During the interview process into the NDA, she said I should use a perforator on my documents, I couldn't do it at once and she said I wasn't strong enough to be in the NDA, I wasn't fazed...now a fourth termer. She passed on in March this year. 4 Likes |

He gave me F instead of C that I got... met him and he all he could say was "I, I'm sorry it was an oversight and there is nothing i can do about it" To say it was painful is an understatement because it was my first carryover.. .. I cried for weeks.Got A second semester,will be writing the carryover this semester. 2 Likes |

It was a CA, 25marks or thereabout... answered the question rightfully after combining the handout with a good research, answered writing like 4pages in the hall but to score 2... he said I didn't hit points! Said I shd come c him in his office to see what he can do! I smh for myself bcus the man wud for sure know my matric dt way, which I cud smell wickedness in his blood no matter how much we laughed n had a good conversation...! I chosed to let go! Later had a C, sme friends jumping to had scored 9, I think the highest was 14...! Some ended up with a 40! Nigerian universities or school systems are funny places! We gat to keep moving no matter what sha...! Thumbs up to Nigerians, we're strong guys* nothing breaks us 1 Like |

duo have forgiven him, but i cant forget the crazy lecturer that gave me 'E' in 6 unit (t.p as in no exam just defense, i just dont knwhow i fall under the man cos every1 already knw him as a sadist ) in 400l funny enough when he took me in 500l he asked one applied question and promised to give whoever gets it right #5k i got it and he gave me the money then said "i never knew you are this intelligent" anyway it bygone it over 4yrs now 1 Like |

In eco 221, my lecturer gave us class work and one of my coursemate didn't know the simple class work, he just rewrite the thing give the man back, the lecturer was sooo angry he just told the guy that "you are unteachable " class just scatter with Laff I pity the guy oo cos e just silent 4 Likes 2 Shares |

During my undergraduate days, we were three who moved together as friends and we were very close to this lecturer. We used pay courtesy visit to him and we were very close to his wife as well. He wanted to marry this lady in my class as his second wife and was already proposing a secret introduction. One way or the other, the wife heard about it and this caused a brawl in the family. The man concluded we must have told her since we knew about the parole. Unfortunately, he happened to invigilate one of our exams and he chased the three of us out of the exam barely thirty minutes into the exam. Only three of us had carry over in that course. In his own course, he gave one of who was his number suspected due to his vocality and he spared the two of us by giving us "40".. The effect of this cruelty on our GP was devastating as it crushed it badly.. Well, karma played its role and he got sacked barely a year after 5 Likes |

A lecturer was disturbing my wife with his love story, I approached him and politely let him know she's married his reply was; never speak for a lady she may be interested in me and you should know I can not stop loving her easily. on my second visit to his office he boldly said (in the presence of my wife) "if you'll pay me 300,000naira I'll change my mind. 1 Like 1 Share |

I was in 100l, looked so young even though I definitely wasn’t the youngest. The most brilliant lecturer we had at the time, a Dr Mrs. She must have been observing me long ago and hellbent on humiliating me. She started a new topic in class and was asking students to share their ideas on the topic, obviously absent minded, she pointed to me to speak. I told her I had no bright idea, that was it, she snapped, went on all about how young I was, definitely youngest in d class, was I thinking of girlfriends? When I have no business having any at my age, said a whole lot of humiliating stuff. It was meant to motivate me but d approach was totally wrong and embarrassing, in front of over 500 students. It’s those kinda courses about 4 departments write and even students from other faculties. It affected my self esteem for a long time, fought so hard to shake it off. That was over 10 years ago. Graduated very well, my brilliance has never been in doubt and I’m today a practicing and professional accountant. That experience cud have marred me and scarred me all through university but thank God I rose above it. Lecturers shd be careful the things they say to students, they are adults and have feelings too. Just with ur utterances u cud kill a dream, a family’s expectations and investment. 5 Likes 1 Share |

I was an average Student, represents my Department and Faculty in Quiz competitions. Fast forward, we finished our 4 years course, did signing out and was waiting for graduating list. Alas, my name was not on the graduating list. I rushed straight to my level adviser and he was like You failed a 300L course and you didn't register it, so you aren't graduating.  A course I didn't know I failed, tears roll down my cheeks and he was like; " Why are you crying? Is it not just one year" If I had a gun that day, maybe I'd have been typing this from prison. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Hmmmm!! I'm a lecturer and I just leanrt. Thanks for this thread. When I was in school as an undergraduate,my project supervisor frustrated me. He even said he would not allow me to graduate. But today, not only that I graduated,I'm also a lecturer. Everything one passes through in school,to me it is a lesson to move forward and become great. Everyone has story(ies). Dis happened to me during my nd2. We were having building tech and the lecturer asked me what follows a lintel, I told him it was block coach. He started laughing at me and said I've always been a labor that was why I said coach. He asked me if I was a bricklayer I told him I'm a welder at that point the whole class joined him in laughing though he later corrected me that its courses not coach but I felt really embarrassed that day. There was another day he asked me the types of floor, I said German floor and he almost fainted. 10 Likes 1 Share |

mranova:69 is borderline... It's usually rounded off to 70. He must have been a meanie to retain it in three courses. Even most external examiners will give you one, unless you were already upgraded. |

I graduated as the best student in my department and quickly enrolled for my MSc. This my current HOD just sees me as a threat for no reason. a saddist and evil man. He told me plainly that over his dead body that the school retains me. I'm currently waiting for my Oversea scholarship and his death at the same time... whichever comes first, lol 6 Likes 1 Share |

nony43: Mine is anger over the kind of lecturers and diluted knowledge received at Kogi State University. I was among the first three set and you can imagine the hoodlums and illiterate that were employed to teach us especially in management sciences HND graduates teaching in a university. Those idiots with the help of Ogbadu gave me a CGP of 3.47 for fear of graduating a Second class upper student. I have done an Msc and doing another Bsc in a different discipline now I can tell you the difference is clear. 3 Likes |
