Those pictures were taken in 2016 and it was within Buhari's tenure. This clearly means that, the Renovation and upgrade of the Airport took place during Buhari's regime.

The Upgrade of PH international airport was a project awarded in 2013 by the federal government under former President Goodluck Jonathan. The contract was for the remodelling and building of international airport terminals in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano and Enugu on a ‘Built, Operate and Transfer’ (BOT) basis, financed by Chinese EXIM Bank but with counterpart funds from Nigeria.

The FGN's obligation as part of this partnership was to provide $100 million counterpart funding which GEJ paid before he left office.

Like other projects, Buhari is laying claim and taking credit for a project he personal had no input in.

Here is a post by dailypost in 2016 when Adesoun tried to claim that the counterpart funding for this project had not being paid.

Some of you are just so confused , filled with hatred and couldn't reason beyond your nose , it's stated in this narrative you posted that it should have been completed in 2016, this is 2018 what happened in between ??

Furthermore, this is purely deceit from the pit of hell , No government pay total fee for a project upfront , it's a blatant lie.

For example , if you want to build house and the total cost of it 10m inclusive of furnishing , would you pay the total amount to the contractor ??

Stop your lies. PH airport has been on international standard even before GEJ became a deputy governor in Bayelsa state.

Na you confuse pass. Read my previous comment again but, do it slowly this time.
GEJ and Stella Oduah claimed they have fixed both Airports at the same time. They syphoned the funds meant for remodeling the Airports, that was why a poor job was done. Thanks to Buhari, both Airports are wearing a new looks now.
