Icon4s: Rohr's decision to continue using Shehu at RB is plain stupidity . Shehu was only drafted to the RB role due to our lack of option in the role.. Now we have enough of them and Shehu doesn't play that role at club level.... 1 Like |

Danielnino00: I look at players' individual ability, not clubs and leagues. Ekong, with all due respect to him has not been very superb with us in recent games. Inaccurate passes, poor set-piece defending, occasional dangerous marking e.g the PK against Croatia. And his height isn't exactly helping matters. I've watched a couple of Ajayi's games and I think we should try him. |

Curtisaxel7: this was not how I arranged it o... the whole thing got scattered... what I meant is, these are the people I would love to see in the starting 11, not drawing any formation |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TEGADR: 1:35pm On Oct 08, 2018 |
before you all come for my head... I didn't draw any formation.. I only gave a list of players I would to see in the starting 11.. I would for a 4-3-2-1 |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 1:40pm On Oct 08, 2018 |
Danielnino00: It is not stupidity. If he plays Shehu at RB on Saturday it means he has not really had enough confidence on Aina in that position. Remember Aina has not played RB for Nigeria. And so if he does not have much confidence in Aina for a game this crucial, he has to fall back to status quo which is Shehu. And I am sure you know Shehu will deliver the goods in a game like this especially if he is not played as a WB but as a RB. |

TEGADR: OK, no wahala. We are all here to exchange ideas. No need to feel bad about it. OK let's see now, using the 4-3-2-1 u just proposed above represent the players set up like u did before and at least just to prove some people wrong already. |

Kenneth Omeruo played yesterday. He came on as a first half substitute for injured Unai Bustinza. It is good some of our defenders are getting play time in top leagues. Hope Balogun gets game time in the EPl else we should replace him asp. No bench warmers should be given leverage over performing ones. |

Icon4s: Now the above in bold is part of why Chriskels will not hesitate to shoot Rohr at first sight. Shehu ahead of an in-form Aina? Chriskels will definitely have Rohr for breakfast... Chriskels be like, "Shehu ahead of Aina? Just try it first...." 3 Likes

Nigeria vs Libya lineup certainties: **You don't need a prophet, seer, or a member of the cross and star brotherhood to tell you that in the absence of injury: 1. Uzoho will start in goal. 2. Ekong and Balogun will start in Central defence. 3. Idowu will start at LB. 4. Ndidi will start in Midfield. 5. Onazi will start in Midfield. 6. AHMED MUSA WILL START (AND EVEN CAPTAIN THE TEAM). 7. Ighalo will start whether we like it or not... Lol 8. The other positions such as AM, RW, and RB are where we MAY (and surely will, in at least 2 positions) see changes due to competitive reasons. One of the 3 players that played in these positions vs Seychelles may retain their place or maybe not. Time will tell... But Numbers 1-7 are 100% certain in the absence of injuries. It is simply what Gernot Rohr would do on October 13. O pari 7 Likes |

Curtisaxel7: It is not this kind of game that Rohr will start all 3 of Jamilu, Aina and Ajayi. All 3 may not even start. I only see Aina as having a better chance than the other 2 to play that game. 2 Likes |

I prefer ajayi to ekong, ajayi is confident on the ball balogun is good to go etebo, I dunno for the guy, haven't seen any spectacular performance recently ola Aina, brain idowu good to go, tho brain wasnt good against Seychelles ndidi has always been top notch, onazi should control the mf, I believe for his experience else he's not improving.. iwobi as an Am , sharp play maker kalu and musa on the wings with their pace will really outsmart the defenders Isaac success as a lone striker |

komekn: All I can say is Nigeria politics is LOCAL. If you want to win any political post either you are a grassroot politicians, you have a godfather, even money can't assure you success in Nigeria politics. They know that is how they need to go about their winning any elections. Ask yourself who are the voters? You think the working class? . There is more to Nigeria politics than what you can see. That's is their structure. That's what win elections for them. |

Joebie: Nigeria politics is local... It needs total overhauling but who will do it? Since inception of democracy in Nigeria corruption has been inthe front burner and buying of votes, rigging had been their since inception. It is not new if you follow the history of Nigeria very well you will understand is one of the reason that leads to first coup in Nigeria. . There is more to Nigeria politics than what you are seeing and saying . Why do you think they allow Nigerians to be drenched in poverty? Now poverty capital of the world. Come 2030 Nigeria will be place where most poverty pple lived. Cos poverty is one the tools in the hand of Nigeria politicians. Their structure is not be for Betterment of citizens but for their own good... If those people want to bring meaningful change, they should join the two most powerful party in Africa and wrestle the power with them. Or all the lesser presidential candidates should form an alliance select one person and form a formidable party that will be a third Force. Wait have you heard about PACT? 1 Like |
