Social Work - There was interview and the number to be admitted depends on the capacity of the dept. Lecturers complain our set of 42students is high hence the need to reduce this year. The criteria to be used,I don't know but I can assure you,the number of candidates to be admitted will be less than 42.

ECCE- They did not conduct DPT last year,but they did interview on Thursday.

It may be like false,but some dept check your alma-mata to decide as well in cases where they have large number of candidates.

You must be exceptional in Economics DPT to get admission. The dept does not admit large numbers

Chemistry as well,your DPT cut off depends on your specialisation. E.g physical and environmental chemistry used 42 and 44 respectively last year.

As for school fees and PG hostel accomodation, it depends on the Department and kind of programme one is running. However, for those running ACADEMIC Masters Programme in Faculty of the Social Sciences you should budget a MINIMUM sum of N200,000 for Acceptance Fee, School Fee, and hostel accomodation because Sociology for instance pays a minimum sum of N125,000 (for UI alumnus) and N132,400 (for non-UI alumnus) on entry. I paid N132,400 this year as school fees only. Hostel accomodation is around N45,000 but it is OPTIONAL. So, start saving at least N200,000 if you applied into the Social Sciences and even Arts/Humanities.

Very possible and that is why I earlier stated it is around N45,000. But, I would prefer using that N50,000 or more to find a single accomodation outside if I were others. I refused to pay for PG hostel accomodation during my time despite I was assigned to one immediately after paying my fees. I live off-campus, and I like my privacy and personal hygiene no matter how small or ugly my room may be. Most of those hostels are so UNHYGIENIC and with little or no privacy. It is a personal choice.

then no test. Not all departments wrote test so y'all will be screened based on EPT and other results
