Former Nigeria youth international Samuel Chukwueze was handed his first start in the Europa League as Villarreal scored a penalty in stoppage time to draw 3-3 against Spartak Moscow away from home. Chukwueze started on the right of a four man midfield for the La Liga side and he didn’t look out of place despite playing in only his second professional game after making his bow against Scottish side Rangers two weeks ago. He was involved in the build up to the second goal scored by Villarreal but watch helplessly from the bench as Spartak Moscow battled back from going behind twice to take a 3-2 lead with a goal five minutes from full time. The failed Arsenal target played for 70 minutes before he was substituted by former Arsenal fans favorite Santi Cazorla, same player he replaced two weeks ago when he made his professional bow. Carzola ended up as the saviour for the Spanish side when he kept his nerves to slot home from the spot three minutes into time added on following an incident in the box of Spartak Moscow. A start or game time in the La Liga is probably next for the 19 year old who has wasted no time in making the step up from the youth team to the first team of Villarreal. 1 Like |

he needs to act fast before we lose ebere, ejaria and billing.i am not saying we must get the trio but atleast 2 of them. aside aging mikel and ndidi we lack genuine quality in the midfield. they have not been much noise about ejaria in the English football circle just because he plays in the Scottish league which is not highly rated by the english but once he makes the leap to an epl team and continue with his current form he will be capped by southgate asap cus the English lack quality in the middle and are trying all they can to remedy the issue. eze is likely to join spurs in January and if he gets to get some game time and perform well that will make his case dicey. as for Billing with his performance so far for bottom club huddlesfield, i foresee the danes calling him up before the end of this calender year Joebie: |

The Amputee Team Nigeria has qualified for the Amputee World Cup 3 times but have missed all those editions because of lack of funding. As we speak the other teams representing Africa, Kenya, Angola and Ghana are already in camp for the World Cup in Mexico. Which way Naija? Let’s do our little bit to support them. 7 Likes

Arnaut Danjuma is to Netherlands just as Ejaria is to Nigeria. Eze is very known to Rohr, I don’t understand the delay. We would likely make a move for the one that is least likely to agree to play for us — Billing. Na so we just be lol. charlesemeka85: 1 Like |

Two young Nigerian stars in the shape of Philip Billing and Ebere Eze have won the Player of the Month awards at their respective clubs. Billing has been one of Nigeria's most outstanding players in the Premier League so far this season and Blue and White Foundation members voted the central midfielder as Huddersfield Town’s September 2018 Player of the Month. A Denmark U21 international, he was picked ahead of Chris Löwe when the votes were counted. Billing is the fourth top tackler in the Premier League, an honour he shares with Leicester City duo Wilfred Ndidi and Ricardo Pereira, with 26 successful tackles made. The 22-year-old is the Terriers second top passer after making 287 successful passes. A division below, former Super Eagles invitee Ebere Eze,20, has been voted Queens Park Rangers September Player of the Month following a string of impressive displays. The attacking midfielder scored 2 goals in 5 Championship appearances last month which helped QPR record wins against Bolton Wanderers and Millwall. 1 Like |

ChrisKels: Ssdly bro, what u just typed seems like the truth.. I've often restrained from criticizing Rohr until I saw the line up for that Croatia game.. I wondered why a coach will play 5 pre world cup friendlies and still not be able to learn anything.. The man really killed the team with his team selection.. He isn't ready to learn at all.. Post world cup,we expect him to start rebuilding the team ahead of the afcon and Qatar 2022 . But see the rubbish he is doing. Calling up some people who don't deserve it and ignoring the pool of talents we have out there.. With Rohr still in charge,I'm afraid, our Qatar 2022 dream is very unrealistic.. |

ChrisKels: Hugely on point. Our cadet players should stop signing for English clubs that send them on loan. But i also think that sending them on loan MOSTLY because of low productivity....Iheanacho was sold outrightly...i know i used Nacho..Mikel had played in Sweden or Norway before going to England...No Nigeria has moved from Nigeria league or academy STRAIGHT to first team of a premiership club except him...Evidently Belgium is far better for young Nigerian players than any other league in the world. Yes. Check out the history From Keshi...Amokachi...Etim Esim..Cele Babayaro.....Onyekuru,Kalu...etc 1 Like |

The Arnaut Danjuma Pursuit: Why Super Eagles Are Option B It was a cracking goal A testament to the tales we and our folk had spun over time in awe of his prowess Arnaut Groeneveld Danjuma is an amazing talent and showed it again in the Champions league game between Club Brugge and Atletico when the Dutch Nigerian scored a beautiful right foot stunner While many will look on the goal with awe for most Nigerians there will be a feeling of pride heavily tainted with pangs of regret Regret over what might have been . . . http://www.soccerassembly.com/arnaut-danjuma-pursuit-super-eagles-option-b/ |

Samuel Chukwueze Dazzles In 1st Europa League Start For Villarreal Nigerian wonder kid Samuel Chukwueze got his first start for Villarreal in their 3-3 draw against Spartak Moscow in the Europa League on Thursday Villarreal Boss Javi Calleja made changes to the starting XI to refresh the team with the most noticeable addition being that of the Nigerian Youth International Samuel Chukwueze, who made his first start in the Yellows attack. . . http://www.soccerassembly.com/samuel-chukwueze-dazzles-1st-europa-league-start-villarreal/ 3 Likes |

A Critique On Last Night Performance Of Samuel Chukwueze .1. His hair-cut style was a turn-off. It is not natural to him. He was not like that at u-17. 2. He has a burst of energy could be injurious to him in the long run..ask Obafemi Martins and Chinedu Ogbuke...if you watched clearly towards 60,61,62,63...etc minutes..he was getting tired....his speed was decreasing...he was substituted rightly or wrongly... 3. His passes do reach as fast as the movement of fellow attackers....it seems his fellow attackers drop a bit to collect his passes even when the team`s attack is in full flight. . 4. His crosses lacked precision the few times he did it...he cuts in with his left foot...predictable...three players block him 5. He vision needs to be clearer. I know he is not a finished product...however i think that with more consistent performance....2019 AFCON is too far for him 2 Likes |

ChrisKels: Though Iwobi has played more on the wings than as an AM but we know it is majorly because of Mikel. Iwobi has played the AM Role a couple of times particularly in Mikel's absence. So saying the team does not have a single AM is not true. Besides, Iheanacho and Etebo can also play that role. Don't miss my point: In the absence of Mikel and Joel, Eze deserves a call up. But he not being called up doesn't mean we don't have a single AM in the team. 1 Like |

charlesemeka85: U thought I was joking when I said that asshole is here just for the pay? The boy has suffered enough neglect already, hence I wouldn't be mad at him if he chooses the lions ahead of the Eagles, the lions have already shown that they want him most , that sense of belonging is there now. Just imagine the humiliation the boy has faced by being over looked for an Academy player in Nwakali, plus Etebo and Ajayi getting selected ahead of him even though he has been out performing them in the same league. Rohr is clueless. I never knew we could fall for such fraud. He is a damne scammer 1 Like |
