what cave did you crawl out from? undecided

You don't necessarily need to show how stupid you are all the time. A check at CFA website still shows that there is no approved exam center in Nigeria yet. Unless there is another form of center or an arrangement that I do not know.

are you saying CFA exam didn't hold in nigeria this year?

Stop spreading fake news, the only new center in Africa is in Nairobi, Kenya and an additional center in South Africa.

Why can't you use Google to confirm that or goto Nigeria CFA society. The June exam was written in Lagos. But I-know-it-all attitude will not let you do the research on that lest you came to accuse me of spreading fake news.

If it did, I am very happy to hear that. I have always relied on information from the institute's website. I have not been around for four years. Infact, I would have written level 1 this December if there is a center in Nigeria but I settled for June next year because I didn't want to start travelling to Ghana or Kenya. But why does the institute still deny that there is a center in Nigeria. Just checked this afternoon.

Why didn't you search about it before accusing someone of spreading fake news.

It's a pity how some people are quick to spill their frustration around as if any anybody is responsible for their situation. Just look at the newspaper link, you wonder when CFA became a British institute. Anyway, I have registered already to write by June 2019 when I get back to my base.

I was almost tempted to hurl insult and call the prospective/existing students of CFA names....

I actually wrote my CFA exam in Lagos.

The screenshot of the confirmation from President and CEO of CFA Institute affirm my stance.

British Council organized the exam in Nigeria and the Paul Smith was there.

I know after checking the attachments, dem go still call am fake or Photoshop.

But I'm done trying to pass information to people who wouldn't want to heed.....

Pleaae stop saying stuff like this. 300hrs whether more or less does not guarantee success. Depending on his reading pattern and strength he should read for the exam with a very good material shweser, curriculum, ift videos, mark meldrum etc. All the Best Bro

clearly, this is an internet forum ; its not like I am going to know the guy/girl's reading patterns. Schweser books have a truncated version of the cfa issued textbooks. If a student doesn't want to miss out on technical information I highly recommend reading the cfa textbooks over schweser. Doing less than 300 hours is asking to do a re-sit. The point I'm making is anyone that wants to pass should have a minimum level of work that they are putting in.
Re: CFA Candidates In The House by marqueetim(m): 6:16pm On Oct 13, 2018
Ok bro. But minimum work still depends on the individual

I was actually shocked at their level of arrogance.
You've done your part...they can keep arguing from now till eternity, it's their choice.

The urge to always want to prove " I'm smart, I know what I'm doing" has always been the downfall of many people with potentials.

The first attack he/she would mete out to me was I was spreading 'fake news'. How could things one have not verified become 'fake news'? Giving them the link, they resorted to calling names. These are friends, colleagues, brothers, siblings and whatnot to others - I really pity whoever associate with them.

How was I vetting out frustration when I was intending to take them out of their ignorance? They have paucity of polite approaches to interacting with people for their I-too-know attitude and would not like reckoning what other people are saying. Too bad!

Bro, be expecting them to tag these our accounts belong to the same person and that we are photoshoping the attached photos.
