Do you remember George Abbey played RB for Nigeria Yobo child hood friend. After playing for Nigeria he didn't go beyond Macclesfield and Port Vale finally ending up in Cyprus. It didn't boost his career.

Do you remember Danny Shittu playing for the SE nearly destroyed his career.

Consider Ademola Lookman what will playing for Nigeria do for his career. A player that Everton rejected a £25 million bid from Liepzig.

What will playing for Nigeria do for Ejaria, Seyi, Tega and Tega, Maja at thus current stage these guys are in the public eye. With a lot of clubs looking at them.

Tega and Tega, Seyi are all on over £30k a week they are not desperate.

Possibly for Chuks playing in the lowly league two it could bring him more into the view of other clubs. However if he gets a move in January to the Championship then playing for the SE will be a matter of pride and love if the Fatherland not football career progression.

Actually if the truth mist be told he was not rated highly he played 1 game for England at U18 level and he was 17 then and three games at U17 level.

All this talk that the English FA were begging him Iwobi to play is simply fantasy.

Iwobi got recognition from playing for the SE at this stage he had not played for Arsenal first team. He was an academy player when he got his first senior cap in the SE.

The influence of his uncle in the situation can not be overlooked.

We have a young Nigerian in the name of Josh Maja who is now at age 19 the highest goal scorer in league one. So when a premiership team then buys him that's when we we will call him. Same thing follows for Ebere Eze.

Outstanding performance should be the bench mark not past youthful glories.

Both these players came to the SE party to train in London. They committed but the NFF officials have shown zero commitment. Commitment is an action in both words and deeds. In this context the NFF have done nothing.

Football can be crazy it seems some clubs and thier coaching staff despite thier UEFA coaching badges are just plain BUFFOONS.

That's why the club you sign for can either make or break your career. You must be true to yourself and choose a club who's philosophy and approach will complement your game.

Consider Mahrez going to Scottish club St Mirren for nearly three months in 2014 and not signed, after scoring 7 goals in 4 matches. But then it was a blessing in disguise, imagine if he had stayed they would have destroyed his progression and career.

We Africans have the Athletic ability the strength and the speed.

I was taking to a recruiter in a championship club in Yorkshire and he made it intrinsically clear to me. We need more African boys here help me find some they are the guys that have the athleticism.

I watched a game between Liverpool and Chelsea U18 all the Chelsea players apart from the goal keeper were black.

I could talk about the players of Nigerian origin that you haven't heard about in Academies but it's too early for that publicity.

So if you have a son that's got all those attributes brake him to the north of England. Where there are very few of our people in the population. If he is good they will sign him almost immediately.

Club, league, manager are all the various battles you will have to overcome.

Then meet or exceed expectations, for instance Sadiq Umar was brought in to Rangers to be a big strong imposing center forward. Unfortunately he looks the part but cannot deliver any of the expectations.

Meanwhile Uche Ikpeazu who plays for Hearts who are top of the Scottish premier league. Is everything that Sadiq is not.

Anichebe was aggrieved and rightly so. He got seriously injured in Nigerian colours and no one in the Nigerian federation gave him a call to check on his health.

He got injured and was unceremoniously forgotten intentionally he was still at Reading at this stage. He and Aluko would go to Nigeria together on national assignment. I could tell you more about the conduct of the NFF but you may not believe and to what purpose.

Reading got relegated, he eventually went to Blackburn who got relegated, then Burton who got relegated some could call it bad luck.

He is now at Bradford in league one probably highest paid player. He is good enough in my opinion but not playing good football and he is not the outstanding player in his league although currently injured. But then is Ogu and Joel Obi better than him, ❓ I Really do not know.

However, my view without prejudice is that Chuks Aneke is better than all of them and he is in league two. You may find that strange ❓

This is the conundrum sometimes that's it's harder to play good football in a physically intensive taxing league than a more technical one. So if you can in that environment are you better ❓
