I don hear una. Remember, he was not even in Arsenal U23 team as at the time he was called to the SE. He was in the U19 academy then.

Wenger had already stopped him from going on loan so that right there proves he was in his plans

So if for example a dual national dies playing for Nigeria does it make him more patriotic than the one who didn’t die? Dying on the field is an accident. Leave it at that. Your idea of patriotism is an illusion.

Tell us about the promise. Was there one in the first place?

Okwaraji is a fallen hero because he died WHILE SERVING THE NATION. It could have been someone else maybe Vic Moses — someone many of u call unpatriotic
BascoVanVeli:

Even a soldier can die outside of war but does that mean we take it for granted when they die defending their country?

First u agree that a player should break his promises and now u want us to forget about our fallen hero because he could have died somewhere else. Wehdone sir!!

they have more access to the said players than we do because they practically groomed them. Hence, they utilized more of them than we did at various age levels. Let’s be logical how many of the said dumped players deserved a recall? All the Nigerian players that have once been invited and forgotten, would u say we also dumped them? We are talking “one passport” Nigerians now.

Modified
It’s an unfair comparison because we haven’t been able to get a lot of the said players to play for us in the first place.

So in your personal dictionary patriot and fallen hero are the same thing abi? Please if you don't have any valid points let us just end this because u are just running in circles.

It’s not a logical argument in the first place.
Their chances in SE should also depend on how good they are consistently.

your example of a falling hero does not add anything to the discussion. It’s off point, except of course you are trying to equate it with patriotism. So what was the point bringing in Okwaraji?

AND THE OWAMBE CONTINUES

This is just a handful of the Nigerian origin players that play in football academies in England.

I can say this without contradiction there is no EPL academy that doesn't have Nigerian origin players. There are too many too mention.

There is a Nigerian origin midfielder in Everton, Dennis knocking on the first team door. Will he make it, I simply do not know.

They have way too many at their disposal. We just need to be ahead of them in spotting the best. It would take close monitoring. Somebody is busy talking about they need us more than we need them, instead of us focusing on what is in it for us.

Of course u will say it is off point when it counters what u are saying.

The fact he died in the shirt means we should take it serious and make sure whoever wears it will do it justice. If u don't understand that then we should end the convo because I am not good at talking to brick walls..

Someone who played for England’s U16, U17 and U18. What’s is Basco yapping?

Actually if the truth mist be told he was not rated highly he played 1 game for England at U18 level and he was 17 then and three games at U17 level.

All this talk that the English FA were begging him Iwobi to play is simply fantasy.

Iwobi got recognition from playing for the SE at this stage he had not played for Arsenal first team. He was an academy player when he got his first senior cap in the SE.

The influence of his uncle in the situation can not be overlooked.

We have a young Nigerian in the name of Josh Maja who is now at age 19 the highest goal scorer in league one. So when a premiership team then buys him that's when we we will call him. Same thing follows for Ebere Eze.

Outstanding performance should be the bench mark not past youthful glories.

Both these players came to the SE party to train in London. They committed but the NFF officials have shown zero commitment. Commitment is an action in both words and deeds. In this context the NFF have done nothing.

I don't know about that but he was in Arsenal U19 academy team when he made his debut for the SE. That was way before he made his debut for Arsenal. He never played one single match in the EPL before he played for SE. Fact.

The snapshots proved he was only playing for Arsenal U19 academy team before he was called to the national team. He was never in Premier league 2. Fact.

Check the dates he played for SE and the date he made his debut for Arsenal.

Many Arsenal academy players were promoted to the first team but not all were given the chance. Akpom was already playing some games for Arsenal first team before Iwobi but he's nowhere now.

Akpom and Iwobi aren't the same..
Even without the national team invite, Iwobi still could have progressed further in the arsenal first team.. Don't forget it was his performance in the UCL against barca that brought him into the limelight...

Na lie. It was his performance in the EPL that got him noticed. That was even after he played for SE while an academy player.

Nigerians are some of the most disgusting human beings on the planet, earth. Once a player isn't invited, he would suddenly become the second coming of Messi. I tell you, if Kelechi Nwakali wasn't invited the wailers would be wailing about his non-invite.

Listen, if Ebere Eze wants to play for England, let him freaking go and let the door not hit him on the way out. We ain't gonna miss him. We've already seen how that (playing for England) is working for Tammy Abraham. BS upon BS angry sad shocked

O pari

Nwakali should never have been invited. I don't think anybody with depth of understanding was clamouring for his inclusion.

There was and still is no rational basis for Nwakali brothers to be invited not by performance or by potential. However, they have been called SPECAIL TALENT by some. We also invited Osimhen a player who had done nothing beyond past youthful glories.

If you make a commitment it's a matter of honour you follow that pcommitment with an action.

It's like promising a woman marriage in Nigeria after doing introduction, you come back to England sit in your apartment watching Eastenders and do nothing. That's dishonourable conduct and deceptive.

Thats what the NFF have done been dishonourable and lacking integrity.

If another man now comes in and pays bride price and she WAKA go will you blame her ❓ please tell me Oh.

If Iwobi an academy player was called to the national team, what stops NFF from calling outstanding talents like Eze, Aluko, Tega Onomah, Josh Maja, Ovie and Chucks Aneke into the national team?

These players are good in the position where we are having problems. AMF.

Chuks Aneke again. That dude ain't improving bro. After he was released by Arsenal his S-curve just dey point downwards. 11games already, he was only in 3. Him get injury??. For crying out loud. This is Nigeria super eagles. Call this player, call that player. We need players who are ready to bleed on the field not ones wey want use us as catalyst.

Please just go and do a bit of research on Chuks Aneke if you like watch his video clips.

In league one last season he was MK Dons top goal scorer with 10 goal and if I am right same number of assists.

Wanted by multiple clubs including a EPL club but MK Dons blocked it. They just couldn't afford to loose him.

After that go and check his stats in league two.

It's better to have the most outstanding player in a club and league that an anonymous bench warmer or struggling player in a higher league ARGUABLY.

Have an open mind and remember minds are for changing.

Last season Success was a wayward TOTAL WASTEMAN fighting with multiple Olosho inside hotel and getting drunk.

But this season he is getting his act together I had written him off. But now I am being forced to WRITE HIM IN, not completely because it's early days. But there is clear improved attitude, focus and discipline. I am pleased for him, because the evidence is seen on the football pitch.

u guys are funny oooo
so u expect rohr to be handing out senior caps like water in order to tie the players down itmakes no sense
were u expecting rohr to give onyekuru an invitation and then dump him for another in the next match no
it has to be slow phasing out eg mikel, joel [very soon]
Inviting eze wouldnt solve a problem instead it will create problem of who to drop

u may say so and so but forget that experience is important in the national team

some are looking are exciting football likely spain but we should be interested in result for now

sweet football doesn't always gurantee victory
