U may be Living in the US, may be somewhere in the state of UTAH, WISCONSIN or Colorado but it’s obvious you don’t know NEW YORK.
Let’s make arrangements.....
I will invite and HOST u for a week.
U will see things for yourself.
CALIFORNIA comes second especially San Francisco in LA, and that’s why their minimum wage is higher.
NURSES are better paid in CALIFORNIA and New York
LA is the home of entertainment and madness.
CALIFORNIA is like Cross River state/ Enugu State, remains an expensive town to live in.
NEW YORK is like Lagos, a state for the good, the bad and the ugly. Business Moving like WIND

But guess what , the cost of living is higher.

Who said you are limited to menia jobs here in Canada as an Immigrant is lieing to you. I came here only 6 months ago with my family and after doing some little training, I am now working in the health sector and you can make up to $4k or far more than that in a month if you truly want to. Beside, you will have best free education for ur kids, all kinds of free compulsory Medicare in all ramificationsl. My brother all the good things people talk about Canada is really true.

Working in the healthcare sector doing what?

There is more racism in Nigeria than in any of these places you mentioned.

I was in a taxi in PH some time ago when a passenger was ranting at how Igbos have spoiled the Garden City, and stated that she would have no problems deporting every Igbo person from the state if she was a governor. I have heard such several times in Bayelsa, Oyo, and in many states I have been to in Nigeria. I have even been in Enugu and overheard in an office a discussion between two men of how they (the Enugu people) were being oppressed by an Abia man (who was head of that agency) and how they would fight him to the end until he packs his bags back to the Abia village he came from. This is Igbo to Igbo hatred. What can beat that?

I don't even want to mention the fact that Hausa is the official language spoken in a federal parastatal such as NEMA. As if we have nothing like federal character in this country (indeed, have we ever had it?).

So all this talk about racism abroad is not strange to us. It is here in Nigeria among us. So anyone who can survive the ethnic-based racism we have here in Nigeria can survive it abroad.

yea

you got that right undecided

Lol your naive and ignorant. Go look up the definition of racism. What going in Nigerian is totally different from what going on in the Us or Canada. I don't have to talk too much , just google it yourself.

he has a point..

Racism has two distinct thing's

institutions and ability

White folks used to oppress blacks SO SO much because they could

They lynched them because they could

Civil rights came and limited the scope of oppression to the black man, and of course racism still exists today, limited to the scope of what they can do.

Nigerians on the other hand also practise racism in their own way, within the scope of power that they have

Like denying you a job bevause of your ethnic group

Like denying a certain part of the country they'd entitlements because you don't like them

Like killings in the NE because of religious differences

Like being extremely wicked to you because of your ethnic group

Heck!
Nigerians even killed the ethnic group in their numbers when they saw the opportunity to in the run up to the pogrom and civil war
The list is endless

The racism in Nigeria and America is the SAME

What limits it is the scope of power available to oppress or deal ruthlessly with those you hate

For many Nigerians; if they had the ability to lynch, loot, deny employment to, or just deal ruthlessly with those from that side of the country that they hate, they will do it.

so my sister, it's the SAME THING

but most of you don't get it grin

You clearly live in Nigeria and have no idea what you are talking about . No one in their mind would recommend anyone to come here illegally . I’m sure they are many illegal immigrants would find money give to someone to make them legal immigrants , if it just involves some bribery. It’s not that easy . Abeg stay home and face Buhari and leave these matters to people who actually live here and know there system.

Funny u. Twisting things. Where did I recommend illegally? I said he should not listen to u about going on only what's on the website. I said he should not be discouraged from even trying based on what's written

Below is statistics of immigrants visa from each catergory from each country, from last year.

https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/AnnualReports/FY2017AnnualReport/FY17AnnualReport-TableIII.pdf

As you would see, only 201 Nigerians got immigrant visa though employment compared to the 3831 from immediate relatives and 2235 from family preference. Mind you the number did not break down the employment catergory but regardless it still supports my claim that is not that easy.

Like I said earlier, no way is easy and I gave you that link to show that people are migrating through that route eb3 from Nigeria contrary to your initial stances.

Again, if you look at the percentage of approval of each category of those that got the immigrants visa, am pretty sure employment based would higher even with that 201. Because how many nigerians even aware that you can get eb3 visa directly from here talkless of actually applying. That is employment visa category for nigeriand is always current in visa bulletin.

So, nurses(also I.T) is still in shortage skills in US where foreigners are being sought after, and Nigerians are no exception.

Again, look up the definitions, of racism and tribalism , and how it works. Research is your best friend. But you guys should leave that topic alone and face the topic thread.
Why do you presume I did not know the definitions of racism and tribalism. Mind you, I didn't say they are the exact same thing.

Yes it very much applies in real life , most of the travel threads on this Naira land about the us and Canada are talking about what’s on those immigration website , the student visa, green card and federal skilled workers programs all come from that website . How are you going to be denouncing what’s on their offficial immigration site . By logic anyone can come inn to the country then ?

Am not disputing the report from the link you share. I just want you to accept the fact people get employment based visa from Nigeria especially nurses.

Again, do you take time to peruse the number of approval from other countries from that report for employment based? Nigeria is FIRST in Africa and about 18% of total approval for Africa countries compare to 13% and 17% for immediate relative and family preference respectively.

Wrong. Most of the discussions are about people's direct experiences and interactions regarding immigration. The rules are there for all to see and I'm clearly not denouncing the rules at all. I'm only saying don't let the minutae of the rules duscourage u from even trying. TRY!

I hope you know that in calculating averages, one very high number or low number can distort the average.

A makes N100k
B makes N60k
C makes N20K
D makes N10k
E makes N700k

Based on the data shown, the average income of this group is N178k. But then, look at the data again. Only one person makes the cut. That is 20%. Isn't application of statistics funny?

/

The people who put up those statistics are not fool. What u see is actually the mean or median income not the average. They discount the extremes.

While an agent might seem an easier way to go about it but most of them hype the opportunities in order to get you to buy whatever they are selling. My advice, whatever you do, let the agent play more of an advisory role but do the processing yourself.
