Even Yobe and Kebbi states' governors have performed better than this in 3 years also. Apart from Abakaliki, which other city is being opened up in Ebonyi? Even if he can't achieve all I have listed there, why can't he upgrade the state of public schools and hospitals in the state or do you want to tell me that they are already in good conditions? Ebonyi state's level of vehicular movement is among the lowest in the country but Umahi is wasting billions on building flyovers, just the same nonsense Fayose did in Ekiti, and the most annoying part is that Umahi is planing to flag off the construction of an Airport funded by the state's government, what nonsense? Even with the way we dislike Okorocha, we can't deny that we did not see his work in the education sector of IMO state, let's not even talk about other states like Anambra and Osun. Having such a low population, Ebonyi state is expected to have keyed into wheat, maize and sugarcane farming which will set Ebonyi on another new level of agricultural success in food production due to availability of empty land. I read about his success in Rice and Palm oil production but I have not seen a well packaged Ebonyi Palm oil in the market before, I have only seen Abakaliki destoned rice.
You said Abakaliki gets portable water twice a week? How exactly is this an achievement?

It is an achievement because there was once no potable water supply at alllll even in the state capital, now it runs ocassionally and credits should be given for that so that it will be a stepping stone to achieve a frequent water supply. You count one before counting two. Looking back at where Ebonyi came from, it's an achievement.

Look I am by no means saying Ebonyi is haven in Nigeria right now, but Umahi anthem is infrastructural outfit. I was in secondary school in 2006 when folks from Enugu mocked me that Abakaliki had no fly over or functioning tap water. It was a shameful thing then.

Today there are three of the fly overs and an ocassionall water supply.

All these things you lament shall one day be a thing of the past, Ebonyi has been improving in their quality of elected governors and that is why Ebonyi keeps improving and for this there is hope ahead so far a military coup doesn't come along to disrupt the smooth progress.

Compared to Abia state that can't improve from a horrible governor to a better one, Ebonyi is doing it and we shall keep doing that.

The job is not yet done in ebonyi, we shall keep getting the job done.

Meanwhile; as regards to you maize, wheat and sugar cane plantations. It is role of government to provide a friendly environment for the growth of these, but umahi has made it clear his main focus is on infrastructural outfit and he has been doing that well. Sadly that is how Nigerian governance is structured; to focus on one aspect of governance.

Hopefully; the next governor after Umahi will give us another agricultural, educational and investment improvements after Umahi has provided the enabling infrastructure; airport viz and viz.

You never know what you are talking about. Which party are you talking about. Tinubu is already working hard to take over. The surest way to Igbo presidency is PDP.

The earliest you forget about APC the better for you.

Well, maybe. But since he never said anything against Obi's choice as VP both before and after the selection, I tend to believe him.

From all I have seen in about 12 to 15 towns I have visited in Ebonyi in the last 7 months, Dave Umahi has done what was thought impossible in t young state. Given his lean purse, I consider him the best governor in Nigeria presently.

if all what you saw in those towns did not include renovated public schools and hospitals then Umahi's work is not yet commendable.
"I consider him the best governor in Nigeria presently". Like seriously, you consider Umahi the best governor in Nigeria presently? Well that's your choice, to me, Umahi is below the likes of the governors of Anambra, Enugu, Kebbi, Lagos, Edo and Kano.

I will get you more pictures, he didn't just renovate schools, he broke down entire school buildings in many places and rebuilt them fresh, upgraded some to special science schools. I have some pictures of this on this very thread.

I want to ask the real Ndigbo here.
Between Igbo getting vp under pdp and rallying massively for Igbo presidency in 2023, which is preferable because all political parties are supposed to field a SE president in 2023?

We are now faced with Peter Obi using his personal interest to sabotage the real deal for ndigbo and with igbos supporting Atiku who will lose anyway, the SW will come to challenge this slot in 2023.
this is how we keep losing in Nigeria politics.

If we lose Igbo presidency in 2023, Biafra might be the only option for Ndigbo.

LAGOS that has degenerated from the high pedestal fashola left it?
Lagosians after the introduction of sanwo olu turned against ambode for ruining Lagos.

Or that of Enugu accused of only focusing on nsukka axis. I was in enugu recently and everything I saw in the city were all chime left, nothing new. Ugwuanyi is just maintaining the already built ones.

Ganduje of kano? More interested in stopping kwankwasiyya movement than improving the lives of kanoans and collecting 50million dollar bribe on canera?

The Edo stooge ruling on behalf of oshiomole?

Now I know you're just blinded by hatred for umahi for you to call these crooks.

Anambra, clearing of illegal traders at onitsha

It will be a continuous battle to stop illegal street markets in Onitsha.

Since the end of Biafran war, the psyche of the people had been to simply create street markets wherever they can. The sad thing is that we are no longer a war torn society without law and order. Street markets can no longer be condoned to continue to deface our key cities like refugee settlements.

Our people should please learn to trade in designated markets and NOT streets or major roads meant to drive the economy. These street trading had made it near impossible to develop Onitsha into a beautiful adorable city where tourists and decent businesses would like to come and set up. Onitsha has continued to resemble a war-torn huge refugee camp- largely from the indiscriminate activities of street traders.

I thank Gov. Obiano for fighting this mentality of street trading until it is finally stopped.

Stop spewing rubbish this old useless man. That's inside the main market. Onitsha main market should not be mistaken for Onitsha city. Onitsha main market is one of the most organised in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Onitsha as a city is beautiful and well organized.

You are from Delta state but you are never bothered about the dilapidated filthy disorganized village called Asaba..just as shown below.

Bro,
Please, don't hype the ego of an internet nuisance by responding to him. Truly, there is no need to respond to a dog. He knows very well the area in the picture isn't main market but down-flyover upper Iweka area, which is more than 5KM away from main market. So let him continue his silly deceit. In any case, he isn't from Anambra, so don't fall for his forced attache to Anambra.

When now I'm looking at it.
Maybe it wouldn't be bad to have plan B.
Just maybe, Umahi and co are not as mad as I thought.
Maybe we should tone down on our criticism of them.

Problem is that Tinubu has APC strangulated like a python on its prey. Buhari wouldn't be able to hand over to Umahi and co, without Tinubu self destructing APC.
Maybe that wouldn't be a bad idea as well.

This was how they made so much noise online about ipob, against Obiano etc.
