Sucreklint:hello. All professionals migrate via the express entry federal skilled workers pathway. @smslive or @@joo2018 would probably insert the link to that thread here if they haven't already done that. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Oh no i am in Edmonton. But I am sure you can get anything you want on rentfaster.ca or rentboard.ca or even kijiji Download dingtone to get a Canadian line so you can contact the landlords when you find one. They tend not to pick up foreign numbers from my experience. Expectantbee: 6 Likes 4 Shares |

Didn't know this kind of thread exists and I'm happy I saw it at the right time. I just concluded my first degree last month and personally I feel like leaving the country already man no wn do service sef.. I no need am Jokes apart, I told my bro about leaving the country, he wasn't against it and advised I go to Canada (i was thinking of Sweden or Normay thk ). He said it's even better I use the link of going for masters in Canada to leave the country and personally, I'm not a fan of masters.. I'm not even planning to further any education but he was adamant that is a better option. He said things will be a little bit easier for me considering I will be studying there. Said the family will just look for money for rent, food and part payment of my school fees and he's projecting like 5m will solve it So house, I don't have any idea about Canada and I'm very sure God willing, I will leave Nigeria after my service. I just need someone to tell me things I need to know about Canada, is the Masters link very sure? What's the goodies that come with masters students? Like how much should I budgeting? Thanks 1 Like |

vosquare: If you go via masters, you would qualify for a postgraduate work permit, it permits you to work and live in canada for about 2 to 3yrs after your masters. While on your postgraduate work permit, you can apply for a permanent resident visa that would allow you live in canada indefinitely and become a canadian citizen. For masters, i think your tuition would be about $14k, while living expenses would be about $10k per annum. You would granted work permit as a student that wpulf allow you work part time to assist with your living expenses. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Guitarlife: During my information session with IOM, someone said they were able to open an account with Scotia bank from Nigeria. They were also able to make transfers into the account though I think there's a restriction on making withdrawals till you land. You could do a google search to confirm this though. |
