Hugely on point. Our cadet players should stop signing for English clubs that send them on loan. But i also think that sending them on loan MOSTLY because of low productivity....Iheanacho was sold outrightly...i know i used Nacho..Mikel had played in Sweden or Norway before going to England...No Nigeria has moved from Nigeria league or academy STRAIGHT to first team of a premiership club except him...Evidently Belgium is far better for young Nigerian players than any other league in the world. Yes. Check out the history From Keshi...Amokachi...Etim Esim..Cele Babayaro.....Onyekuru,Kalu...etc
You have to consider the work permit requirements are much stricter than it was during the time of Mikel.
Nwakali probably would've played in the league cup if this was still 01-07.

That's not true.

To expand the matter further I bought land in Anambra and I haven't paid one penny mire beyond all the money used to get Cof O.

But I have paid deve in Warri my area.

Well, customary law states that all people in a community are subjects to its ruler. Lagos state collects land use charges and taxes and from it pay monthly allowance to all rulers in the state. Same goes to other states.

I don't agree with you at all. As a man , giving your word should mean a lot. The fact Rohr didn't call him now doesn't stop him from getting a call in the future but going ahead to play for a country after verbally pledging to another is morally wrong.

Samuel Kalu waited, John Ogu waited and Henry Onyekuru sure as heck waited so why must we rush with Ebere just because he has 2 passports? If he truly wants to play for us he will tell them where to put that call. Do you think England didn't offer Iwobi the world when he was in Kaduna? I am sure if he had not given his word he would be playing for three lions right now

Iwobi was NEVER a big target for England wasn't really rated.

The NFF is 100% to blame thay have shown a complete lack of integrity and have essentially breached thier commitment by not calling him. Thier conduct is dishonourable.

If he decides to play for England would any body blame him. He waited for Nigeria and we ignored him.

Instead of encouraging keeper performances, we are carrying Ezenwa and Akpeyi as hand bags. Keepers like Afelokhai, Osigwe, even Maduka could have been invited. After all, It is unlikely that Ezenwa and Akpeyi will get a game.

Chelsea academy goalie, Nicolas Tie invited to the Ivory Coast team. This is how you get players to show loyalty to you. You show interest in them.

Agreed without one iota reservation.

Did he agree to represent Nigeria yes or no? Forget loyalty, this about being a man and keeping your word.

Sorry did the NFF keep thier word

Agreement requires participation by both partners. The NFF have not kept thier word.

To be honest that's not a guarantee.

Iwobi was struggling to get into England U18 and I.mean struggling at that time.

He committed to Nigeria publicly and fid Nigeria commit to him

The NFF in this matter is a disgrace and it's not all about Rohr.

So a declaration must be met with a senior cap? Interesting,

I would not call it small form by any stretch of the imagination.

If we can be inviting B players and youth players from obscure leagues. What are we waiting for before we invite him, " Egunje "

If you are good enough you are old enough.

Currently which of our AM outside of Mikel is better than him CURRENTLY

Did England make a last ditch attempt at Iwobi yes or no?

You saying the NFF should have called him is totally ridiculous. Since when did federations start calling up players?

Now you want to say that the one year he has waited is so long that it should constitute a crime which is also ridiculous. Even Ighalo was made to wait while he tore the championship to shreds.

Iwobi of course

Btw where is that your mouth now that Osimhen is banging the goals? You wouldn't know a top player if he was standing on top of you so stop with this slander.

The fact is that the coach is paid to decide who gets selected and if he doesn't feel the boy is ready yet for whatever reason you must accept it. It would be wrong to cap a player you won't use. If Ebere were my little brother I would tell him to be a man of his word because that is what shows the character of a man.

I think England are more aggressive now in their recruiting of players with dual nationality than ever before. They tried to snatch Iwobi from under our very nose. That says it all. How do u rate Iwobi today?

I promise you England got better at making Nigerian-descents commit to them since their Iwobi mishap. That’s how progressive nation’s think. They learn the right lessons. Today many Nigerians will say don’t even approach any AngloNigerian because of Tammy. Spot the difference.

Yes because when he does get in he will have a chance of staying there for years whereas the chances of being a main stay at England are slim shady.

I disagree. We probably won’t have even gone to the World Cup without Iwobi’s input.

Is it SE that has actually helped Iwobi this season?

Let’s stop thinking that we are helping these players but rather focus on how we can harness them. The relationship is a mutual one after all.

SMH is anyone surprised by Ebere Eze's U20 invite?? It was coming.
There was absolutely no reason for Rohr not to invite him like he invited the Nwakali brothers...even if it's to train with the team and be on the bench.
People will say it's just U20, but if this guy moves to the epl - he's a 100 gone.
Southgate is a guy that likes taking risks with youth. If Ebere Eze performs for the U20 - then he's a 100 on his radar.
Well done Rohr. Your DM fetish better make us qualify and perform well at AFCON or e go be for you.

I agree without any reservation.

Iwobi was an academy player before he played for the SE. It was after he played for us Arsenal decided to renew his contract. Even Wenger confirmed he never thought Iwobi will make it.

I repeat, without SE nobody go hear am.

You never know how his development would have panned out elsewhere assuming his arsenal contract won’t have been extended.
Isn’t Iwobi better of under Emery? He probably would have done better under another manager (not Wenger). How do you attribute his improvement to SE?

Wenger's body language then showed he was never counted among the numbers in Arsenal.

Iwobi's invitation to the national team and his performance for the SE made Wenger changed his mind to renew his contract. Let us tell ourselves the truth. I followed Iwobi that period.
