SMH is anyone surprised by Ebere Eze's U20 invite?? It was coming.
There was absolutely no reason for Rohr not to invite him like he invited the Nwakali brothers...even if it's to train with the team and be on the bench.
People will say it's just U20, but if this guy moves to the epl - he's a 100 percent gone.
Southgate is a guy that likes taking risks with youth. If Ebere Eze performs for the U20 - then he's a 100 percent on his radar.
Well done Rohr. Your DM fetish better make us qualify and perform well at AFCON or e go be for you.

U thought I was joking when I said that asshole is here just for the pay? The boy has suffered enough neglect already, hence I wouldn't be mad at him if he chooses the lions ahead of the Eagles, the lions have already shown that they want him most , that sense of belonging is there now. Just imagine the humiliation the boy has faced by being over looked for an Academy player in Nwakali, plus Etebo and Ajayi getting selected ahead of him even though he has been out performing them in the same league. Rohr is clueless. I never knew we could fall for such fraud. He is a damne scammer

When u guys say "we don't have a natural AM" or " We don't have a single AM" it begs me to ask the question "what is Iwobi"?
We only have Iwobi. If Iwobi gets injured, we'll be stuck with a midfield of Ndidi -Onazi - Etebo.

Why would he turn down a call up to England’s U-20. Playing for their junior team does not seal his future. The only thing we can draw for this is Nigeria is Super Slow. Nothing stopped Aigbogun either... since we love drama, we can call him up now.

Yes he is not eligible for the Flying Eagles. But wetin stop Rohr?

BascoVanVeli:

Thank u very much. Honestly this is an opportunity for him to show his loyalty to us. He gave Nigerians his word so if a call to England's U20 can change that then we should move on.

through a statement on their official website, League of Ireland Premier Division side Shamrock Rovers have confirmed the transfer of promising Nigerian goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu to Manchester City.

Shamrock Rovers revealed that the transfer of Bazunu to the Premier League champions is the first major sale of a player developed by the Shamrock Rovers Academy since its inception in 2016.

Though the transfer fee has not been disclosed, the Hoops say it is the biggest transfer by an Irish club in the professional era.

The external Irish transfer record was previously held by Roy O'Donovan, who moved to Sunderland in the 2007-2008 season for €500,000.

Born in Dublin, Bazunu played for Republic of Ireland U15 national team before he was promoted to the U17s and posted a shutout in an international friendly against Turkey last month.

Aged 16 years and 109 days, he became the youngest goalkeeper to debut for Shamrock Rovers first team when he was named in the starting line-up against Bray Wanderers in June 2018.

Do you think, it will be easy for Nigeria to get him when he becomes a star

I don't agree with you at all. As a man , giving your word should mean a lot. The fact Rohr didn't call him now doesn't stop him from getting a call in the future but going ahead to play for a country after verbally pledging to another is morally wrong.

Samuel Kalu waited, John Ogu waited and Henry Onyekuru sure as heck waited so why must we rush with Ebere just because he has 2 passports? If he truly wants to play for us he will tell them where to put that call. Do you think England didn't offer Iwobi the world when he was in Kaduna? I am sure if he had not given his word he would be playing for three lions right now

Ebere Eze has been on form for a long time.. We did not show interest. You can not expect him to pause his international career for Nigeria.

A call from Rohr or people from the NFF to tell him that they are monitoring him for a future call -up could have made the difference.

Iwobi was about jumping on the plane abi.? Did Iwobi turn down playing for England’s junior teams? The only player that I know of that turned down a chance to play for the other country and waited is Otigba.

He did not catch small form.. He was outstanding last season and picked it up again this season. Serious people will notice.

All we needed to do was show interest.. Make the boy feel wanted.. Once this boy joins a premier league side, we will not be able to talk again.

Nigerians are some of the most disgusting human beings on the planet, earth. Once a player isn't invited, he would suddenly become the second coming of Messi. I tell you, if Kelechi Nwakali wasn't invited the wailers would be wailing about his non-invite.

Listen, if Ebere Eze wants to play for England, let him freaking go and let the door not hit him on the way out. We ain't gonna miss him. We've already seen how that (playing for England) is working for Tammy Abraham. BS upon BS angry sad shocked

Ebere has done well enough to be invited and he didn't - therefore I have every right to state my opinion.
