a force by next election. Our time is near. 1 Like |
