I trade forex and you can make 50percent profit in a month provided you have superb trading skills. binary options is like gambling.you can't cut your losses when it goes against you. it gives you no chance to recoup. it's a quick way of making money and also a quick way of losing. why would a sane person agree to invest with someone who trades binary options. people are so ignorant sha.

Currency trading is highly profitable but if you don't understand what drives the market and how to take advantage of it, you will end up in great pains.

Many Nigerians will refused to seat down and learn how the market works, demo trade what they have learnt for at least 6 solid months of consistent profit trading before going live.

In any, those that withdrew some money when the scheme started should make do with that one, but those who lost completely should move on and learn how to make money themselves, okay.

Meanwhile, currency trades should stop asking people to invest, when they are not making consistent daily profits.

Forex is no scam, if you don't know about it, hush. most people who parade themselves as traders want to make quick bucks off ignorant people. the real traders don't talk, they don't advertise their services, they don't go about hosting seminars. they don't need people's money cos they can build their capital. so, if you don't know, hush.

Most people would think that they scammed people and made away with their money but the truth is that they lost the funds in the financial market.

Forex , commodity and options are extremely volatile and risky investment that may result in 100% loss of capital, but can also guarantee swift turnaround within a short time. If I have 500k and bet on a binary options on Oil for 5mins, I'm simply predicting where the price of oil will be on the spot market in the next 5mins, if I'm right, I'm nearly certain of 80-90% return on capital, but should I lose, I've lost the 500k invested, now this is just within a space of 5minutes. The problem with this sort of investment is that at son point it becomes gambling, and without the right trade psychology and risk management , 2bn can be lost within a month.

While in school, I did something similar, and lost massively on forex and binary options. Lots of students/lectures money wiped out. I had to sell my properties (glad I invested in some physical assets), to offset my debt.. No one knew what happened. I just liquidated my assets and paid everyone their money with interests. And shutdown the scheme, I charged them a 20% clearance fee. Till date I'm still hailed as the master investor, and many are begging to give me funds, but only me knew what I went through.

This people did me bad...

Went for thier meeting in Ife...and listened to the young men, sound guys from what I noticed, and they stressed that they weren't an MLM scheme, but traded with the funds on binary options and what have you...they had been running for 2 years before I put my cash...

Alas ! They ran away...maybe they lost the money truthfully, but they should have been bold enough to stand up and face the truth. I've lost money in my own ventures too, but I didn't run away.

I know they are not scammers cos even banks do forex bt banks use safe business modules. These guys take more risks and yet pay out ridiculous interests rates to customers which can not possibly be sustained. That’s just what happened. Poor risk assessment.

Reading it all now I think these guys where not even highly experienced for what they were handling. U lost sm funds and cos ure under pressure to pay crazy rates kept gambling and loosing more funds by taking more ridiculous risks

Second, the first law of investing is DON'T LOSE CAPITAL. The second law is Don't Forget The First Law. This is posited by none other than Warren Buffett.
Any offering that is volatile enough to permit loss of capital (within minutes for that matter) is gambling not investing.

All well perpetrated scams work well for a while, just long enough for enough gullible folks to build faith in it.. simple psychology...but when payday comes, PayDay comes.

If you actually believe those boys lost money, well you're entitled to your opinion.

I don't. This is Nigeria. Trust a Nigerian with your funds at your own peril.

There's a big difference between forex trading and binary options trading. The latter is nothing different from betnaija while the former could be done with profit but that's after much study...and a lot of practice.

i understand its possible to make 20% but when you assure someone 20% profit without telling them that there are risks too then its a scam.... But people are foolish so i will just tell someone that you should give me money and after investing i will pay you 20% and they will agree.... They can invest and loose all in 5mins... Binary options is not a scam but when uneducated people join without knowing the risk it becomes one.... I blame the people too... The investors should be arrested too thats nonsense....

Ignorance is Bliss.. American and European options are only classified so based on the optionality they give by allowing investors close their position on their investment before maturity or not. What you call an option can really be anything as long as it gives investors the optionality to buy or sell an underlying assets at a certain strike price or range. Oando , Apple, microsoft stocks have embedded options, Nigerian Banks trade in options.

Binary option is just an investment name (and could be the normal vanilla America or European options or complex COCOs), just like the various names of savings and current account product given by banks. E.g. Diamond save more, fcmb super save, (all are still savings account). but the assets traded can be anything e.g. oil, gold, forex etc. And yes, option trade brokers are heavily regulated. , alpari investment, Fxopen, market.com and many other brokers offer binary option and they are well regulated.

And please, quit with the stupid rules, every trade is a risk, and whether your analysis is wrong or right, if you aren't moving in the direction of where the money is, you'll lose your capital before the trend reverses.

You may have read a few books but I've been doing this trade since God knows when.
