Honestly men should be the ones to do family planning.
They are the ones that can't hold their urge to have sex yet they are the ones scared to do a vasectomy.

How can a man do family planning? why should a man doing family planning?

It's like retiring your Jersey when you're still young, vibrant and active. what's the essence of playing when you're forbidden from scoring?

Is only a stupid person that will advice his or her male loved ones to do vasectomy.
Vasectomy is castration, you becomes everlasting impotent.
That is stupidity of the couple to select the male partner to do such instead of female partner which is most suitable and not harmful to her and also she is the most beneficial to the family planning.
Equating male and female body is wrong, both have different anatomical structure to an extent.
Female can easily adapt to most contraceptive processes involved but in male the only effective contraceptive with exception of condom and withdrawal method is sterilization (vasectomy).
It's not ordinary because he can never have sex again through out his life time..
