obailala: I'm sorry but FFK has said nothing which makes sense here; it's a pity we still have normal people out there who still fall for FFK's diabolic divisive politics.
Hundreds of Christians were killed in those same locations under OBJ, Yaradua, GEJ and now under Buhari. FFK making this a Buhari things and insulting Kumuyi for shaking hands with Buhari is just another one of FFK's deranged rants which hes known for which makes most serious politicians distance themselves from him.
If FFK (or any of those who think what he says here makes any sense) shares the exact same sentiments of disappointment against every single Christian leader who shook the hands of OBJ, Yaradua and GEJ also, then it might be agreed that his rants aren't just another case of divisive politics. Bit we know that isn't the case.
What he said can't make sense to moral goats until Fulani herdsmen cuts off your hand or head or that of your family member/siblings.
UnchangeableGod: How do you know Sir that the revered clergy did not tell the president the reality on ground when they met? Did you hear all that they discussed?
Had a member of Kumuyis family been a victim of FH or he himself had a leg or arm cut by them, I guess he would be telling Buhari whatever with all his 32 shinning to the sun but as long as it has so far only affected his Church members, Kumuiyi can smile away while the very Church members being killed like goats can hail and justify him. That's the beauty of low IQ Nigerians.
am not sure there is anything wrong with Pastor Kumuyi visiting the president. We don't have an idea what conversation ensued between both. This photo is just a moment captured.
Pastor Kumuyi has always been very reserved. He's rarely outspoken on national issues and doesn't dabble in politics but if you know him, you'll know that he's a man deeply moved and affected by the happenings in this country.
I know this is a generation very quick at smearing dust on men of honor but I think we need to put a check and not drive it always. I'm sure he didn't go there to tell Buhari he's the best thing that has happened to Nigeria. He doesn't have to frown and punch the president on camera to feed our sentiments. Let's judge righteous judgement.
What if Buhari decides to visit your church on a Sunday, you'd stone him out and yell at him? He's still president, remember. I have never been in support of the events under this government and never will but calling out Pastor Kumuyi for appearing in Aso Rock is uncalled for.
Naijaguy12345: Leave kumuyi alone. How about you go claim your children from Ojukwu's family. Everybody know you slept with Bianca and the kids are yours.
kapelvej: He is human, I remember those days, when his members do not watch television. Even him himself started wearing suit of late. He used to wear one dansaki. What I fear in these men of God is that they can criminate fornication, but have nothing to say about bad governance, they can tell the world how pre marital sex is wrong (rightly so) but can not look straight at politicians and tell them the truth

kumuyi has always been on suit, he never wore dansaki or whatever you call it. The fact that you just conveniently said rubbish sef is annoying

simple logic, when two pals emerges from a confidential parley with overwhelming smiles & funfair, THEY'VE NOT TOLD THEMSELVES THE BITTER REALITY or the subject of discussion revolves round trivialities.

Correctgist: On the 1st of October, the senior pastor of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi and his wife, Esther, paid President Buhari a visit at the state house Abuja.
In a post he shared on his Facebook page this afternoon, former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, expressed his displeasure at the clergyman's visit to President Buhari. FFK says he is ashamed and outraged by the visit.

My paternal great grandfather (my grandfather's father), Rev. Emmanuel Adelabi Kayode, was an Anglican priest. He was educated by the Christian missionaries and the Anglican Church and he studied theology at Fourah Bay College in Freetown, Sierra Leonne which was at that time a satellite campus of the United Kingdom's Universty of Durham.
In 1892 he graduated with honors with a Master of Arts degree in theology. He was the first Anglican priest to introduce Christianity to the ancient town of Ile-Ife in the Osun province of the western region of the old Southern Protectorate of Nigeria and he was the first to build and Pastor a Church there.
He pastored the Church in Ile-Ife for many years before he was later transferred to Ondo province to head another branch of the Anglican Church for a further 16 years. After that he was posted to Ijebu province where he headed the local branch of the Anglican Church until he went into retirement in the old Lagos colony.
He was a deeply courageous man who loved the Lord passionately, who was totally dedicated and committed to the spreading of the gospel, who served the Church all his life and who was a great, powerful and fiery orator and preacher. My second paternal great grandfather was Rev. Joseph Suberu Fanimokun. He was my grandmother's father. He was also educated by the Anglican Church and he also graduated with honors in 1892 from Fourah Bay College in Freetown, Sierra Leonne.
He was also later ordained as an Anglican priest. He was appointed Principal of the famous Christian Mission Society (CMS) Grammar School in the Lagos colony in 1896 and he remained principal until 1914. CMS Grammar School is the first and oldest secondry school in Nigeria.
These facts, coupled with the fact that I am a devout and practising Evangelical/Pentecostal Christian, are a pointer to my rich Christian heritage and I am very proud of that. It is precisely because of that heritage that I have profound respect for the Body of Christ and that I revere all genuine men and women of God.
I have the deepest affection for each of them even where and when I do not totally agree with all their views, actions and submissions. Yet despite that once in a while that affection is put to the test and my patience and good faith is exhausted. The picture below provides a good example of this. Frankly it is difficult for me to fathom or fully comprehend what is going on there.
I see the much-loved and highly respected Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi of Deeper Life (one of the greatest Churches on the African continent and a pioneer Church within the Pentecostal denomination in Nigeria) and his wife felicitating with a man under whose watch more innocent and defenceless Nigerians, and particularly Christians, have been slaughtered than any other in the history of our country.
So much innocent blood has flowed under Buhari yet Pastor Kumuyi is still comfortable with smiling and shaking hands with him and neither has he said one word publicly about Leah Sharibu. I and many others are saddened by this. This is all the more so because I happen to love Pastor Kumuyi and the Deeper Life Church. I always have and I always will. Yet sadly I also feel a deep sense of shame and outrage about this outing. For how long must a few of our clerics embarass the Body of Christ and Christendom by bowing before our oppressors and encouraging them to continously torment, afflict and terrorise our people.
Pastor Kumuyi's photoshoot with Buhari reminds me of the famous picture of Pope Pius X11 shaking hands with and commending Adolf Hitler during the course of World War 11. The Catholic Church never lived it down and was compelled to tender a public apology for this grave error almost 50 years later.
Let us hope that one day every man and woman of God, whether he or she be a Pastor, Bishop, General Overseer or Archbishop, that has in any way supported, encouraged, applauded or colluded with the evil tyrant that has afflicted, scourged and plagued our land and our people over the last 3 years and six months will find the decency and courage to apologise for it.
Let us hope that more of our clerics can find the courage of the late Bishop Ajayi Crowther, the late Apostle Ayo Babalola, the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, the late Rev. Musa Asake, Rev. Ayo Oritsejafor, Bishop Emmanuel Bolanle Gbonigi, Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor David Ibiyomi, Dr. Paul Eneche, Prophet T.B. Joshua, CAN President Rev. Samson Ayokunle, Pastor Paul Adefarasin. Bishop El Buba, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, Apostle Samson Suleiman, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, Pastor Rhoda Awiliki and so many others.
They and countless other leaders of the clergy from all over the country that have remained true to their calling, stood firm in the face of tyranny, refused to bow to evil, spoken truth to power and stood up against the manifest injustice that has gripped the land are our pride and joy.
Shameless man without a job or business so all he does is fůck, snort coke and sow seeds of bitterness, hatred and discord amongst people all day every day. What a sad life he must be living.
PapaBaby: I was shocked too. Meeting the man who has killed more christians than the Ayatollah
that is why i like the jobless aggressive lazy idiotic pigs of bia-fra terrorist. Where did you see buhari killing people. The last time i checked, Buhari is the only president that have brought Christians out of poverty and showing them the way to Christ.

SaintAY: how about Jesus that dined with zaccheus... Nothing wrong with Kumuyi just shaking hands....
The issue is not about dining with but shining 32 with instead reprimanding and bringing to repentances but your ethic myopia can't allow you think that far until FH cuts your brainless skull.

Dbkd: Mouth diarrhea dey worry ffk. The defeat on his Boss Jonathan was so painful that He still hate Buhari.
He actually supported Buhari in 2015. That's why I don't take him serious. See this interview here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=619ia_Xe-TA You can go to 2:28 minutes if in a hurry but it's short anyway.

He has demonstrated self correction after finding out the true colour and agenda of APC. A quality exclusive to civilized minds unlike most Nigerians.
