If you like lie till thy kingdom come. You can't change the fact on ground.

See another twisting. You want to twist the argument again.

Please show me where I said Iwobi played for "Arsenal U23" before playing for Nigeria.

Abeg this is a better discussion than with that fact twister.

I'd rather discuss Zoology than to discuss football with that guy.

Yes, not many know that Panthera Leo (Lion) and Felis Catus (Domestic Cat) are both Cats which belong to the Family Felidae.

The difference is that the Panthero Leo is higher up the food chain than the Felis Catus.

My son asked one day "if we humans are at the top of the foot chain how come Lions easily over power and eat humans". O boy na wisdom I take answer that question that day o.

Simple. And I know you know but you are acting like you don't understand his point.

He used them to show that first team players can still be involved in scrimmages in a side's feeder team be it U-23 or a youth team like the U-19s or U-18s. Even Hazard have featured for the Chelsea U-23s abi na U-21s before when he was returning from an Injury setback. But it didn't mean he is a youth player. That is the simple point you are working so hard to ignore.

What is a fact? That Iwobi was already training with Arsenal's first team before he got invited?? Iwobi was not an academy player when he got called up by Oliseh.

Iwobi was a youth academy player who had not played one competitive game for Arsenal before he was called to the SE.

Do you know how players play with the first team in an EPL Academy, it's mildly indicate of progress it's not an absolute. I know players who even went on trial for the U23 trained with the first team. But in the end did not get a contract offer.

On what date was Alex Iwobi added to Arsenal first team squad? On the 15th of February 2016. Kpom grin

On what date did Alex Iwobi play for Nigeria national team? On the 8th of October 2015. Kpom. grin

Do you know that Alex Iwobi and many academy players made Arsenal bench for the match against West Bromwich in the capital one cup in 2013? grin

Was he an Arsenal senior team player since 2013 because he and some academy players made the bench and trained with the senior team? grin.

If not, it's normal that an academy player can still made the bench of a senior team but doesn't in anyway make him a senior team player. grin

The fact remains he was officially promoted to Arsenal senior team on the 15th of February 2016 after he already played for the SE as an Arsenal U19 academy player. Kpom!

The bolded nailed it. grin

Alex Iwobi added to Arsenal first-team as Arsene Wenger praises youngster's great potential

JAMES BENGE

Monday 15 February 2016 13:12

Arsene Wenger has promoted Alex Iwobi to Arsenal’s first-team squad after the forward’s sparkling contributions in recent months.

The 19-year-old, who a made big impression on Wenger during the club’s pre-season last summer, has played eight times for Arsenal this season, making starts in both FA Cup ties.

It was on those victories over Sunderland and Burnley that Iwobi particularly excelled, creating several chances and dovetailing with the likes of Joel Campbell and Alexis Sanchez.

Iwobi has also made four appearances off the substitutes bench in the Premier League and can hope for further opportunities now that his manager has added him to the first-team squad.

Alex Iwobi is a 'perfect player' to coach, says Arsenal academy chief
“It’s a very important moment,” Wenger said. “Everybody has to fight hard here to get into the first-team dressing room.

He came through the youth ranks and he has made it quietly, slowly, but remarkably. Personally I believe this boy will be a great player for Arsenal Football Club. He has all the ingredients, not just on the football front but also mentally.

“He’s intelligent, motivated, focused every day, has a consistent attitude and I’m very happy for him. I hope he will be with the first team for a long time.”

Despite his recent elevation Iwobi was not part of the squad for Sunday’s victory over Leicester City, with the return of Danny Welbeck providing Wenger with further attacking options.

On the 29 -09 2015, he played for Arsenal U19 academy and that game was against olympiacos. It was right after that match he was called to play his first match against Dr Congo and Cameroon. grin

Rohr Not Bothered Eagles May Play In The Rain Vs Libya, Reveals Who Finally Rejected Kaduna

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr isn't bothered with the likelihood of rain which might make the pitch at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium unplayable against Libya.

The Eagles will face Group E leaders Libya in the match day 3 of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Saturday.

"We have a lot of European players, only one is playing in Nigeria. They are used to playing in this type of condition. This training pitch is okay, the same with the Mainbowl," the 65-year-old stated in an interview session attended by allnigeriasoccer.com.

The coach thanked Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency Emmanuel Udom for receiving the team with open hands.

"I want to thank the Governor of Akwa Ibom, His Excellency Emmanuel Udom for receiving us again."

"We were supposed to play in Kaduna, the pitch wasn't ready and CAF didn't approve it."

"We are really very happy to be here in Uyo. It's now our home. We have a good feeling here with the Stadium and the people. This happiness is what I want to see in the game against Libya on Saturday,"
he concluded.

Ex-Leicester City Striker Musa Admits Super Eagles Will Miss Obi Mikel Not Victor Moses

Former Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa says the team will miss the influence of captain John Obi Mikel in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Libya on Saturday but believes there are players in the squad that can replace the retired Chelsea winger Victor Moses.

The Super Eagles who are third on the Group E log with three points will miss their mercurial skipper due to fitness issues.

And Musa believes the team will shrug off the setback and record victory over the Mediterranean Knights on Saturday.

"We will definitely miss the captain. We all understand his importance to the team," the Al-Nassr star began at a Press Conference attended by allnigeriassoccer.com on Thursday.

"Victor Moses is no longer available for selection due to his retirement from the national team.

"We have players who are capable of filling the void. We certainly missed some players against Seychelles but copped.

"William Troost Ekong missed out of the Seychelles fixture but he is fully back for the Libyan test.

Musa reiterated the Super Eagles' desire to be at the 2019 AFCON after missing out in the last two editions of the competition.

"We haven't been to the last editions of the AFCON."

"The players are looking forward to qualifying for the competition.'

"We are training ahead of the two games against Libya. There is no point jumping ship. The focus is on the first one on Saturday," he concluded.

Mikel Obi... No wahala shaa... But you has played like two or three games or so since the last international break in the CSL. Diaris God. Anyway, it is true he was absent in the last one or two match day squads of Teda's most recent games. In all, just make sure you are back for the November International break. No more excuses Biko

Rohr Reveals Exactly Why Mikel Was Not Called Up For AFCON Qualifiers Vs Libya

Super Eagles boss, Gernot Rohr has cleared the air on John Obi Mikel's absence from the team for a third consecutive time.

Concerns has been raised on the non availability of the Eagles' skipper following his absence from Nigeria's last two games against Seychelles and Liberia, raising questions on his commitment to the team.

But Rohr explained why the former Chelsea and Lyn Oslo midfielder opted out of the clash with the Mediterranean Knights.

"Mikel called to inform me on his unavailability," the coach explained in an interview session attended by allnigeriasoccer.com.

"He (Mikel) told me he wasn't ready physically for the demands of playing for the national side at least for now."

"He hasn't been in the squad of Tianjin Teda recently and that shows he is yet to hit 100% fitness."

"When he is fit, he will come back to the Super Eagles and play. He sends his messages and is always with us in spirit. Hopefully, he should be back for the game against South Africa in November."

Gernot Rohr added that he is satisfied with the level of training following their first workout on grass at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The Super Eagles who are third on the Group E log face a must win game against the Mediterranean Knights in Uyo this weekend.

"We have it good with training since the beginning of the week. The environment here is serene and the pitch is in good condition.

"We have had four training sessions so far. Not all the players started with us on Monday. Some of them trained on Monday. On Tuesday we had two sessions," he explained.

Nigeria will host the first leg at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Saturday 13th October with the return leg is scheduled for the 18,000-capacity Stade Taïeb Mhiri in the city of Sfax, Tunisia on Tuesday 16th October.
