Or better yet, if the moderators will permit me, I will just drop the school agent's phone number and email and you can deal directly with him.

That will not be allowed here

Exactly what he told me.its quite expensive 1300 dollars. I dont know maybe the OP can talk to him to bring it down.he also said Admission opens twice a year.January and August

Update on My chat with the guy
he made me realise one can go ahead and do it by himself if you feel d price is too much , hahahaha dude ain't ready to reduce the price , that guy no send anyone, and with what I noticed he doesn't appear desperate, he said one will pay him 60% first, send him your transcripts and other necessary documents which he will verify and warned not to send fake documents, then balance up when it is ready. knowing fully well that one will still write an exam and still be interviewed by the school rep(found dt on the School's site) so I asked if those will be skipped since one is applying tru an agent, to my surprise he said yes.
Hope you guys are aware d guy is UK based and not in Mexico, going by what he told me, and if one wants to go with January intake, embassy is closed abi? been thinking about how feasible it will be
I understand we want to make use of this opportunity, because it is a scholarship program and ja pa commot naija, but wait a minute, what if, i mean what if you pay and your money enters voicemail, who you want hold responsible? 1300dolls no b small money for dz economy mehn,m just being careful, m not saying m sure d guy ain't genuine. Dz country don teach person to get sense by force, lol
OGA benpedro please don't get me wrong, but if there's a way to verify the authenticity of this guy as the School's agent i personally will appreciate it. Gracias

That alone should tell all you need to know about that agent, he is just after your money, if you skipped the exam and interview he will make up a fake one to submit for your admission.

Typical Nigerian with fraudulent activities, doing things right is not in our DNA.

Pay $1300 to an agent based in London you never met and may never know his way about and kiss good bye to that money.

@OP, i have a mexican gf whom i met online and she has been asking me to come over but i'm kind of afraid due to all kinds of bad news i have heard about mexico, also where i am working now i earn about 300k monthly (not in Nigeria). do you think i will earn more over there and also she wants us to get married and from there i will get mexican citizenship. pls i need your advise, thanks

Please where is that and how can I get there too?

I left Nigeria around May 2015 and by August 2015 I already got my two years temporal residency with work permit. Just last year October, I applied for my permanent residency because I have a Mexican baby and it was approved. Once you have a Mexican permanent residency, you can always apply for the citizenship. Look, I don't stand to gain anything from coming here to share my experience and to help others but you're making it difficult. You're so annoying.

Just now following this thread. I think the guy asked a fair question based on your visa. The impression you were giving .... before your explanation....is that one just have to show up in Mexico and. An start a legitimate business. Your explanation...which you consider personal...having a Mexican connection (gf) to guide you through the process....having a Mexican child......all of these very important in putting you in your present position. We wouldn't know all this important stuff if it weren't for the question....it's soooo much crucial info in that one little comment.
@ topic...it's nice to hear from someone living in Mexico. The one thing I disagree with...is that they are not racist. I guess you don't move around much....Mexicans in general do not like Blacks...they look down on Blacks...but will tolerate Blacks depending on the circumstances...will kiss a Black's ass...if the Black is in a position to help him/his family...a position such as yours. Whites. ..they ehmmm....'worship'.
And yes.....Mexico is wayyyy more developed than Nigeria period.
My question......were you fluent in Spanish before working?...how long did it take to learn?

bro, you wouldn’t blame them, they just want to be conscious of their dealings and I wouldn’t blame you also as you want to be a good Nigerian. The rate at which Nigerians scam each other now is on the high side and nothing to be proud of, that’s why everyone wants to be sure of their dealings. I really commend your efforts on this thread.

Mexicans have both their father and mother's last names attached to their names. You can just omit the second last name

Hmmm......thank you for this info! ...always have a problem knowing which one exactly is the last name!...will see a name like Sanchez at the end...ok... that is a surname...next time it is not at the end!

On Mexicans and not moving to Canada because of distance from family. 100% correct.... Mexicans...family comes first...my observation... and when they are separated too long from their family.... alcohol becomes their #1 best friend...family or death. Canada is really too far away for their comfort.

Maybe I'm missing something here..who called you a scammer? Or are you the agent? If you are not then why are you getting angry because people smell a rat about the agent you introduced them to?

An a agent who lives in London is asking for $1300 to process an admission to Mexico and was ready to allow prospective student skip exam and interview ?

Mr. Pedro you don't have to get offended because someone is been careful, if you really want to help your fellow Nigerians which you already know what we are you don't get pissed off because of what we throw at you, opening this thread you should expect things like this, we know ourselves, we are Nigerians.

The OP is a nice person.

He takes time to answer questions whenever he is free.

@justwise, no two persons are exactly the same.

We all react differently to questions or enquiries.

And if the OP was a white man, I guess you wouldn't have scolded him the way you did......you will simply say, na so oyinbo dey do.

For me, the OP has done a good job so far.

Not everyone will accept this. It's okay. That's life for you.

The agent is simply acting as an agent.

The agent clearly told me that he is not forcing anyone to go through him......if you feel you can handle it yourself or you have someone else to do it for you...that you are free to go ahead....these are his words to me.

So, please let the OP be. You can choose to go with the agent or do it yourself. Highly optional please.

I think the primary reason for this thread was not even for this university issue because benpedro stated a couple of times we shouldn't derail the thread with this. I think we are too bitter as Nigerians, we don't get the facts before we make our judgement and anywhere we hear scam, we just take up arms without viewing the full picture. We are just too bitter in everything
