Firstly, before starting a poultry farm business you should ensure that you carry out an explicit investigation and gather information from experienced people before starting off your own. This process is essential so as to save you a lot of heartache and reckless spending, when you eventually commerce the business. Poultry farming business in Nigeria is a growing business that continues to increase as the population grows. Also, people are conscious of what they now eat, and chickens and the eggs they lay are highly nutritious. This is obviously an indication that there is always a ready market for poultry and poultry products. This looks like an easy business to start, but there are strict prerequisite for starting and running a poultry farming business in Nigeria. Mostly, poultry farms are often affected by diseases when there is a very poor handling of the birds, these diseases can kill all the birds if not well controlled and properly reported and quickly.
