So, that United front voted Fela Durotoye as consensus candidate for the Presidency over Moghalu and Sowore, when Fela wasn't even a shoe-in for his own party's candidacy?

I wonder what Oby Ezekwesili and the other clowns responsible for such a flawed process have to say about their ineligible Presidential candidate

One thing I know for sure.

2019 election is between APC and Opposition parties chiefly dominated by the PDP.
All these mushroom parties will only be doing the PDP a grievous disservice.
The Nigerian electorate is divided between APC and opposition, meaning the more fragmentated the opposing side, the more scattered their votes are. Unfortunately, it spells collective doom for them all as their votes are not channeled towards one consensus direction, whereas, the votes of APC remain constant with unrelenting followership.
Very well observed, that is why I have always said that Sowore is a scam sponsored by APC
Re: Ann Special Convention/presidenital Primary, 2018 by rickyrex(m): 5:50am On Oct 07, 2018
this is politics for you... as more stronger people emerges as presidential candidate the weaker the center. so people should not think that it will affect PDP alone... some of this people winning in their various party ones voted out PDP. they now see that but PDP and APC are some how weak. it will not be easy for any political party. the margin buhari used in wining last presidential election will might not be same any more. Nigeria are becoming more exposed and wise as situations get tougher. if you check very well even the recent areas won by APC as governor were all mark as unfair meaning and this is really educating other political aspirants in various political on how to combat and secure their votes next election

Let's be guided please Gbenga Olawepo-Hasim is a former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the People's Democratic Party. It is easier for him to be used for distortion of the Party

ANN conducted it's party primaries on 29th of September, 2019. Olawepo-Hasim stepped down on 28th of September, 2019. Fela Durotoye emerged victorious with votes 240 - 7

We should all understand these political gimmick now. Once beaten let's be million times shy and extremely vigilant

Nigerians should be wiser than this now

The attention of the National Working Committee of Alliance for New Nigeria under the leadership of Mr. Emmanuel Dania has been drawn to a news report in tribuneonline.ng about ANN entering into a strategic alliance with some other political parties through the facilitation of Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim who has been parading himself as the elected candidate of ANN and as so entered into this alliance.

As a party that believe in the principle of Transparency, Integrity and Excellence, we wish to use this medium to reiterate the following:

1. That the party Alliance for New Nigeria has only one Presidential Candidate produced during the party’s Presidential Primary and Special Convention held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 where Mr. Fela Durotoye emerged and have been duly returned and filed with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

2. That the Alliance for New Nigeria has not entered into any strategic alliance with People’s Trust (PT) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with the intention to form a new party Alliance for People’s Trust and whoever has engaged in any discussion of this sort has done so on his own volition and without due process, approval and consent of the Board of Trustees of the Party and also its National Executive Committee.

3. That Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim was an aspirant on the platform of ANN until September 28, 2018 when he formally withdrew his participation in the party’s presidential primary that held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 and produced Mr. Fela Durotoye as its Presidential Candidate and Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim cannot continue to parade himself as the Presidential candidate of ANN and creating needless confusion.

4. That Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim equally issued press statements to the media and also published same on his Facebook page announcing his withdrawal from the primary and thus cannot be the candidate of the same party he has withdrawn from. Although he has joined forces with the former interim National Chairman of the party and have organised an illegal primary and included names of members of the BoT of ANN and founding members of the party in their claim of an expanded BoT but all of these illegalities have been refuted and disclaimed severally in the media.

5. That INEC and the Nigerian Police have been duly informed of the nefarious activities of Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim and Dr. Jay Osi Samuels which are obviously directed at causing a breakdown of public peace and causing rancour in the party and would wish to call the attention of the Inspector General of Public to these developments such that it can be nipped in the bud.

6. That both Mr. Olawepo-Hashim and Dr. Jay Osi Samuels have the freedom of association as granted them by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and can exercise this right by associating with whoever they so deem fit but should do so without involving or dragging the name of ANN into their association or alliance.

7. That only persons or group of persons mandated by the duly constituted Board of Trustees of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) can engage with anyone or group of individuals or parties on behalf of the party to pursue any of such alliance and association and where any one is under any guise engaging in any discussion of this kind, the party by the protection of the law can press charges for damages and for impersonating the party leadership.

8. That ANN would wish to advise that anyone that wish to proceed with any discussion as they deem fit should do so without involving ANN and be so advised of the repercussions of their action.

Signed:
Mr. Emmanuel Dania
National Chairman
Alliance for New Nigeria

Apc has lost millions of followers in which many went back to pdp and others to parties like this, so this ur analogy is baseless. These small parties also affect apc. The mandate can go anywhere btw apc n pdp.

Re: Ann Special Convention/presidenital Primary, 2018 by DamienW: 6:52am On Oct 07, 2018
Gbenga Olawepo Hashim isn’t serious.
He has left the Alliance for New Nigeria after attempting to bribe party EXCO and delegates.
The few he was able to induce left with him, created a faction and have now merged with peoples trust.
So they are now Alliance People’s Trust.
Good riddance to very bad rubbish.
