global version has mostly all frequency bands, supports Google play store with no China blooatware and multiple languages also has global rom preinstall by the company and support ota update, while global rom is basically Chinese version installed global rom by the retailers so as to reduce Chinese bloatware and receive ota update which often delays also to support Google play store because Chinese version doesn't support it because is against the Chinese law, xiaomi recently announced that no more flashing of global rom on Chinese version and vise versa. so global version is better though it's costlier

Thank you Mr nobody I already updated again and it has solved the WhatsApp problem but the camera is still not clear. And I noticed some people are on miui 10.2.0 and am still on 10.1.0 even after updating twice.

My ogaS ....please my budget is 38k let's say 40k sha.... But I yaff confuse on which phone to buy... I am into performance and battery since this is Nigeria....but I nor see any xiaomi phone da reach my budget,its only sd425 redmi 5a da am seeing....buh am thinking of getting a refurbished lg g5 on aliexepress(will buy extra battery for it too), and then leeco le 2 is na showing face,but d battery is nor removable (3000mah),no headphone jack,no SD card slot,and people are saying d is is buggy and I don't have time for installing ROMs upada,and coolpad cool 1 is na toasting me with 4000mah and headphone Jack,but no updates and d camera is just like d le 2's own which is manageable sha....but d g5 camera ehn,chinsos..I can even use it to do shakara with s8.....but guys please abeg advice me...give me other options too wey I fit buy for below 40k.... Hi guys,please I need help on my Xiaomi note 5. I am using a verified ROM and I have been getting updates to upgrade to miui 10 like 3 time and I ignored but decided to do it yesterday. I can remember the last update I ignored was 1.7gb and the one I later updated yesterday was 560M and rebooted my phone. I normally charged my phone to 100% and meet 100 when I wake but this morning I got 90 and I can't post pictures on my dual WhatsApp, everything keeps crashing. both have the infamous glo lte band 28 [wch is major reason am going for either of them] both 4gb/64, umidigi is mtk, while xiaomi is snapdragon 635, am swayed more towards the xiaomi, but the 10k cost difference is making me consider umidigi [arrrgh, i dislike the name, sounds kina aba-ariaria ish ;], its a gift so no shakes

lolz, ok 59k, na if u buy direct from jjumia or aliexpress, the 65k na macb price, seems he has 2 units on ground. the redmi note 5 AI is 208 dollars on ebay, and it wud be in hands within 10days. the cheapest i saw,
na real dilenma, not much of a fan of nfc nor wireless charging, i even prefer infrared+radio to them. too bad umidigi isnt on gsmarena, i like using the comparism page on gsm arena
