Assuming you are coming on a PR...

Application for TFN, Medicare, to register at Centerlink, open bank account is "free". Not a single kobo.
Travel card - is like $10 for Adults, $5 for kids (5 years and above). Transport fare depends on State and time of travel. Peak time or off peak - from $3 upwards or less. You just keep topping up your card.
Living expenses for family of 4 for 2 weeks - Budget $1500 AUD or more.

For lawyers, it is a very long road. You have to be called to the bar first in Australia before you can put in EOI.

If you read further on the website of law association of any of the states, you will understand better.

Open an Australian bank account, give him the account details to transfer the money. You don't have any limit.

457 has been abolished and replaced with 482 which has very strict requirements. The employer must demonstrate beyond reasonable doubt that there is no one available in the country with the required skills.

Yes you can open NAB and ANZ in Nigeria and when you get to Australia you get it activated and you can send money to the account

A$300 to 1000 is not bad at all and the rest in your account

Sha becareful. I have seen numerous episodes of Border Security on DSTV channel 132 to becareful of AGENTS. ika buruku ni won. I once had a personal experience with one too.
I was going to Dubai for a training in my office. About 5 or 6 of us submitted our details to an agent to precess visa for us. The agent brought the visa but not without faults. On my visa was all my bio/passport details but my principals photograph. On his was mine. The guy told me to proceed to the airport with others that notting would happen. I did as suggested thinking there are other ways to check electronically through the systems at the airport. As God would have it, i turned down at the POD; Abuja Airport. I got back to him and he retrieved the visa from me saying he was going to make ammend.
He return the following day with a new visa with my details and passport this time. However, he told me not to show them the new visa at the PoE but show the old one with my principals passport. We do not look alike in any way. He is Fulani and dark skinnned and i am Yoruba with light skin. STILL UNEXPLAINABLE HOW I DECIDED TO GO AHEAD WITH THE TRIP. I was only scheduled to spend a week in Dubai to attend the Big Five Exhibition oo....
Anyway, i boarded the plan with one of my principal officer's friend and we headed to Dubai, UAE. The plane was about to touch and i realized how serious this issue could be. I prayed to God to save me never to be so gullible again. Allah being so Merciful, i got to the immigration, just after my Principal office's friend(oga) and the Immigration only asked for my Passport, stamped it and never asked to see my visa.

The summary of the story is, do not WHOLE HEARTEDLY trust an agent.

God bless you Sir. I don't trust him and that's why am here. I just want to know if Australia Business Visa can be processed in 2 weeks. I don't like patronising agents too but I just have some reasons why I want to use an agent and I seriously need the visa. Thanks so much!

Hello fellow compatriots. Finally landed in Sydney on the 18th of October, 2018. No immigration hassles. Actually have accommodation challenges and I need kind hearted suggestions. Been staying in a motel with my family of 4 for 2 days now($131 per day). Of course expensive and v spent my time looking for affordable alternative on airbnb since my arrival . Got one but unfortunately my host cancelled my booking last minute. Want to start surfing for rented apartment and was wondering the best low cost, safe suburb (300-400 per week) for a family at least 30 mins from Sydney CBD. Also if anyone has contact of a reliable agent, pls help me with it. I need to leave this motel asap. Thank u.

Have you checked through Airbnb again?

It is the best short alternative before you can get a permanent place.

Alternatively, look for backpackers that can accommodate a family. Motel is expensive.

I don't live in Sydney, I have no other alternative idea. Hopefully someone living in Sydney will come to your rescue.

Tanx a lot. Airbnb is expensive the ones I got are from $850 and above. Its been mentally exhausting( this too shall pass!!!!)
