This thread will be for professional and experience advice and also for those in my place. Please matured advice only no kid-ins.

Myself and my fiance graduated 5yrs ago, I have a B.Eng Petroleum and Gas while she has a BSc. Accounting. I have about 2yrs experience working with Huawei Telecommunications as a site maintenance engr- Airtel Tel while my fiance has about 1yr work exp with a micro finance bank. Both of us not working currently but into farming full time. To God be the glory we are expecting a baby, We hope to take our 7yrs relationship into a bigger home as soon as our baby arrives and most importantly availability of finance.

Being a man of many ambition @36 with limited opportunities in Nigeria my hope is gradually dwindling so I came up with the decision to relocate with my fiance.

So this is where I need advice, assist and help on best, cheapest and the fastest means we can immigrate out of Nigeria to have a better life.

What kind/class of visa app will suit our profile?
Can I carry out the visa processing myself because I rlly don't have much money these processing guys are charging?
How much budget will be needed from start to finish for a family of 3?(2adults+1infant)
My intention immigrating is mainly to go into faming abroad but I will have to work first after arriving to save up before that, so, which country among Canada, USA or Australia and best state/province will fit into this plan in mind?

Please kind advice is needed. Thanks and God bless us all.

If you do consider the Canada PR route. (which of course is worth the while), you won't need to pay all these agents their ridiculous charges. U can conveniently do it yourself and get your permanent residency. All you need to help yourself is to go to page one of this thread and read up. There is a wealth of information which is totally free and available for your consumption. You will be thankful that you did. Cheers!

thank you very much for your response

Yes, you can reference OANDA or XE rates in your POF document but I would use a rate between 290 - 300 N/CAD if I were you.
Give yourself a nice buffer. That’s one less thing to worry about after AOR

In another news!!!

Apologies this is coming late. It’s PPR!!!!

Started this journey in October 2017 after we made a decision to relocate.

Timeline

Minimum invited CRS 441
CRS 450
FSWO
NOC 1111
ITA 25 April
AOR 5 June
MEP 18 June
IP1 19 June
GCMS note request 30 August (had to request as I was scared after reading some comments here about Pension fund not being considered by CIC for POF)
IP2 27 September
Ghost update 2 October
Received GCMS 2 October (everything looks fine and I remember sharing here my PF was considered as POF as minimum required fund was marked met)

Then the long awaited golden mail arrived!!!!

PPR 3 October 2018 at exactly 3:39am, can’t remember the seconds grin
No ADR
Family size 3
Ottawa VO

POF - I prayed o for them to consider this PF as it was my last resort and only hope at that time as I don’t have anybody that can gift me money. Can’t remember the last time I got money gift tongue again, maybe childhood.

Medicals - Everything was fine for 3 of us other than the Dr recommending me for a further test because he sighted protein in my urine. God forbid!!! But thank God all was well after the further test although he still included protein something which my Jesus had taken away.

Criminal history - None by His grace other than childhood stealing of pencils and biros; and beating traffic lights in Lagos; which Nigeria PCC did not capture. grin

This tread is very informative and is got selfless people always willing to share. May God bless you all.

Armstead

congratulations sir.

AMEN to the protein in urine prayer!

the statements in bold made me laugh...if they count biro...pencil...eraser and sharpener theft....who will stand!!!! A merry heart is good like medicine. cheesy

truly this thread is extremely informative....thank you to all who comment and respond. I have been quietly "eating" up all the information...bless you all

Final GCMS notes received. In less than 30 days. Wonder why the delay for some people's notes.

Just reading the way London was toasting me there "Both have good English and good education. PA has provided good docs and info consistent with that found online. No apparent concerns. Good funds". Eligibility passed.

Oshey London. Took you 6 months to say just that. angry

Hi all, please I need reassurance. I was just looking through my ppr again and I’m almost getting worried. I didn’t fill that IMM008 form cos I didn’t think it was necessary since there had been no change in my family configuration( single applicant). But looking at it again, it appears to be a requirement. Please is there anyone that submitted passport without IMM008 and has received Copr? Biko help me

An attestation Letter from your school stating that your certificate is not ready will suffice.

You do not have to fill it if your family composition hasn't changed. If you feel uneasy leaving it out, you may then fill and submit.
