Debates and initiatives over school lunches in the United States have remained in the public dialogue over the years, and for a good reason.

The National School Lunch Program (NPL), which provides free lunches, serves an upwards of 31 million students at 92 percent of U.S. public and private schools.

Sweetgreen,a chain of salad restaurants, that runs the Sweetgreen in Schools program meant to educate kids about healthy eating, fitness, and sustainability, created a photo series to show what kids in some countries around the world eat for lunch and compared to the U.S.

Let me tell you. I once did a dissertation for a Masters course, along the line an official wanted me to grease his hand. I reported him to the HOD.

Guess what HOD said...Give him his due, he is a family man.

Noe with this kinda mentality , which trickles down from the very top of leadership in the country, how can someone like me make a difference ? If for 58yrs we are still wallowing in abject backwardness...is it Me that can change it.

Nigerian's retrogressive condition now is immutable, infact it is now an expected norm, a genotype

look.....na you dey always born them and raise them up....if you raise them to be idioots, idioots they shall be....

because you are messed up thats why your children are messed up too....for example, dino, fayose, ffk and many others....na you rased them up....who you wan blame than your own self....??

Yes, I know that. Even I have a Danish friend dating a Nigerian, she knows how took Nigerian foods (mostly Igbo delicacies) but the food are very expensive outside Africa.

Have you wondered why there are many African restaurants in UK, operated by Nigerians and Ghanaians? Because there are large number of the nationals of these countries in UK who crave for our local dishes.

Neocolonialism that is the problem with most Africans. Anything done by white, whether good or bad is always better than black man's own in their eyes.

This trend doesn't make sense to my sha! Explorer seem to be running out of stories lately! So you want Nigerian to eat what? Those food ain't ours? Why don't u ask the Finnish kids or the Americans also eat breadinner and beans? Been staying outside Nigeria for close to five years now and I can tell u that I still don't even eat those food you put the pictures in display! Abeg say something positive about Nigeria! Don't always look for faults! Check out areas where the country is also leading and let us know! Stop self condemnations

Don't you feel you're dumb undecided ewedu can be eating with swallow(EBA,amala, semo, pounded yam, fufu etc). Even in Berlin a lot of Africans still eat African foods at different African restaurants.

Fried rice and chicken are ok plus salad, but quantity is an issue. Others might just be ok with a scoop of rice, garnished with colorful vegetables and a piece or two of protein like chicken or fish. But here,if we are not given a full plate,we haven't eaten.
Why you get sense like this? Sense will not kee you! grin
