It is been 6 weeks since armed robbers stormed my area and shot at security guards, killing one on the process while the fortunate one survived.

Every night, I relive the moments.
I get less than 2 hours sleep and it's beginning to affect me psychologically.

I stay awake perpetually all night with my heart beating hard that I could hear the thump in my ears.

I can't concentrate even at work.

I jerk out of sleep with fear.

I don't trust the vigilantes anymore as they were not able to repel the attack.

Please where can I get a good post robbery therapy?

no one gives a fuk abt what any other person is going thru.

the govt is not there for u - they even rape you every day.

the friends are not there for you cause they are hustling too hard

your bros are not there for you cause they gat their own loads of problems!



this is Nigeria - a place truly worst that hell.

the only Nigerians that deserve hell are our politicians - No any other Nigerian deserves to go to hell anymore - cause they have all suffered their own share of hell.




My advice to you is - relocate to another part of the hell - move to another place it will help you feel safe for a while.

It is honestly. Even recently I have had an experience, but God is good.

If only leaders worldwide cared more about the people and if only people wouldn't be corrupt and demand the most from their leaders.

The only Therapy I know is courage...summon courage bro. I was once in your shoes. My apartment was invaded some years back by an 8-man robbery gang. It was like Nollywood movie. My neighbour in the next house, on sighting an unusual procession of hefty men in the wee hour of the night led her into calling the police. It was an eve of eid celebration in lagos. Our yeye police could not come until after they had taken away my brand new car. Thank God nobody was killed. They also took my laptop away. Every night, I would feel like they were back in the premises lol cos of some imaginary strange sounds. Thank God I was able to recover the car via the tracking device offered by one of the telecomms companies in Nigeria at that time. Summon courage and pray they don't visit again.

Nope, we parked out a few months after the ugly incidence. I cannot forget that night in a hurry. My mother-inlaw came visiting and was just begging the robbers not to hurt us. she was braless. she woke up suddenly from her sleep and jumped to the living room, begging them. They pushed her side and said, if they co-operate with us, they would not be hurt. They were fully armed. It was just God who took control. The smell of strong alcohol was oozing out of their body

Good for you. I should do same too. But in the meantime, I'd like to just put this away and have decent sleep at least.
