danberg: Could you try this as it offers better rates than WorldRemit and the rest. I’ve been using it for the past 1 year and even have an ATM card from them. Secondly, your first £500 transfer is free (no charges). You will thank me later. https://transferwise.com/i/seunm1 |

davide470:That means you will be in the UK by then? Also going to UKVI offices is by appointment only, unless you work there. |

Please i need advice. I'm so confused, I dont know if this is the right thread to post this. Im applying for a tier 2 visa as i already have an employer in the uk. However, i want my mum to come along so she can help out with my son for the first 2months. She has never travelled before. If she applies for a visit visa, i dont know how to meet up with the requirements since i dont live in the united kingdom at the moment. Please how do i go about this? 1 Like |

Tbabeey: Do you have anyone in the UK presently, that can support her application? Does she stand well well, to file an application herself? |

EsotericMonk: Please help!. My Flight was booked by my sponsor but I will be traveling with baby less than 2, how or where do I include him on my booking (air france ) Also what's the estimate of his air fare? Mine is Economy Thanks |
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Lexusgs430: 9:56pm On Oct 11, 2018 |
kaad: Are you saying your ticket is already booked ? If tickets has already been booked, you would have to speak directly to the airline, to add baby (might be possible). Child ticket is usually about 10%....... |

@Lexus430,and other experienced guys, please I would appreciate your input here. We were hit by someone couple of months back and the lady that hit us accepted liability, thanks to CCTV.We got her details then forwarded them to our insurance guys(Admiral). The car was towed to garage for fixing then Admiral linked us to Auxillis which is a Car Hire Company as we were entitled to courtesy car. We signed the agreement which included releasing our debit card details with them while waiting for the car to be fixed. After 3 days,we got a call from Admiral that the car was a write off hence,we would be reinstated and that once we get the cheque,we would have 1 week to return the courtesy car.We went ahead and bought another car even before they sent a cheque. When we got the car,we called them asking for time and venue to drop the car but Auxillis kept on saying they would get back to us for the date and time. After delaying for 5 days, little did we know that it was a delay tactic to make more money, they eventually came and picked the car. We got the shock of our lives when Auxillis sent a mail to us saying that the insurance company of the woman that hit us refused to pay for car rental which was £2,500 for 3 weeks which was obviously inflated by Auxillis hence, they appointed Principia Law firm on our behalf to recover the money. Their argument is that we should have mitigated loss by paying for car rental upfront with cash as it is cheaper as opposed to agreeing for credit.Meanwhile, this option wasn't mentioned to us and the insurance company of the woman that hit us didn't offer to give courtesy car as they were the ones to bear the cost. It's really frustrating knowing that we even got a new car even before we got cheque from them yet they still came up with this fraud. They sent a letter asking us to submit our debit and credit bank account details 3 months before and after the accident occurred.Their arguement is for them to ascertain whether we could have afforded to get a car by paying cash instead of agreeing to hire a car by credit and obviously, the account balance is very healthy. What's your advise please? |

Hi veleta, this is sad, it is an attempt to rip off the customer and apparently this is quite common in the UK. Your story is similar to one I read on the Guardian a few weeks ago https://www.theguardian.com/money/2018/sep/14/why-am-i-now-liable-for-my-no-fault-accident-claim Please read the comments, you might find useful advice there from other people's experiences. veleta: 1 Like 1 Share |

Come and see what these two lovers are doing inside bus this early morning. Acting blue film at the back of a double decker bus. They don't even care that I'm there. Never seen anything like this in my life, even the ones I see in the parks at night don't go this far. Is there no law against this in this country? What happens if a kid on the way to school suddenly walks in. Na wah oh. The girl no even fine sef. |
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Lexusgs430: 8:46am On Oct 12, 2018 |
sutelk: Exposure contrary to section 66 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003. This requires a person to intentionally expose their genitals and intend that someone will see them and be caused alarm or distress. You see, such law exists..... But you would have to call the police and possibly catch them in the act, picture or video evidence required ........... |

sutelk: You could have politely asked, ' do you mind me joining in'? How dare they pollute your eyes and not invite you? Enjoying your 3some experience....... You no need her face, just cover her face with a black bag ....... |

Yinkzy03:Trust me, this was not ordinary kissing oh, the kissing heavy. I use style look back and I see booby popping out already. The kind of sounds I was hearing I'm sure somebody was been fingered. I told guys in the office and they confirmed there's a law prohibiting such acts but I have to call the police. Maybe they were that bold because they knew nobody bothers calling the cops. 3 Likes |
