Atiku As An IPOB Candidate: The New BMC Propaganda Strategy by UnchangeableGod: 10:31pm On Oct 10, 2018
It is very clear that the ruling party is so much jittery over the emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the PDP presidential candidate for the 2019 presidential elections. This can be attested to via their reactions so far. From observation, the new strategy is to label Atiku an IPOB or Igbo candidate so that he can lose appeal from the rest of Nigerians. It is just like a man who desires to change his children's school because the current one is obviously not giving them the best. Having found an alternative which he deems a better school, he decides to take the children there. Then he overhears another parent who he is not in good terms with praising the new school and just because of that decides not to send his own child there just to spite his 'enemy'. What kind of parent is that? Every Nigerian -
Fulani, Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Tiv, Ijaw, Kanuri, Urhobo, Efik, Igala, Idoma, Ebira, Nupe etc stands to get a fairer and better deal should a more competent and visionary leader take over the affairs of the government. Enough of deceit. Enough of false promises. Enough of excuses. Enough of blame game. Enough of propaganda. Enough of 'holier than thou' without any benefits to the people. Let there be a positive change. By His grace, it shall be done.

buhari and his apc-led administration has nothing to offer nigeria but failure and debt

in just a space of 3.5 years nigeria is now ahead of india as the country with the highest number of poor people in the world and yet some blind supporters of this clueless admin see nothing wrong in this fact

if atiku defeats PMB next year, it will make the politicians understand that the masses are now wise and deserve to be treated with utmost respect. infact, it will make it near impossible for an unperforming political office holder to seek re-election

Shu.t up . You have now started preaching moral, Buahri supporters will serve it to you as you did. In 2015 you i.diots labelled PMB boko haram sponsors and an islamists to cause disaffection against him among people of the southeast, now you are served the taste of your own medicine. As far as we are concerned Atiku is the sponsor of the Cattle rustlers who kill Fulani herdsmen and he sponsored IPOB to cause trouble in Buahris government, you think we dont know?. Atiku will not get up to 10% of the votes in NE and NW even in Niger state. He should go aand meet his adopted region to vote for him.

The worst thing that can happen for people to continue supporting and voting underperforming politicians due to sentiments. It will embolden others not to perform but look for support and votes based on tribe, religion or partisan affiliation. Voting out underperforming public office holders will make others to sit up.

Those fools who think Atiku is popular in the north especially against someone like Buhari will recieve the shock of their lives. I havent seen any form of jubilation here unlike when Buhari won his primaries in 2015

Go and tell that to CAN, Aposteal suleiman and pastor Enenche and Oyedepo to stop poisoning the minds of Christians. Until then Northerners and Swners will also be told how PDP are sponsoring IPOB to destroy Nigeria since GEJ lost in 2015. I cant see you preaching to these your PDP miscreants her on the propaganda and clear false accusations against PMB. Its only this you can see.

Deep down, the heart of Nigerian politics is ethnocentric. It is only on the surface, on the skinlayer that we practice democracy. Atiku himself demonstrated that against Jonathan twice.

In 2011 Jonathan won PDP primary, Atiku was annoyed, he left and supported a co-fulani from North, Ribadu (ACN) against Jonathan. When Ribadu failled Atiku returned in 2013 to PDP to prepare to be PDP candidate in 2015. Jonathan was returned unopposed. This upset Atiku and he rushed kabakaba to APC in hope they will give him flag....but he lost to Buhari. He supported another co-fulani, Buhari, in 2015 to remove Jonathan and PDP. 2018 APC have no flag to give Atiku so he ran again kobokobo back to PDP. He has busied himself running back and forth and focused too strongly on becoming President that he had never prepared himself to share power with other ethnicity because in his spirit its fulani or nobody. Thats what got him in trouble when he tried OBJ with that shyyte. He knows he cannot play superiority game with Yoruba because we really dont need the center....we hsve APCfied our region. So who else can he use to shore up ego and popularity? Its Ibo! There is no desperation in Yoruba. Atiku must find a group hungry and desperate like himself to get his momentum off ground and moving. He must attach to Ibo or else he runs the risks of competing in 2023 with Osinbajo for APC flag, after another defection from PDP to APC.

Listen to yourself. Is it not in the interest of the same North for Atiku to start a first term in 2019, with the hope of a second in 2023 than for the incumbent to be rounding off a second term?
