Good day house. I applied for TRV for a family of 3 in August and I did my biometric and biometric was confirmed done August 18. Ever since then, I haven't heard a response from the visa office. Question 1. Does it take so long for visa confirmation. Question 2. Is anyone experiencing the same itch. What's the next thing to do. Thanks. |

Good day friends, pardon me if this had been addressed earlier. I'm currently working in the UK but not happy with my earnings. I plan on moving to Canada next year. Anyone knows if the UK medical license is accepted as a direct qualification in canada? Thanks much. |

You don't have any problem . Applying from London its straight. You walk in and get interviewed you will know your faith right there on the spot. What am not sure about is if you will have to book an appointment before walking in.. Google three contact in London talk to someone on the phone . |

I also did biometrics with my wife and kid on 13 August and I haven't heard any response yet. I discovered in the student visa thread too that a lot of applicants have similar issues with delayed processing time. timigreene: 1 Like |

Good morning everyone. Please i need advice based on my family application. I am a frequent traveller to the UK (currently have 2yrs visa) and my wife and child (a year old) have 6months UK visa which is still a virgin. We plan travelling before Dec tho. However, we intend applying for Canada tourist visa after we return from our UK trip. My question, CAN WE DO A PAPER ROUTE OR ONLINE ROUTE? WHICH IS BETTER FOT OUR STORY? Also, my wife and I once applied for US visa 3 yrs ago before the birth of our child(We were refusef) and she applied for child birth visa term as medical (she was refused). Hearing Canada and America are sister country, I HOPE BEING REFUSED AN AMERICAN VISA WONT AFFECT OUR CHANCE OF GETTING THE CANADIAN VISA? Thank you and I look forward for your advice, God bless. 1 Like |

Hi all, please which of the visa officers is responsible for visiting visa applications made from Lagos, Nigeria. |

olu101:No harm in trying, give it your best shot. Be honest and sraightforward. Being denied a US visa doesn't automatically mean you'll be denied a Canadian visa, just show your strong ties to Naija and be honest. Seems the paper route currently has a faster processing time. |

Please i need an urgent response to this, please. I did an online application and hence submitted all required docs online, except for my bank statement which I had the opinion that it was going to be submitted by hand, hard copy on the day of biometrics. Just want to know if they'll accept it by hand or if there's another way of submitting it back online to include the already submitted application. I'll be going for the biometrics tomorrow, any answer asap pls. |

Enishit:Lol, he was last seen October 15th on Nairaland, I guess he is either recovering from the slaughter house or too ashamed to post again, asylum visa in 2018 for Nigerians is a big baloney, Citizens from countries like Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, South Sudan are screened thoroughly in the EU to qualify for asylum, Aduro / asylum don cast for Nigerians, the various refugee boards in Europe / North America don taya for Nigeria fake stories, is either via studies and be sponsored by a company for PR, or the federal skill workers program or look for iyawo and genuinely marry, anything outside that, you are on a long journey to the moon securing residency in Canada 1 Like |

emeify: Thanks for your response sir. But I've tried the web form, I uploaded, but upon submission always gives an error... THE REMOTE SERVER TURNED AN ERROR. 400 BAD REQUEST. I'm hoping it'll still go through upon retrial, but is there another way out? Or is it possible that the embassy gives anothr chance for document upload during the processing? I really hope there's a solution to this, or is there a direct contact that I can relay this issue to? I'll be going for the biometrics tomorrow morning. Thanks. |

My dear, Just wait for it to come, There is nothing like Conference visa, Maybe you mean Short stay/Visitor Visa, it is valid for 6months if it is single entry or till expiration of your passport, which still means you will leave Canada after 6 months to re-enter anyother time. Just relax and wait for the outcome, you should get your visa by Monday Morning. Miaanita: |
