Bede2u: I understand, I just have a feeling the other one wouldn't have augured out well either. There is a part of the story where Ojukwu was supposed to have a pact with this same Awolowo over sth , right? |
Re: . by Bede2u(m): 9:41pm On Oct 04, 2018 |
InyinyaAgbaOku:i will always say that ipob presented a unique opportunity for a new politics in the east. We wasted that opportunity. Kanu wasted that opportunity by not knowing wen to tone down and negotiate. If u want to punish or change our current govs, u have rally round someone to do it. Who is such a person? Kanu is probably dead. And we have no popular leader now who can lead the change 1 Like |

InyinyaAgbaOku: My brother it may seem as if I'm an ironsi apologetic, but how would Ironsi, who is accused by the north of shielding his coup plotting kinsmen, be one to allow northerners to attack IPOB? If ironsi were to be today's leader in alaigbo, he would be accused of shielding IPOB and his othet igbo kinsmen. 2 Likes |

What is going on here? |
Re: . by InyinyaAgbaOku(m): 9:45pm On Oct 04, 2018 |
Bede2u: That's not the issue now. What are we going to do with these Ironsis in power? Kanu came for a different reason, other than tackling these leaders to imitate Mbakwe, Okpara and Ibiam. Imagine, handing us to the FG just like that, cos of power? They are the ones that will face what Nzeogwu did to some people if they are not careful. That joke was expensive |

Without ZIK, Okpara would not have been the premier of the eastern region. |
Re: . by B2mario(m): 9:45pm On Oct 04, 2018 |
Bede2u:Nzogwu wasn't the initiator of the coup and had no intention of becoming the leader of Nigeria. The real plotters are from the southwest and they had the intention of killing all the then leaders including Zik and Ironsi, freeing Awolowo from jail and making him the prime minister. Nzogwu bought the idea as he was a fan of Awolowo and thought that what he was doing was right. Not knowing that it could be devastating. |
Re: . by Nobody: 9:46pm On Oct 04, 2018 |
InyinyaAgbaOku:No south east Governor invited the military. Please this narrative should end before it becomes the truth. We were all witness to PMB planned militarization of the South-East from inception. Did you not hear of Python Dance 1 which didn't pull grounds before the formation of Egwu Eke 2. The only thing the Governors were guilty of was docility. Failure to challenge Buhari's military agenda in Igboland, maybe stemming from the fact that Buhari may have even gone ahead to uphold emergency rule in the whole of the South-East and forcefully removed our Governors from their elected positions. Did Kanu heed to the warnings by Ohaneze and South-East Governors forum? No he didn't and wanted to plunge the Igbo nation into another unprepared civil war with the federal government. You guys should be wise. 9 Likes |

Enugu is the only state in the SE that only produce nothing, they do not produce human capital neither do they produce material resources. Why would I say that Enugu state is not a worthless and useless state? |
Re: . by B2mario(m): 9:53pm On Oct 04, 2018 |
Bede2u:The capital of Owerri was Umuahia. Is like Abakiliki was the one of Ogoja. |
Re: . by InyinyaAgbaOku(m): 9:53pm On Oct 04, 2018 |
B2mario: This is what I mean by carrying Nigeria on one's head, not minding the tribal realities. Why should Nzeogwu buy into it when Awolowo had kinsmen? What that means is that if things go south, you and your own kinsmen will go down and that's what exactly happened. It went on to change Nigeria's and Igbo history in particular 2 Likes |

They are only good at discussing how others failed, has Enugu state ever produced any leader the SE can proud of? Even if it is an IPOB or MASSOB leader? Why is it that Enugu state people are useless and worthless? Bede2u: |

Mention one person ever come out of Enugu state that untie Zik's shoe lace? ZIK was among the Africa's leading light, he was not a local champion. ZIK played in the international league where he influenced the likes Kwame Nkrumah etc. InyinyaAgbaOku:

superlightning: Let me enlighten you. Eyo Etta won in the Eastern region while Zik won in the Western region. When the SW did their politics and Zik lost out, he quickly moved to the East and removed Eyo Etta and replaced him with Okpara. Go and read your history |

onuebonyi: Sorry, alternative account says otherwise. Yoruba at the last minute rejected zik, who later ran back to bully eyo ita out of the leadership. Okpara was too good to be ignored and he proved himself as such, zik appetite for leadership was at lagos capital at the time. Okpara was just as Igbo and good (if not better) in leading the eastern region. So he owes zik NOTHING, he has long paid his due. 3 Likes 1 Share |
