Your hatred just never fails to shine through. You said Solanke was better even after he(Nacho) had an excellent first season. You are lying and trying to dribble your way out of it but you cannot. Even when Nacho does have a bad game, you want us to over dwell on it because you love to scoff at the lad... But he does well, you hide your face. Oga, you are a certified Nacho hater. We know and we can move on with that knowledge because it is truth. Thank you. I clap for your dodging skills shaa ooo... Lol
I no go lie, you get time. My time go read 7:56pm and 8mins later e go read 8:04pm.

What do U expect when Ighalo visits this thread often? grin

edi287:
Like Tbaba said, lets just celebrate Ighalo's rich vein of form. All these talks are getting boring.

I loved this second goal...it put this ridiculous myth of him being a old fashioned target man to rest. The dribbling which some doubted he has showed.

edi287:

Good line up. You could still start Etebo and move Iwobi to the left or play Etebo on the wings which isn't something new to him.
Etebo despite his inconsistency brings energy to our mid...with Ndidi out injured, we'll need that energy more than ever.

I think it would be better to keep hold to Etebo. With Onazi and Mikel on the pitch one of them may need a breather or have a yellow card. Ogu can replace Mikel but if it is Onazi then there might be trouble. Etebo could be an impact player of the bench in a more further position.

I think having camps against each other is so lame. We're not club fans, this is a national team for crying out loud. It is so so lame. I think having needless and never ending exchanges with an obvious troll is at the root of the problem because soon almost everybody begins to take sides and we begin to form camps. The result is that we cannot even analyze or offer constrictive criticism on our players anymore because you're afraid not to offend one camp or the other. I don't how possible it is but we need to stop all this, There's a need for a handshake across borders here.

Possible areas of improvement

1. Midfield: Iwobi improves our chances of scoring goals but he does not control the midfield. Mikel appears to be the only one that does this. Etebo is hardworking but does not do it either. I suspect that Iwobi will return to the wings against SA.

I suspect Mikel, Onazi and Etebo will start..

Frankly speaking, criticism of Ighalo on this Thread ain't fair and objective most times. How many Goals have Lukaku scored for Manchester United this Season?!

The same Lukaku who is failing to bang Goals for United this Season, is banging Goals for Belgium. Same thing is applicable to Rashford, cos his Stats with the Three Lions are improving significantly compared to his Stats at United.

The Common Factor is easier to identify; both perform for their National Teams but failing at United. Why?! Mourinho's Tactics!

Ighalo is being starved of Assists (clear-cut Chances), thus how do we expecting him to be banging Goals?! Can you Guys compare Midfielders and Wingers that played with Yekini, Obagoal and co to the present ones?!

The Chance he missed against the Argies ain't that Spectacular?! It ain't a tap-in Chance he missed, neither the pass was laid to him in the Box, so why Fuss or Wailing?!

Several Times we said on this Thread that Iwobi is more needed in the Team as a Playmaker not as a Winger, but we were asked to shut up! As a Lady opined, Guys too get emotional on this Thread.

The Thread is maturing, growing in Pages, but our Attitude and Emotion are getting Worse!

honestly i will prefer a midfield trio of ndidi (dm) mikel (cm) iwobi (am)

but we must be careful not to lose the ball. all the chasing up and down will be left to ndidi, which i think will be too much for him

I wish Rohr can play the below Formation in our next Game!

you have never praised nacho even when he put in a great shift at work, instead you keep waiting for a moment to strike back if he fail to live up to expectation. Komekn will rather feed on poison than to praise nacho even if he score 10goals in a match, that is the characteristic of an hater!!. I prefer nacho to ighalo and that’s my opinion but that doesn’t mean I won’t praise ighalo when he put in a great shift at work (football Na their Work). I hate to say this, but Iheanacho is simply less than average. The guy is just hype and nothing else. Man city noticed this and dropped him like a hot iron. The unsuspecting Leicester fell for the scam and bought him for a fortune. But even then, to get playing time in mid table Leicester still hard for Iheanachonaldo my man, sotey them pursue am go youth team. grin

To crown it all, baba was the first Nigerian to win the "world's worst striker award".

At this rate, the guy will definitely be in the championship or in a lower league in two to three years. This is not hate, it's the bitter truth.

The problem I see with your lineup is lack of pace in that middle. Iwobi is the kind of guy that even if he is playing the AMF role he will still like to drift to the flanks and influence play from there but the problem he has is that even when he starts defending, he still sticks to the flank, at some point he was marking Samuel Kalu's man while we were defending and Samuel didn't know what to do hence he started moving from one side to the other to give Iwobi space that is why I have not blamed Samuel for his bad game knowing fully well that it would take a lot of training for him to know when to move central if Iwobi drifts to his wing, even Moses Simon or whoever would have a hard time with Iwobi as our AMF. Then back to your formation, Iwobi's absence then creates a space in the middle because only two players will be pressing in the middle, Etebo to me wasn't that poor because he was pressing for two persons and Ndidi was just sitting back doing almost nothing, just that if he(Etebo) does win the ball back he ends up making the wrong decision but with Mikel in the team I know that it will be reduced but if you remove Etebo for Onazi, is it Onazi or Mikel that will press for two persons?? You could see how the Libyans were easily creating passing triangles in our midfield because we had only two players chasing their 3-4 midfielders, don't forget that those two midfielders were Ndidi and Etebo, workhorses but still the Libyans found it easy, very very easy to get past the two of them and the Libyans aren't even on par with the South Africans when it comes to passing. So just imagine this; superior passing with even less energy in our midfield, that would be suicidal. I still think Iwobi should go back to the left or right flank and Etebo should pair with Onazi, Simon Moses should welcome Samuel to the bench

probabky because they were moving forward too easily rather than screening the defence like they should have. When both midfielders like to drift higher up the pitch, the likelihood of the opposition drifting past them is very high

Who told you yakubu club form wasn't good enough after that Miss ? That miss was at the 2010 World Cup ,during 2011/12 season yakubu scored 17 Epl goals in 30 games, the eagles coach then should be an hypocrite and not bold enough to call him,if someone should follow the opinions of Nigerians the person go fall inside lagoon

If rohr had listen to Nigerians by not calling ighalo what will he gain ? As if we even have better strikers .

I said his club form wasn't enough to convince Nigerians not that his club form wasn't good enough.

As in Nigerians didn't give a sh*t about his club form to call for his recall. He was totally kicked out ..Ighalo on the other hand was lucky Rohr kept faith in him...

Komekn I asked you, how do you compare Aina to Odubajo?

I can not give a very good assessment he has just come back from a serious long term injury of near 2 years. He is just getting back to find his form. Also I haven't watched him live in a long time.

He was highly rated before Injury.

I don't think you can compare the two of them that would be very unfair. I don't think Odubanjo has played a game in the championship for Brentford this season.

I think he needs a whole season in the Championship hopefully without any injury before you can see where he us at. And if he has been able to get back to his former standard.
