I actually say an article where he said he prefers Nigeria to England but they took it down don't know why. Also Josh Maja should be invited he is on the rise. |

Icon4s: Nigeria might be a lot better off today if we never discovered oil.. We relied on agriculture in the past and our economy wasn't that bad... oil made our leaders lazy and greedy.. Oil made them neglect other sectors of the economy... There are many country out there who depend on agriculture and are doing quite well... 4 Likes |

tbaba1234: Despite all these do you know that mineral rich Anglophone nations like Sierra Leone and Liberia are ranked lower than the poorest Francophone nations in terms of per capita income? France has a great influence on their economies. Yes they pay taxes to cover for the infrastructures provided by their colonial masters but this French interest in their economy makes them better of than some Anglophone countries that are in total control of theirs. I agree with the military support and training but I even see it as being better than leaving it in the hands of corrupt dictators. |

TheSuperNerd: The writer is an olodo rabata because both don't play the same role. Simon is a LW while Samuel is a RW. How does that affect each other? Na wa ooooo. Simon is up against, Ahmed, Iwobi and Onyekuru while Samuel is up against Isaac Success. |

Danielnino00: I was expecting this argument to come up. Yes Agriculture supported our economy way back in the 50s and 60s. But that was just adequate for that time and generation. Have you checked what our GDP was then? Nigeria was largely rural as at then. Dominated by peasants that cultivated enough to feed their families without depending on salaries from Government work. Dependence on Agriculture would not have been sustained. The South Eastern region was leading in the area of Oil Palm production followed by the Midwest. Where are the arable forests today that would have carried the Oil Palm plantation that will both feed the nation and form the GDP for the economy. Same goes for the Cocoa from the Western Region. Do you think the yams from the middle belt would be enough to feed a population of 200Million people today and still form s large part of our GDP? What is the economic value of Cotton and groundnuts currently? We are talking about agricultural revolution, agricultural revolution. No matter how the current governments try it would be difficult to make Agriculture the main stay of our economy. Some other countries are investing in technology, and human intelligence. Look at Japan and China. That is the way to go in the 21st century. Investing in Agriculture is good for food security but not as a main stay of the economy. The World is moving. 3 Likes |

Lol... Calm down and consider the stand of the writer. He says this under the light of Ahmed Musa being a sure starter in the team now especially from the left. Simon Moses is one of Rohr's key players without a doubt and can function on both flanks even though he is predominantly a LW. Remember Simon is two footed I believe even though he uses his right more often. So now, in the presence of an Ahmed Musa on the left... Where does that leave Simon? On the bench or on the right where a newbie in Kalu started from in his first game? That is the perspective. forgiveness: 1 Like |

Icon4s: You are right sir.. What I meant was that we would still be better off today if we hadn't discovered oil.. Aside agriculture, our leaders would have put more effort in other sectors... That would have been a huge boost for us.. The discovery of oil was a blessing and at the same time a curse... |

TheSuperNerd: On the bench. That's all. The boy played well in the last game and it's expected he rewards his hard work with another start. If at all Rohr wants a change in the RW, then he should give it to Success not Simon. |

Indeed Simon may start from the bench but it is not that certain. And also, Simon has been a regular in the team and is also a key player. So there is no way Rohr will consider Success over Simon at RW even though Simon is predominantly a LW. Besides Success was invited as a CF not a RW. This is why there is no Simy on the list. Simon can play with both feet comfortably well. He can play both left wing and right wing even though he is majorly a LW (which sees him often cut into his stronger right foot). So it is in this light that he stands a small chance of starting on the right just in case Rohr benches Kalu. forgiveness: 1 Like |

forgiveness: Let me refer u back to our game against Zambia in Ndola where Iwobi played LW and Simeon RW..Against south Africa in Uyo it was the same..against Cameroon and Zambia in Uyo he also played RW though he switched to LW with Moses sometimes. I watched one of d game he played for Levante this season where he came in the second half and played RW .. Maybe he used to play predominantly at LW in Gent, but for the super eagles under Rohr,it's mostly RW. . |

Icon4s: My dear, their past is what it is, this is the present. Compared to the recently passed era of theirs, maybe they are still a step or two behind in terms of personnels but not as a team. And as downward as u claim they are, they are presently one of the best 3 teams in Africa. They are up there with Senegal and Morocco. To me, talent wise, they even trump Morocco. They realised their mistakes and are making corrections. yes they already have the players but yet, they aint resting on their oars, they are still as aggressive as they were when this rebuilding exercise started, now they can boast of a great dept compared to many Afroteams. Just check their CD options; Baily Manchester United Gbamin is wanted by Arsenal and is tipped as the rep for Baily at ManU come January. Gnagnon Sevilla Djidji Torino Traore Angers Lamine Strassborgh Dabila Lille Bamba cardif Boly Wolves Et al If I list their options in the midfield, trust me person go faint 1 Like |
