for the 100ft x 50ft land you want to fence, this is the break down of the workmanship

2200 blocks for the fence, and 308 blocks for the pillars (if you are using blocks for your pillars) 2508 blocks x N60 bricklayer + labour cost per block = N150, 408 for 9 inches blocks

2508 x N50 = N125, 400 for 6 inches blocks

Pls note that any form of casting, flooring or blinding and excavation is excluding in this cost, this cost is only for block setting

in my area there is a man who used to mould the pole standing.. he has a molder.. good quality too

I have had 3 POP professionals go measure my site for POP ceiling installation, All came back with different calculations per sqm, The 4th guy is on his way now, It's really frustrating

Bungalow----3 bedroom
Duplex--- 4 bedroom
Duplex+Penthouse-------5 Bedroom

You have your portable green area.
You have space for 3-4 cars to park.

If your location adheres strictly to standard setbacks for residential buildings then you'll have less space for cars on this plot.

You can measure it yourself to confirm actual sqm.

It's very easy

Take your floor plan and extract the measurements in each space. Ensure its in sqm.

Or

You get a tiler to give you the measurement on areas for floor tiles.



Then you compare which quotes is close in measurement from which you can choose from.

I faced that too when I was doing mine,but I sent only pop guys there and I went with the one that came with a lesser measurement

Boss I can't extract the measurements from the floor plan because the measurement for each spaces wasn't written in sqmeters, I could try your other suggestion but that's kinda the same thing as sending a POP guy to go do the measurements, I can't tell who is giving me the accurate or correct measurement, I wanna move forward with my project but i am trying to avoid being fleeced or paying more than am supposed to.

Hello fellow Nairalanders, please am concerned about my building project in port harcourt, the building has swallowed almost 4M and we haven't even started the oversite concrete, the building is 21.71m X 11.58m. so far we are filling the backfilling the rooms and getting ready to start oversite concrete slab. Note: this is a 4 unit of 2 bedroom all ensuite. should the cost be upto what it has taken? i am not in the country, could it be that something is not right? please i need advice.

Just pick the quote you prefer and ensure the artisan does a good job.
If you can read a measuring tape and you intend buying materials by yourself. Depending on your payment strategy, you can re-measure each worked section and do your deductions.
