What did I say different? I didn’t say he didn’t start. I only said he was currently on the pitch at the time.

ChrisKels:

Uche Ikpeazu started and played the match to the end, bro.

Oviemuno “Schoolboy” Ejaria in the thick of action from the start for Rangers as they are currently trashing table toppers, Hearts. About 65 mins played.

Uche Ikpeazu is on the pitch for the visitors.

So man mountain Uche no fit hold ground score goal

The World Cup is the most grand event of the year. I love football, I watch all the matches, if not in the live broadcast, it is always in replay. The https://777score.ph website helps me to keep track of the games, always shows the schedule of matches, the time, and publish the results after the games. It is very convenient.

jamilu collin's paderbron are really doing well in the german 2nd tier where the nigerian leftback have been a regular figure in the team. they are 6th in the log and just 4 points adrift the table toppers cologne. i foresee them making the big leap to the bundesliga net season

Sorry for digressing, but how bad is Sadio Mane, he needs to be benched. He is the weak link in that attack.

why should I forget that? First, I am a Super Eagles fan, not a Inter, Torino, Parma, or Chievo fan. I was among those who religiously canvassed for his invitation pre-World Cup, and you want me to forget how he disappointed some of us? All that classiness does not amount to anything. This is 2018.

Forget about the way he has been playing for super eagles.

Joel obi is a classy player

they deserve some credit, they gained promotion to the 2nd tier just this season and are one of the favorites for possible promotion to the german top tier though the season is still young. i don't care about the other teams in the league but have a keen interest in paderborn because one of our own is an important member of the team

I dont believe in Yahaya, Chigozie Eze anymore. Bn 5yrs since they shone in that U17 tourney, yet they still play youth football. This is what is called stagnation.

About Nwakali, the less said, the better. To think that a certain scam of a coach invited this boy ahead of Ebere Eze and James Igbekeme...SMH

Reason why I have never bought the idea of even automatic promotion from U17 to U20. Not to talk of promoting them straight to the U23 and Super Eagles. Many of those boys fizzle out after U17.

I have closely followed youth football since 1985 and that has been the trend. Well, some of us here are just beginning to understand this now.

If u keep having hopes on every Young player then they will continue to break your heart.

Yahaya yes. He is not injured. His dormancy is a worry and I still have a soft spot for the lad. But for K.Nwakali, well, read this before you load your guns again at the lad...

http://aoifootball.com/2018/10/06/nwakali-excited-with-porto-return-after-sorting-out-visa-issues/

He was sorting out visa issues hence his absence.

Do your homework a bit deeper. You're welcome.

Oh not again. **Facepalm** You really would not miss the chance to behead Rohr if you are allowed within 5 feet of Rohr... Looolll

And isn't it kinda hasty giving up on Yahaya and Chidera Ezeh? Relax Man. I too am worried for them but I can't say I have given up .. at least not yet. Time is a tricky thing.

And on K.Nwakali's invite. Well, you can see that Rohr didn't even give K. Nwakali a proper look-in in the AM role when invited and have quickly dropped the lad. I think he wanted to satisfy Nigerians' call for the lad by including him in one list of invitees. And even right now, I have to say that he still needs to work and work really hard because clearly the lad has the talents to rise and become more than we think. But for now, I will pick Ebere Eze over K.Nwakali because both have the same level of talents but one of them is far more exposed and experienced enough already.. and that is Ebere Eze.

The first and only thing I criticised in that list was the absence of a natural CAM (aside Iwobi listed as Forward) in Mikel's absence. Rohr missed a plot there.
What stops him from including Ebere "baller10" Eze?? Especially as K.Nwakali was dropped and rightly so. K.Nwakali will come good with time I believe but right now, Ebere Eze is ready. Oviemuno Ejaria is also looking good.

Anyway, abeg take am easy ooo... Lol... Take am easy before you see yourself strangling Rohr in your dream... grin grin grin

Hmmmm... Obiora Nwankwo. Remember him? He played 80 mins for Boavista in the Portuguese topflight, the Liga NOS.

Well, he helped his side to a 1-0 win. I think he was part of our Afcon 2013 winning side. Not suggesting anything oooooo **raises hands** I just dey drop small report on a forgotten name still doing his bits in a top European league. Lol

Meanwhile, Simy is not in action for Crotone. I honestly haven't done my research into why but I will find out soon enough.

It is still not a crime to be optimistic for every young lad. The reality is that not all will make it but until that is established, I believe in showing faith in all as they grow becos being pessimistic or negative about them will do no good at all. That is my take.

give him a role in which attacking midfield position? bros go sleep abeg grin grin. age grade football is different from that of international footie. the kelechi nwakali i have seen play couple of times will be best suited as a central midfielder than an attacking midfield because he lacks the agility, flair and pace to succeed in that role.

he should first play in that role for almighty porto B before he can get such chance with the eagles. for now our best bet for the AM position are ebere eze and alex iwobi. ejaria will even do better in that role than nwakali jnr. atleast he has played couple of times in that role in GROWN MEN"S FOOTBALL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Nwakali has been in Nigeria since the last FIFA window. It has to do with his visa issues. But its sorted out now cos he traveled back on Friday or so.

I saw a comment or a few condemning Iwobi for not being among the goals or assists in Arsenal's super win today.

Rating Iwobi poor because he didn't bag a goal or an assist is missing out on the role of Iwobi in Arsenal's brilliant opening against Fulham. Look at that first goal alone..... Iwobi got a second-assist, what we call the assist before the assist (aka pass before the final pass). It was not the first time he was doing such. He has repeated same playing pattern in previous games for Arsenals. He has as much second assists as he does in his assists stats.

Right now, he has 1 goal and 4 assists predominantly playing from the LW for Arsenal in about 8 games in all comps. His start to the season has been brilliant and he can only get better and more monstrous.

Just recently, he was crowned with "Skill of the day" in the Europa League matchday Two. His outrageously crazy nutmeg against Qarabag was picked by the official Europa league site as the skill of the day. Against Fulham, he was just having fun and shows superb class again, being involved in every good for Arsenal before he was subbed off. He even produced yet another crazy nutmeg. Iwobi is on fire people but he is only getting started... And I think Unai Emery is doing something truly beautiful with one of Nigeria's finest young footballers in Iwobi and I only hope it can get better.

So Biko, open your eyes and see... Iwobi is only going to get better. Yes, He did not score today or later a direct assist but his stats so far read 1 goal and 4 assists in all competitions and was classy today again being involved in Arsenal's fine forward plays and a few of their goals.

Iwobi is beginning to reveal another side to his Okocha Genes... *winks* Give it time.. He is doing really well.

Well I do more of lowering my expectations than being pessimistic.

I like seeing U17 players progress through the ranks from the academies to professional football and assess them at the U20 & or U23 before sticking my neck out.

Taiwo Awoniyi played 66 mins in Gent's 5-1 home loss to Genk in the Belgian Jupiler league. By the time he was substituted, they were three goals down.

Anderson Esiti played for 44 mins as he came in as an early 2nd half sub for Gent also.

Philip Azango was not in the matchday squad for Gent.
