Olisa stop spitting dirty smelly saliva everywhere. Nnewi economy is bigger than Enugu economy. You can cry from now till next year but fact is fact. There's nothing in Enugu except poorly paid civil servants and collapsed economy. Presidential hotel is dead. Nike lake hotel is dead. Polo mall is packing up. Glo just left the mall recently including other businesses. You guys should stop coming here with propaganda. Look at this data. Show us where Enugu state stand [s] Obi1kenobi:[/s]

Obdk: Really? Is the small change from Ogbete the reason they generate more IGR than Anambra every single year? I'd much rather live in Enugu metro than Nnewi everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. As do many Anambrarians who live in Enugu. I don't know what they mix in the water in Anambra there that makes many of you such pompous, chestbeating loudmouths. 3 Likes |

bestview: Oh....so, you agree with the data that states like Osun and Kwara are better than Anambra. Apart from the fact that the data there is more a HDI index than economic indices, you're comparing Anambra to Enugu state. Not Nnewi to Enugu which was your initial claim. Anambra as a state might be a bigger economy than Enugu - I wouldn't argue that. Enugu as a state is certainly far bigger than Nnewi is anything and Enugu metro is far more developed than Nnewi. Even Awka that is less developed than Enugu metro has overtaken Nnewi long ago. 2 Likes |

Obi1kenobi: When you finish that one then study the debt profiles of states. The state is the most indebted state in the SE. Now tell us what the state did with all the monies. Did they build signature projects like flyover interchange or industrial complexes or IPP power project? Point to one thing they achieved with it, meanwhile they are still posting fake IGR figures and their budget is still lower than that of Anambra. So how do you figure in the bogus fake IGR figures? Rubbish.

Another trash from Olisah. Now what is the 2018 budget of Enugu and Anambra? How do you claim to have high IGR whereas your budget is pocket money? Nnewi has a bigger and viable economy than enugu. [s] Obi1kenobi:[/s] |
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by bestview: 6:03pm On Oct 01, 2018 |
Olisah you are not making sense. I don't care about Osun and Kwara. The report exposed what we all knew. Learn to make sense. [s] Obi1kenobi:[/s] |

bestview: So, you only care about insulting South East states, but you don't care about others. What sense are you talking about? You're showing indices comparing Anambra and Enugu when your claim was that Nnewi is a bigger economy than Enugu. It's like me saying that Epe or Badagry in Lagos are bigger economies than Anambra state and when you ask me for proof, I start comparing Anambra to Lagos. How does that follow? 2 Likes |

bestview: Anambra has a far lower budget than a state like Cross River. Anambra and Enugu has some of the lowest budgets in the country last fiscal year. Budgets are often meaningless. Many states make budgets they can't fund or implement. I like how you also missed out on this page that shows Enugu's greater monthly revenue and their lower recurrent expenditure than Anambra giving them a bigger surplus. That is financial prudence. 4 Likes

Leave Cross River with their bogus budget with no source of funding it. . Tell us the budgets of Anambra and Enugu states. If you claim high IGR shouldn't it reflect on your budget? Obi1kenobi: |
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by bestview: 6:41pm On Oct 01, 2018 |
Obi1kenobi: Now look at this. How can you claim to have higher IGR whereas it doesn't reflect on your budget? It is very clear that Enugu state govt has been dishing out fake figures just to be seen as a performing govt. Again remember that Enugu state has the biggest debt profile in the SE, so where's the so called high IGR? Propaganda should have a limit.

Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Obi1kenobi(m): 6:59pm On Oct 01, 2018 |
bestview: I just showed you hard statistics proving Enugu generates bigger annual revenue. Again, budgets are a very inaccurate way of measuring economic capacity. If a state like Enugu runs a surplus budget while Anambra runs a big deficit budget, then it's possible for Anambra to have a bigger budget. The most important statistics is GDP (and there is no reliable state-by-state GDP stat in Nigeria). But Government revenue also has correlative importance. See it again, and note the monthly revenue (from Federal allocation and state IGR): 1 Like

Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by bestview: 7:03pm On Oct 01, 2018 |
I am not arguing the fake IGR figures. My argument is how does it reflect on the IGR? Doesn't it supposed to reflect on the IGR and reduce the extent to which the state source for loans? How can you generate so much but your annual budget is a pocket money. Budget is a function of IGR. Some states post fake figures in IGR. Obi1kenobi:

Olisah, I think you are dumb. Which jealousy? I asked a simple question isn't IGR supposed to reflect on the state budget? If it can't reflect on the budget it means that the IGR figures are fake. Simple Obi1kenobi: |
