Too Good: Abdullahi Shehu – A massive 1-0 win for Bursaspor against mid-table Ankaragucu was enough to see the struggling Green Crocodiles move out of the relegation zone. Shehu, deployed on the right wing, played a pivotal role in securing Samet Aybaba’s side their first win of the season at the eighth attempt. The wideman was rarely second best in his duels over the course of the game, won the ball back for his side when necessary and even had an impact in the final third by creating a couple of goalscoring opportunities to cap off a good individual outing. 1 Like |

those two excerpt were copied from goal.com, on their weekly review of Nigerian players for the weekend, the reason I posted it is for those that will call for Rhor's head when he starts Shehu ahead of Aina |

Likely line up Uzoho Aina........Ekong......Balogun........Idowu Ndidi.........Onazi Kalu....................Iwobi..................Musa Ighalo For my preferred lineup, I would rather have a natural left footer at LB..Idowu can't deliver any meaningful cross on that left back. I would prefer Etebo to Onazi due to the formers dynamism. Would prefer nacho or success in place of Ighalo.. |

krattoss: nah....dude call ups is becoming stale. I was expecting him to call up eze prior now and also try other options in the attack rather than sticking with misfiring Ighalo. the old man should be more flexible and open minded. why put Blessing eleke on the standby list and leave out eze? or why call up nwakali when you have a better player in eze? I bet you...had it been eze was in Germany he would have gotten a call up since. rohr need to brace up and be more ambitous |

bengine: take these word from me... rohr will.never put iwobi in the 10 role... the old German will rather play etebo or nancho there. watch out....he will never learn.... playing nancho there is even better.....than playing etebo in the AM role....but iwobi still the best for that role. 2 Likes |

Mickael2: If you noticed this much detail, you would have noticed that Iheanacho refused to get into the box when Vardy was there, meaning they are not a strike partnership. Furthermore, the whole team, except Chilwell, Ricardo and Ndidi, their big performers were AWOL. Everton pressed them so much, played them so much, attacked them so much that I forgot they were home. Everton had 17 shots, 8 on target, Leicester, the home team had 8 shots in total. Don't scapegoat the brother. 1 Like 1 Share |

TheLoneCitizen: I also watched the match till morgan got a red card, then the coach made a "tactical" change in qoute by removing Nacho, to be fair Leicester was having the upper head prior to the equalizer and was more in possession, he was more like a midfielder in that match, like I said immediately that red card I knew an attacker had to give way cos the coach will definitley want to hold on to the game. But unfortunately it didnt go well. |

sontoly: Contrastingly, brother, Leicester never had the upper in that game. Iheanacho is usually the first attacker to give way except he's having a terrific game. Vardy is their biggest player, Madison is the golden boy (and he's English). But truly Iheanacho was poor in that game, and so was majority of the team. |

BascoVanVeli: As a striker sha you don't 'think' you just follow up, if there is a rebound you put it away, that is the work of a poacher, that could have been an easy goal for him but he stopped |

TEGADR: But you have to be a good player to be playing in a good league for a good team. You think it is sentiment that is keeping Ekong at Udinese? So because of a cameo you think Ajayi is now better than Ekong? Great |

kellycute: Supporting mediocrity? I do not understand how I am supporting mediocrity here. So playing Iheanacho over Ighalo is a world class move? As in Ighalo is mediocre but Iheanacho is top class? I have made it very very clear that they way you all blindly support a player and then diss the other because you want that player to start is not fair at all. Based on national team form, both have been very very poor so what exactly is your reason for saying that Iheanacho should start over Ighalo? Or is it club form? Do you know how many goals Ighalo scored this past weekend? I said that based on Iheanacho's last match he shouldn't be starting ahead of Ighalo, also based on his own last match how is that mediocrity? By the way I have watched five of Iheanacho's games this season and he was average in one then poor in the rest but even then I only commented on one match so I don't know where you are getting this idea that I comment on all hisbbad games, if I watch his good game then I sure will. 1 Like |

TheLoneCitizen: What is a strike partnership? When we were small we used to call them 8 & 9, now that number 8 plays more like a midfielder. Do you see Messi and Suarez playing together as strike partners? You would notice that Messi, who is the 8, will drop into midfield but still be agile enough to run into the box to finish up the chances. Now let us dissect that goal that Leicester scored. Iheanacho played a one two with Ricardo and instead of continuing his run he got tired midway and just decided to watch what Ricardo would do, that is in contrast to one of the goals Rooney scored during his Man U days, he had a give and go with Mani and sprinted all the way to the opposition box to tap home the return pass, this is case one. Then there was also the Vardy instance where Iheanacho got too tired to make a run into the box from so far out, there was another such instance, about two more actually but I cannot recall vividly well so I won't comment on them. Then there was an instance where Vardy crossed the ball and Iheanacho was the only one running into the box, it was intercepted by a defender anyways. Now if you look at all the isolated instances you would realise that those times he didn't run into the box was clearly because he didn't have enough speed and/or stamina to maintain his speed so I said he should work on his stamina, but then what used to be his main weakness(that is his first touch) appears to have been worked upon although a lot more is needed. By the way the entire Leicester team is not my business, I am not their fan, I am concerned with the Nigerians there. If the players you mentioned all had good games then there is really no excuse for Nacho having a bad game. At least tick your own boxes so the blame won't come back to you 1 Like |
