Wenger's body language then showed he was never counted among the numbers in Arsenal.

Iwobi's invitation to the national team and his performance for the SE made Wenger changed his mind to renew his contract. Let us tell ourselves the truth. I followed Iwobi that period.

Wenger publicly said he rather Iwobi play for England even before he played against Egypt

That was not Iwobi's first invitation to the SE.

Lol you can’t even defend your stance u dey throw weak punch.

Modified
Bascovanveli let me reiterate. You hand him a late invite for the Libya friendly. We don’t even need to play him. He just need to make the match day squad.

Two things would have been achieved:

1. England would realize they have to take their hands off, because he is ours.
2. He would know he is very much part of the Nigerian project.

You dey yan say u wan call am to convince am why it’s better for him to wait. You don’t convince a player to wait, that should come out of their own volition. That’s like saying we don’t consider you good enough now. You need us more than we need u.

Iwobi was an academy player before he played for the SE. It was after he played for us Arsenal decided to renew his contract. Even Wenger confirmed he never thought Iwobi will make it.

I repeat, without SE nobody go hear am.
That's not true. Wenger rated him. He stopped him from going on loan the season he broke out.

Ovie Ejaria was key in Rangers win over Rapid Vienna on Thursday night as the Gers pushed themselves back to the top of Group G in the Europa League - and he believes his loan at Rangers is better than that at Sunderland last term.

The 20-year-old played the entire 90 minutes as Rangers came from behind to win 3-1 over their Austrian opponents, thanks to an Alfredo Morelos brace and a James Tavernier penalty.

On loan from Liverpool, Ejaria was instrumental in Rangers build up play and his quick feet and inch-perfect pass allowed Morelos to get to the ball first before being brought down for the Gers' penalty in the 84th minute.

Ejaria, who spent time on loan at Sunderland last season in England's Championship, reckons his loan spell at Rangers is proving beneficial - more so than it did at Sunderland.

"Yeah, you could say so [that it is a step up from Sunderland]," Ejaria told Rangers' Youtube Channel. "You're playing in Europe, in the Europa League which is a very high level so I'm really happy with the way it's going at the moment."

Ejaria went on loan to the Wearside club during the second half of the 2017-18 campaign, where he made just 11 Championship appearances and scored one goal. He has made eight appearances for Liverpool's first team.

Rangers' number 10 is likely to feature in some capacity on Sunday afternoon, as Gerrard's side play host to Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts in what could prove to be a crucial encounter.

The games Eze was called up for are friendly matches so thankfully he will still not require a long switching process to Nigeria that is if he called up later this year. Most of the current players are bench warmers so I see no reason why he was not called up earlier. Rohr also needs to scout for a decent goalkeeper who is playing regularly

The UEFA Nations league have given European teams opportunity to call up as many players of one or double descent as they like and play them in competitive matches

Africa needs to respond with a similar league else European nations will be far ahead in competitive nature and pool of talents

Europe is planning to keep the world cup for many decades with this Nations league

Bro...Rohr is a saboteur
I have begin to believe that rohr takes money from some of these bench warmers to get super eagles call ups
unless we vioce out and petition the NFF rohr will never call Eze.
Rohr is too relaxed and he is taking the Nigeria job wit light finger
Pinnick no longer have time to woo these lads ever since he has been getting FIFA an CAF appointments
we really need to the NFF Twitter hurdle to vioce out otherwise rohr will mess up our football.

dude is only interested in German based players

Is this really necessary, why use such debasing and abusive words. It is totally uncalled for. Komekn has strong convictions on what he believes and he has had heated arguments with a lot of people but he never gets abusive or used caustic words on people, that alone should at least make people to reciprocate his gesture. He deserves none of these and your using such uncouth language does not make your case stronger.

komekn:

I know you will find this a hard and bitter pill to swallow but have an open mind.

Look at Chuks Aneke in the very lowly league two he is supposed to be a midfielder but is the outstanding stand out player for club and in that league.

Have you thought about Josh Maja too goal scorer league 1,

The NFF should get them attached before they blow up and it becomes problematic. I really don't know what they are doing with Ebere Eze as well.

Chuks Aneke again. That dude ain't improving bro. After he was released by Arsenal his S-curve just dey point downwards. 11games already, he was only in 3. Him get injury??. For crying out loud. This is Nigeria super eagles. Call this player, call that player. We need players who are ready to bleed on the field not ones wey want use us as catalyst.

It's true. Even Iwobi said Arsenal doubted his ability and wanted to release him not just once. The SE call was a game changer.

Wenger said this after he played for Nigeria in two friendlies and after he saw that he performed well for us. It was during that period Arsenal made him signed a contract.

SE call was the game changer.

We need to find solutions to our unique problems. That’s what UEFA did. It’s an African problem. We are not thinking. Even if we think, we do not do.
