This is what most dont get.buhari margin of victory in nw will neutralize ss/se votes.amechi, ogboru and akpabio has already reduced pdp votes in rivers, akwa ibom and delta that usually give them the largest votes.
Buhari had the same margin in NW in 2011, what did it do? Amaechi was the DG of Buhari's campaign team in 2015, how did he help him defeat PDP in Rivers then? And that was when people thought Buhari was a man of integrity, imagine what will happen now that he has been shown up as a fraud.

Anyway, as far as these elections are concerned, may the best rigger win.

but unfortunately that's how we find ourselves in this country.
we always reap where they've not sown.

the yorubas over the years have benefited more politically from the scheme of things because they tend to be smarter...and crafty.

you don't act like a wounded lion all the time...

you make sacrifice to get things....

if the ibos really want buhari out...come next year...they should be willing to sacrifice these VP position otherwise they will suffer the more...because buhari can never change.

If you have been reaping where you did not sow then get ready because that will no longer continue. Let us see who is suffering the most between the average Igbo and average whatever tribe.

Yes, most Igbos will never dream of voting for Buhari even with a gun to their forehead, but there are other parties and also an option of boycotting the elections if PDP betrays us and that would be a disaster for Atiku and PDP.
For 16 years of PDP rule, none of the top 2 positions went to the SE despite the unflinching support from the region, now some people are still suggesting rubbish.
I don't know why Yorubas want to reap where they did not sow

Aah, were! Atiku sowed in APC but reaping in PDP. That should be your headache

Most of these arguments are quite myopic. Atiku has enjoyed Igbo support for a long time not because of the promise of an Igbo VP, although it has encouraged support but it was never the primary instigator. Atiku has enjoyed SE support because of his stance on reformation of the country and his seemingly empathetic understandings of the Igbo claims of marginalisation.

With that being said Igbos might still give atiku tangible support, although the way things are moving, there seems to be a growing support for the likes of Moghalu.

In all honesty I've being a PDP supporter for a while but I cant hide the fact that I'm a bit disappointed at their resolve.. I feel that atiku has no chance of victory and moreso I wouldn't feel comfortable actually voting for this man given his track record, at least buhari before assuming office had a slightly better public opinion.

If only the people here actually knew the thoughts going through the minds of the average Nigerian, they wouldn't waste so much time online arguing.

And u think the whole of the 14 million votes in south west are yorubas abi?

If he gives his vp to south west, he will still not win south west becus of Tinubu and Osinbajo. except Tinubu joins him.

He will not win the election if he gives his VP to South west.. Igbos and south south will simply reduce the number of voters, south west will stilll not give him their entire votes. In fact, APC will get more votes in South west even though Atiku gives his VP to south west. The best here is for pdp leaders in south west to understand and work with Atiku for a juicy position when he wins..

The south west just want to destroy everything becus the igbos I know will simply use political apathy. Remember, igbos plenty in the north, in the west and in the south south.

I disagree with this....
should femi adesina adewumi be made his VP...I tell you he will get a reasonable number votes from the south west.
in a free and fair contest...he will win some states...like osun, ondo and ekiti....

You still don't understand anything obviously.

He would focus more on the SW because he feels the SE is already his.

This singular SELFISH action from him would effectively mean the SE would NEVER get a shot at Presidency for another 16 years if not more.

My focus is not on the SW but on the obvious choice he has to selfishly make so he can shore up on votes from the SW which happens to have twice the number of voters the South East has.

Numbers is everything at the polls and he needs those numbers badly grin

Even though he would still not get the needed numbers, he still has to try.

PDP has been forced because of Buhari to field a northerner due to high northern votes. They will also be forced to field a South westerner as VP due to high votes from SW as against the SE.

I am a political genious so don't argue with me in this area. The choices are already well defined cheesy

I hope we all recall when the Northerners were against GEJ. When Yar Adua died, the northerners were threatening GEJ to resign, but the south west stoop for him and even voted for him massively. But when he got into office he neglect Yorubas and he paid dearly for it.

Care to show me a recent poverty index rating?

I'll tell you who a loser is: a loser is one who is near insignificant in the scheme of things. The Igbos haven't been able to get it right politically and you think that isn't a sign of losing? SE presidency is a mirage. The earlier you wake up to smell the coffee, the better it is for you.

If you want to argue, do so intelligently and stop sounding like the average IPOB member! One minute you are lamenting about how your fathom offline Yoruba speakers are claiming the VP ticket should go to the SE, the next the Igbos didn't ask anyone for the Presidency, whereas the lapdog called Ohaneze has been issuing ultimata just as IPOB and MASSOB, alongside Ohaneze Youth Arm about not denying the Igbos presidency in 2023.

Refuse to be confused!
use Google, I cannot waste my data to show you what you are too scared to admit.

Like I said, focus on getting anybody to take Niger Delta seriously enough to clean up the mess there. The real losers are those who despite being in the scheme of things, cannot get enough attention to better their lot. The man who thinks himself significant, but doesn't know he is only so because he is the village jester, is one who should be pitied.

The merchant who only is interested in selling his products to the villagers and moving on, does not care if he is given a crown. As long as you give him your money, your crown is a meaningless piece of junk, especially if it belongs to a failed state

there will be nothing marginal about the NC votes. The only NC states that are core APC are Kaduna and Niger. The rest could go either way, even with those two states, there is a high percentage of non-indigenes, in Southern Kaduna and places like Suleja in Niger state, APC is likely to have it tough due to the high concentration of non-indigenes in these parts. Kogi is another NC state that will swing to Buhari, but they do not have a massive number of voters and are similar to Ekiti in size.

The rest of NC is up for grabs. Saraki will not allow APC smell Kwara, that one is sure. PDP will win massively there, even if he has to fight them thug for thug.

Benue and Plateau are wounded lions. Benue abandoned PDP largely because of Suswam and his failure to pay salaries back in 2015, but in Buhari's four years, these people have been massacred and the only thing they have gotten in return is their lands being invaded by soldiers who further harass them and present them for slaughter to Buhari's supposed brothers. APC will be defeated resoundingly in those places because dem no go even gree them rig
Wow,your good oh.kaduna is north west politically so leave them.buhari always wins niger massively so same will happen.your right on kogi.if you check, most kwarans despise saraki and want him out.buhari has never lost kwara heavily.they dont vote that much.there have always been killings in plateau, worse under pdp.in 2006,over 50,000 died there yet pdp still won.buhari lost plateau narrowly in 2015 with a pdp governor on seat.now,an apc governor is on seat.
The killings in benue didnt start under buhari but while buhari is despised, the most popular politician there is akume whose zone has the largest votes.ortom has failed woefully.in idoma land, minority lgas like oju and obi always vote apc.mind you akume always wins polls without even campaigning.
For nasarawa and abj,its tight.

But it is not going to be free and fair na. Those APC governors will rig hell out of the election.. And the votes he will get from those states will not be more than 3 million. That wont be enough for him. He could have stand a better chance to win south west if Tinubu and the current VP is not in place now.

He also needs to get the massive interests of the igbos to add to his votes. I think the PDP yorubas are not been fair to him. He will share the votes in south west, he will get between 40% to 45% of the votes. Now, if he doesnt get up to 90% compliance from the igbos who are also in other regions in millions, it will make Buhari win him easily.

Everybody is shouting pdp vp slot should go to southwest so that the party will garner some votes or maybe share the votes, obviously reason being that southwest is for APC.
in other sense can we now advise APC and Buhari to choose vp from southeast so that they can divide southeast vote too?
APC Rewarded southwest with vp because of their unflinching loyalty to the party, i think PDP should do the same. There is always a reward for loyalty in Politics.

Lastly, the only thing that can ginger any igbo man or woman to queque up and vote is when they know that one of their own is there. Igbos may hate buhari but they have already adjusted and wont forgive pdp if they spite by not giving them the vp slot. Southeast was the only vibrant opposition to buhari and apc govt even when pdp was still wobbling.

I WILL JEJELY VOTE MOGHALU IF IT COMES TO THAT.
