Tonite's match clearly showed why we performed badly in Russia. Libya made a change in the first half, they scored immediately. In the second half, libya made another change, I told my wife that our coach is not reacting o and before you know it, Libya equalised, if the Libyan team was more experienced, they won't have lost this match and their coach despite just being appointed was more tactical than rohr.

If NFF like, let them stick with rohr until he disgraces this promising and energetic eagles, then their eye will clear. Foreign coaches will never be the solution to our
national team. Rohr deserve not to be with this team any longer

We should appeal that yellow card because it just feels to me like the Botswana ref wanted to do South Africa a favor. I asked what he did and also why he was the only one getting booked. Remember this referee was heavily scrutinized before this match for his poor performance.

He may not be world class, but Ighalo is the best option we have up top.
When he isn't scoring, he's hustling and being a nightmare for CBs.
I'm happy he's back to form

Taliban:
My naïve conclusions from this game;

Aina was a liability.
Kalu still a lot of work to do
Etebo-Ndidi-Iwobi not the dream midfield trio.

Ogu brought freshness and stability to the midfield but baba don old small and he's kind of slow. Perhaps a midfield of Ogu-Ndidi and iwobi could work or maybe the terrier himself, Onazi.

Ola aina is just another regular player....not better dan shehu anyway, ebuehi is still d best out of d option we av for now cool

Let us just be happy that he is scoring.

When he was not scoring, the only people getting nightmares were Nigerian fans not CBs.

This may not be a popular opinion but Iwobi is not our solution. He is creative no doubt, but he is not a controller. At 2 goals up we were still playing at the pace the Libyans want us to play, same thing in the first leg. If Iwobi cannot control a match against Libya will he manage against any other team? Libya controlled the first leg and should have scored way more, they are controlling this one and should be level or even ahead but we are lucky.

Ndidi, I wonder why nobody criticises him, he is doing absolutely nothing. We attack Etebo for holding on to the ball too much but Ndidi does nothing, he does not chase the ball, he just has an automatic shirt which makes no sense. I watched the Algeria match and Ogu is a good controller, without Mikel he should be playing a part in all our matches, he will offer way more with Etebo than Ndidi
So Ndidi deserves no place in the starting 11 anymore?

Yes, just saw the highlights of the second goal. Reminds me of his good season at Watford.

The goal shows that the man is full of confidence.
he should buy beer for rohr for sticking with him

Ighalo saves Rohr from the sack. This was just very poor coaching being saved by a moment of magic.
Coaching or defensive puupuu!!?

Ball watching Leon Balogun and hesitant Aina caused the equalizer

A sweet away victory...

Was happy to catch up with the second half.

Ighalo is the rave of the moment. No better way to redeem one's poor image than this.

Kudos to him.

Congratulations to the SEs and all Football loving Nigerians!

Give Libya Aubemeyang or Adebayor and they would be 4-2 up, better team BY FAR
And why don't they have the aforementioned players?

We need a better tactician. Rohr doesn’t have the technical acumen to manage our talents. He is so predictable with his boring tactics but nevertheless, we are wining games and i think that’s all that matter, but in the long run our team may continue to exhibit amateur tendency (inability to string passes).

Libya equalized & could have won because our players were snoozing!

WTF does it have to do with Rohr? You want reactionary substitutions in 1st half? You think this is Pes we are talking of?

You are right but we were under heavy pressure that our coach cared nothing about. The changes he made did nothing to affect the game. Ighalo just saved his coach and now they must be even

The coach should be blamed because it was obvious our wingers were tired and couldn't support the defence.

When the Libyan were on top, Rohr could have made tactical change to slow the game down. Perhaps, Ogu could have come on earlier or Ajayi.

Change the wingers if they are tired. We waited till they scored.

you are spot on but the insinuation that a foreign coach is not the way forward baba i no buy that idea. rohr may not be good enough but replacing him with a local coach will dismantle the little progress the teamhave made since rohr took over.

local coach now wey go get like 4-5 slots which will be automatic for our old and recycled local league players abi? bros noooooo God no go gree
