My people I understand that tomorrow is a likely date for a draw. If I enter the pool today in the night, Is there a probability that I will receive ITA or should I take my time with the form and wait for the next draw?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by Nobody: 10:43am On Oct 02, 2018
It depends on your CRS. If tomorrow’s cutoff is 440 and your CRS is above 440, you’ll get your ITA.
What’s your CRS?

I've been thinking about this for a while now and I just need clarification from the house. Please is it possible to add a common-law partner to your application after eAPR or after PPR?

Thank once again.
I saw the terms and conditions only. i clicked on it but nothing like identity validation
dumprep:
The link is https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html

Click the “Continue to GCKey” button. It should direct you to the Sign In page. Click “Continue” and you’d see the Terms and Conditions and then Identity Validation (secret question). What do you see after you type in your secret answer and click Continue?

GTB gave me a generic bank statement, still trying to get them to give me a letter in cic format. My time is running out.
You can use it like that. That was what I did. The lady even advised me not to waste more money getting the letter of non-indebtedness cuz I had told her (generic+letter of non-indebtedness+signatories).

If you insist on getting the letter in CIC format, you'd have to go through your account officer. You can find your account officer's details when you log in to internet banking

As long as you can prove that you are both common-law partners, i think you can.

Hello house. Please I need your advice on POF.
I tendered 2 different Treasury bills certificate as POF, now both investment has matured and the liquid funds is now sitting in my bank account.
Should I re-invest? Do I raise a web form to inform IRCC that I have re-invested? or should I just allow the funds to remain in my account?

OK.

what's your AOR? How do I know my VO?

1. Call the IRCC call center on +1 613-944-4000 and follow the voice prompt (to get to speak to an agent, you'll press 1,1,1,2,2,2,2,0) (make sure your airtime is robust grin )
2. Raise a CSE asking for your Visa Office, you'll get an email reply within 20 days.
3. Order GCMS notes. You'll get it in about a month or so.

Okay. Thanks.

Do you have any idea what they would need as "proof"? I've tried reading up on their site but it doesn't say anything about that. I just want to know if they'd want stuff like joint bill payments and all that to show that we've lived together.

Plus I hope it won't count as misrepresentation that I am now including him after I've submitted my application? We just didn't have plans of moving together before cause he has some stuff to finish up here but I am now considering the idea.

Why do you want to make things difficult for yourself? Why not go to registry and then use the marriage certificate as proof? Abi you guys don't love each other? You know that common-law partner isn't that common in Nigeria and there might be more questions than answers if you want to follow that route but having said that, if you have enough proof, please go for it

Yeah. On CIC website it says we need to have lived together for 12 consecutive months.

I think I'd just leave the application as is and either sponsor him later or he'd start his own express entry application, just to avoid stories that touch.

I was just considering the lengthy processing time for sponsorship but I think it's better than having everything go down the drain because of any form of misrepresentation.

This will prove tricky in Nigeria considering that common-law partnership aint recognized in this part of the world. The question now is how u wana prove that? grin grin

As one of the documents to submit for credential evaluation with PEBC (or WES) or while filling the EE form, what type of Birth certificate is required? Is it the one from the hospital of birth or national population commission? Is declaration of age accepted?

But we sabi lie for this country sha and pour all on a 'fictitious' agent....We keep forgetting that once you tell a lie, you have to keep telling a lie to cover up.

The truth gives peace of mind and sets us free, we should stick to that always....either for visa application or not. #JustSayiN

I feel we should cultivate the habit of giving people benefit of doubt. you need to be in their shoes to know how they feel. If its a lie, its left for that person and God. cheers.

Hi guys. I can imagine what you guys must be going through. To say the least, it's exhausting and quite painful to know that your applications are still pending. But guess what? Delay is not denial and it will definitely happen soonest. I advise you order your GCMS notes as soon as you can so you have an idea of the status of your applications.

As someone rightly said, ordering your GCMS notes might prompt them into prioritizing and processing your file. There are cases where applicants reach out to IRCC and they got their PPRs fast. If you can, contact them via phone or email, it wouldn't hurt to try.

And who knows? Anything can happen and we will celebrate with you guys anytime from now.

Cheers!

ordering gcms notes doesnt do jack. Ordered 4 already and counting......

No need writing letter of explanation blaming the agent. In fact, why even write a letter of explanation for a previous visa refusal? Simply say you've been denied a visa before then in the notes write what country and what date.

@classified010, I second this. Declare the refusal(s), date and year. Relax your mind and let God take charge.

Thats the current trend... IP2 at first, then after BIO and MEP, it moves back to IP1...
No one knows for sure how it works in this new trend but fingers crossed. At least your application is moving forward
