For now make I no talk about 21 year old Soualiho Meite who alongside Nkoulou, has been the best player for Torino in the Serie A this season or should I talk about the boy wonder, Yan Karamoh on loan to Bordeaux from inter Milan?

Even Jeremie Boga has been a hit for Sassuolo in the Serie A.

Read about 21 year old Christian Kouame of Genoa also in the Serie A

Rohr is becoming a fraud....
dude is like a chamelon.
he was best suited for nations like Niger, Madagascar etc....
he has no ambition...as a coach...such a coward...
he can't even say if he win the upcoming afcon..patiently waiting for his excuse.

You talk down on Etebo who was Marvellous at the World cup? A World cup same CIV failed to qualify for with all their "World class" midfield generals abi? Lol

Look Chris... I know all about the strengths and weaknesses of all major African sides and even the ones who are giant killers like Capeverde. The problem you have is that you are too obsessed with anything Ivorian and Senegalese that you look down on your own.

So who is Doukoure, Angban and Die compared to Etebo? An Etebo that shone like a million stars at Russia 2018?!! Funny.

Who is Ahoulou and Sangare to Ndidi and Onazi? It is only Seri and Kessie that gets a mention as real Ivorian midfiled Lords there abeg compared to the likes of Ndidi, Onazi and Etebo.

Even Joel Obi plays in Serie A. Which Ivorian midfielder in Ligue 1 is his mate?

I could go on but you clearly look down on what is present in the Super Eagles. It is just too obvious.

ChrisKels:

Guy stop wasting ur energy on this matter, we have a criminal as a coach. Remember the blind bat nearly undone everything he did during the world cup qualifiers by refusing to play Ebuehi against Algeria. The scam of a coach instead opted for an ineligible Shehu.

When I look at that man's CV, I marvel at how low our football has gone that we had to hire this crook to decimate what is left of our lovely team. I want that octogenarian out!!

Here is the list of ivory coast midfield, check how beefed they are at every department in the midfield and compare it to the Ogu, Onazi, Etebo, Joel we Parade as midfielders;

[b]Jean Seri is about the best in his position right now in the Epl

Frank Kesie has turned to a beast under Gattuso in AC Milan

The devil himself, ibrahim Sangare is wanted by a host of Europe's giants and is reffered to as Yaya and Essien rolled in one

Seko fofana is the main driving force for Udinese in the Serie A and is already atracting interest from Napoli and BVB

Serge N'guessan is balling so hard for Nancy every weekend in the Ligue 1

Cheik Doukoure is hitting it hard every weekend for Levante
in the Laliga

Jean Eudes Aholou is running the show for Monaco in the ligue1

Serey Die is a lynchpin, a cult hero for Swiss giant Basel

Even Angban Victorien has been a hit for Mertz

For now make I no talk about 21 year old Soualiho Meite who alongside Nkoulou, has been the best player for Torino in the Serie A this season or should I talk about the boy wonder, Yan Karamoh on loan to Bordeaux from inter Milan?[b]

Guess the average age of this midfielders

And somebody is here talking about Ogu, Onazi, Joel, Agu, Agbo and even Etebo mtcheew

oooooooo men! see quality for midfield and we are here celebrating john ogu and onazi while over hyping a porto B player as well hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. it amazes me the way some shrugs off the issue of getting some euro born lads as if we have existing players in the current super eagles playing for the likes of real madrid and co hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

and won't it make more sense if the quality personnel needed for the replacement of the present players in the future are incorporated into the team by having them train together with their supposed predecessors and understudy them as well?

england coach southgate just called young dortmund's winger sancho and 19 year old derby county midfielder who is on loan from chelsea to the englnd squad, can you tell me the motive behind their call ups?

Sebi when they called Kelechi Nwakali, some people here , may be u were one of them too, were tearing their shirts on top the boy matter. At Least he has trained with the team just as you have opined above. The coaches have seen him more closely and passed their judgment. So little by little we assess others too.

I perfectly understand the transition u are trying to imply. But this must be done with care so as not to upset the balance in the team. Like Mikel is winding down and Iwobi looks good to step in. I hope we can get Eberechi Eze too. Ogu and Joel may also likely not make Qatar 2020, so by then we would have obviously replaced them.

charlesemeka85:
Arsenal legend Ian Wright reckons that Alex Iwobi's brilliant start to the season played a part in Arsenal withdrawing the four-year contract they had offered to 2016 European Championship star Aaron Ramsey.

Iwobi emerged as the game-changer when he replaced the Welshman in the 63rd minute of the Gunners 2-0 win over Watford on September 29 and manager Unai Emery rewarded him with a place in the starting line-up in the last game before the international break while Ramsey was named amongst the substitutes.

"We've seen him (Ramsey) in the Euros dominating when he was absolutely fantastic, we've seen the season (2013-14) he has with Arsenal scoring 20-plus goals and was amazing, we've seen he can score in big games, winning cup finals," Wright told BBC Radio 5 live.

''But in respect of a consistent performer for the season, making the difference in the league when he's needed? When was the last time he's done that?

"Are they going to pay the kind of money he probably wants when you've got someone coming through like Iwobi?

"The impact he's made in the last few games Iwobi, coming on and he's actually replaced Ramsey and he's made an impact.

"Maybe (Arsenal manager) Unai Emery has seen that."

Iwobi has made 106 appearances for Arsenal, scoring 10 goals with 22 assists, since he broke into the first team in the 2015-16 campaign.
Is it the same Iwobi some people have written off before the start of the season Or another one?

They told us how he will struggle to get playing time under Emery-the new Manger. Oga ooo.

Iwobi is far ahead of all his SEs compatriots within the same age bracket. But has not been receiving fair reviews from the media, fans and the SEs gaffer. Wasn't happy when he only managed 80mins of action through out the world cup and players like Kelechi and Ighalo who have been below par for the past 1year clocked more game time on the pitch.

Dude has weathered so many tough things during his hard times and now he is been refined to the desired product we've all been longing for.

Asides Ebere Eze, which midfielders(elligible to play for Nigeria) under 21years of age do u think Rohr should consider for this training/exposure and transition u have proposed?

Bros, leave Ndidi out of this, I no mention him because I rate him highly unlike the other pretenders hiding behind him. Only he and iwobi can start for the ivory Coast in the midfield. Gbam!! Can the Almighty Joel and Onazi dust Fofana's boots at present? Are u sure u have been following Ekong and Aina in the Serie A bro? In addition, they said he is useless from the wings. And yet most of his assists this season have come from the wings.

This mass caping of players, I am sure u know will come at a price? Because for u to accommodate them for this capping process some other players in the team need to give way from the match day squad.

What if in the game u plan to cap lets say Josh Maja, u may have dropped a second choice striker for the match day squad just to accommodate Josh. And then u find ur team trailing. U know quite well that u cannot really vouch that Josh can make the difference, u only added him to the match day squad to cap him. The coach may have shot himself on the foot there.

leave pple wey sentiment dey blind finish. dead woods like ogu, onazi and joel are not meant to still be a part of the present super eagles team. we really lack quality in the middle and should not ignore few players out there that can add that needed substance. i aggre that the inclusion of this kids should be gradual but we have to start now before it is too late

The bolded show that the NFF knew better than you at some point. I don't think there is anyone to blame here, especially not the NFF because they brought the players to train with the teams and they cannot call up players for the coach, we have been fighting against that so I cannot believe that u are using it as a point to bash the NFF. Why should they be involved in who comes to the team? What do they pay the coach for?

You are one of the more experienced contributers.

I am surprised at your proposition, do you really think that the only person that selects players is Rohr.

If you do then I wonder where you have been

Still none came close to doing what Etebo did at the World cup. wink Etebo trumps many of them whether you like it or not. He only made the move to Stoke before the mundial but we all saw what he is about. He did it at the Olympics and he did again at the World cup. Please what have those ones done? Etebo trumps most of them jare.... This is not even being patriotic. It is calling a spade a spade.

And then to Onazi. Well, I know you get problem with Onazi right from time so it is not a surprise. Me too, I criticize Onazi for his flaws but it does not take away what a decent midfielder he is. This is a guy who played a couple of seasons at Lazio and balled hard. He even won the Coppa Italia with them. He is an African Champion too. Biko how Onazi come be mate to Ahoulou and most of the rest bikonu? Seko Fofana is good and young but Biko Onazi trumps him. You only say this because Fofana plays for Udinese. I have watched both players abeg... Seko is not so special... Onazi edges him.

Ahoulou is at Monaco... Big deal!!! A Monaco that is now a relegation-threatened team? A team that has been stripped of most of their star quality and brought to Average? Of course Ahoulou will get into such a side naa. This Monaco is not the same anymore. They are poor. So poor infact. No more Mbappe, Lemar, Bakayoko, Mendy, Fabinho, Bernardo Silva and they are seriously struggling.

Only Ndidi and Iwobi can start in the CIV Midfield... Na lie be that ooo... because even Etebo go displace Serey Die. Etebo is a box to box monster and more technically gifted than Die... Die can goan die on the bench. Him no reach Etebo Biko...

Joel Obi is still a quality player Chris... Yes he messed up his return to the Super Eagles but you don't buy/get his level of experience and exposure cheaply. Joel is still in the Serie A and doing well enough. I don't consider him a starter for us and was even not going to mind if Rohr dropped him after that England game but still, I must be truthful... Joel Obi is better and higher in class and quality than most of the names you reeled out there for CIV especially in Ligue 1.
If he was not good, he won't remain in serie A even when he was put up for sale.

**Pauses for now**

Stop looking down so disdainfully on your own because of Ivorian Obsession. You hype them too much. They failed woefully with Seri and Kessie at the Afcon and the WCQs. Abeg, I follow this team so well. They are not even close to the class of their previous Golden Generation just yet.

One thing that irks me most is our inability to learn from our past mistakes and we are hell bent on repeating them all over again and we expect to make progress.

SMH.

Prior to 2014 worldcup and post 2013 AFCON our strikers then(Emenike and Ideye) were experiencing goal drought we kept faith with them and were expecting a miracle from them at the Mundial. Late Keshi then dropped Ideye for a certain Shola Ameobi(a player who had 1 professional goal in 2years). These two players were preferred ahead of a red hot Obagoal who was turning heads in the MLS for Seattle Sounders. We all knew how the whole thing panned out. We qualified cos of luck and nothing more(to those who will like to dispute that should remember that, had Dzeko's goal had not been ruled for offside, your guess is as good as mine)

Fast forward to 2018 same scenerio played out both Ighalo and Kelechi were poor for the national team and we were all hoping they will hit form at the World Cup. You and I know how that too ended.

My major concern now is us sticking to these guys despite them not delivering post Russia the way we did with Emenike. Someone needs to sound some notes of warning to Rohr. We seem to be towing the same part again.

The federation too are not exempted from this attitude. They toyed with Alaba in 2007 today it is Eze I just hope we won't look back and regret it.

Make I stop here jare.

I'll like both Ighalo and Nacho to be excused from the national team if they both fail to deliver this coming double header. No one has the sole ownership to the national team.

Asides Ebere Eze, which midfielders(elligible to play for Nigeria) under 21years of age do u think Rohr should consider for this training/exposure and transition u have proposed?

well said bro

Wishing them all the best.

It’s simple. Keep inviting him just to train with the team.

And I say again, we need a very serious U21 team. Or we call it a SE Team B. We need to give these young players real international friendlies to test their readiness.

Kai only Rohr. Rohr don suffer. Let th lion Roar and show them he is not just like the other animals.

As in eh... Rohr don hear am for hia. Me sef dey vex for Rohr oooo for not including a CAM in that list (Iwobi was listed as a forward after all). It would have seen Ebere Eze come into the picture but shaa... Make I just dey observe matter from that angle.

But to knack Rohr dey call am names... Haba nooo... But clearly Chriskels go shoot Rohr at first sight. Lol

i will pick a player who plays consistently in a decent club as monaco and in a top league like the ligue 1 than dead woods playing for trapzonspor and hapoel beeer sheva in the turkish and isreali league. i only rate players who play for any of the top 3 teams in turkey which are galatasaray, fenebahche and besiktas, others are pretenders to me

if onazi still has it why didn't any decent club seek for his signature even when he was owned bag log of wages by trapzonspor? oooh i forgot birmigham showed interest hahahahahahahahahahaha
