capatainrambo: We would both differ on the conduct of the Osun elections. The police had the right and indeed the mandate to ensure whoever wasn't directly involved in the election was deprived access to the polling units. The number of voters were few, and funny, we have yet to hear people from those polling units claiming they never voted. PDP gambled on Omisore collaborating with them, but he disappointed them. His prerogative. The courts are there in any case. 1 Like |

You are very funny, you think this is some local government politics, Benin is just a senatorial district not even a state or region. The binis have zero political value, their is not a single Bini politician that has political appeal. Lucky that is an ex gov is currently doing houseboy for kwankwanso. Oshomole from afemai would get any important highest post from Edo under APC (highest he involves his auchi people than a Benin man). Esan control PDP from time immemorial when it comes to federal level (the scrumbs ogiemonyi got was only out of anenih benevolence). Edo south today is 50/50 in both parties not like north that is pro APC or central pro PDP. This uncertainty is why it can't have a stake in anything except Edo central that is allowing south to have their way while they continue the vindictie repercussions from apc. Men like onolememen etc in central were already been groomed up to take over federal character from anenih who was a successor of Anthony enahoro. Until PDP let power. Today's APC is all about oshomole (afemai at large). Where is Benin in all these? |

Someone from Edo state has been Vp, Mike Okhai Akhigbe (September 29, 1946 – October 13, 2013)[1] was a vice admiral in the Nigerian Navy[2] who served as de facto Vice President of Nigeria (as Chief of General Staff) during the General Abdusalami Abubakar led military government, so its only fair that other ethnicities have a shot at Aso rock, who knows what the future holds, only God knows |

Re: Bini Presidency?how Possible? by 0monnak0da: 1:48pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
Very Possible. Presidency will come down south eventually and with the rancour and animosity between the SW and SE the SS have a very good chance . The two SW/SE will cancel themselves out leaving the SS as compromise candidate in suuch a scenario the states with the best chance are Akwa Ibom Cross River Edo and Delta as GEJ would be seen to havve representeed Bayelsa/Rivers so I believe Edo have a very good chance. Another factor in their favor is the attitude of the SE which is f they cannot have it that it must return to the North while the SW hae no problem with a SS president from Delta or Edo as along as it has no trace of Ibo |
Re: Bini Presidency?how Possible? by 0monnak0da: 1:50pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
OfoIgbo:Let the Ogonis first succeed in claiming turn to be governor in Rivers state. The truth is Efik Ibibio and Anang referred derogatorily as "mmongo" by the Ibos do not have that level of self confidence or outreach across the nation that Delta people have. With the greatest respect to that lot the Delta are a more advanced and exposed people |
Re: Bini Presidency?how Possible? by Asshurbanipal: 2:02pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
After SE take their turn and SW take their second turn. Work with ijaw and efik/ibibio maybe they will concede it to you |

oilPUSSY:OK I have noticed you Obviously you are Ibo. You are the emotional ones that shun facts and history In reality there is nothing like SS in our history so you are the one who is new to politics and a child Let us roll with SS as we know it now There are 2 SS east and west of the Niger ie Bayelsa,Rivers Cross River and Akwa Ibom east of the Niger previously known as Rivers State and Cross Rivers state( Initially South Eastern State) West of the Niger was MidWestern State later Bendel State and now Edo and Delta Politically they have different voting history. Bendel state was known as the Western Region before it and under the influence of Awolowo under the UPN , voting in a UPN governor Ambrose Alli. Previously it was under the FREE EDUCATION ZONE of the Action group and has no political relationship with the SS zone east of the Niger. So do not talk about SS as if it is an ethnic group. There is East and West On the side of the East before the civil war they voted NCNC and after the civil war in 1979 they rejected Zik and his NPP voting for Shagari and his NPN. The Senate President in 1979-1983 from Cross River Joe Wayas was voted in on the platform of NPN. Facts are stubborn young lady. Ignorant folk like you like to believe there is something like SS in the same way you foolishly talk about North Central. Plateau State has very different agenda from Kwara State and lumping them together as one is artificial and unrealistic. Edo has zero commonality with Ijaw or Ibibio whereas they have a strong historical relationship and signature in Lagos and with Ife |
