Payoneer Disabled The 'make A Payment' option? by Subudu(m): 7:03am On Feb 14, 2018 |
Yesterday, a friend told me that Payoneer had disabled the 'Make A Payment' option on his account. I thought it was unique to his account until I checked mine and it was disabled too. I think they disabled it on the accounts of most Nigerians. With the new development, how do we withdraw our money out through payoneer? I currently have $1k+ in my account and I can't be withdrawing it through ATM. Does anybody have an idea on an alternative way of getting out payoneer dollars in Nigeria apart from using the ATM option? |

As it is now, you can only withdraw via your bank account linked to the Payoneer card. |

If you have up to 1k, you can withdraw directly to your Nigerian savings account or domiciliary account. That's pretty straightforward. |

Slimdoug: I have a payoneer account but I've never used it and I want to start doing so. I have linked my GTB naira account to it, but my question is, since my GTB account is in NGN can dollars in my payoneer be transferred directly to my naira account for onword withdraw via naira ATM? Pardon my ignorance, I've not used payoneer to withdraw before. |
Re: Payoneer Disabled The 'make A Payment' option? by Slimdoug(m): 10:14pm On Oct 09, 2018 |
FESTAC101: Sure. You can withdraw straight to your Nigerian bank account. But the catch is, you can't withdraw less than $1,000. They will also charge you $30 or so per withdrawal. Again, if you withdraw to your Naira savings account, your bank will do the exchange on your behalf for about 332/$ instead of 360/$. So, the best option will be to get a domiciliary dollar account from your Nigerian bank which you can receive your funds into, and then exchange for $360/$ with a local exchanger. 1 Like |

timiyoyo55: Yes. You can still receive ACH transfer with your designated US account number with payoneer. Once you have a balance, even less than $1000, you can do ATM withdrawals with your card. |

You can withdraw your payoneer funds by using the services of sendvalu or transferwise. Google search them and make sure you have a valid means of ID eg PVC or Drivers license |

Your assertion that they disabled most Nigerians make a payment option is also wrong. Millions of Nigerians like myself still have functioning MAP. they disable the feature randomly |

Subudu: Just checked this morning. The "make a payment" option is still available on my account and is working perfectly. Maybe your account has been restricted due to suspicious transfers. |

Slimdoug: Hi Slimdoug, thanks for this response. I have a question please. I have $317 in my Payoneer account and would love to withdraw $300. I don't have a dorm account but my in law has. My question is, can I add my in laws dorm account to my payoneer account and send the money to him? And will he be paid in dollars? If yes, since it's not up to $1k, will his bank in Nigeria pay him the $300 in dollars? I would really appreciate your response. God bless you. |

Where did you see that you can't withdraw less than $1k? Can you please share the link. My account only shows that it will cost $15 per transaction to withdraw to bank account has my send option was also disabled. Slimdoug: |
