Re: Mutual Funds by KayPapi: 1:23pm On Oct 19, 2018 |
ajeleomo: It appears that ARM's rate for this week is high, but don't know what %. Maybe cause I threatened to close my account lol, interest jumped from N470 TO N776, in matter of days. So I cancelled my liquidation process to enjoy the small profits. |

Re: Mutual Funds by elothaddi(m): 5:18pm On Oct 19, 2018 |
If you put the dates for the various figures in the daily report then it will be a clear a little bit. Also note that the differences between all these (20,127.42, 20,139.82, 20,152.38, 20,164.93, 20,177.48) are almost same, meaning same interest rate. ajeleomo: |

Etimocracy: One thing you must know is that these guys dont really compete, they operate like a cartel, one gains this month, the other next and so on, on an annual average, they are just the same, dont waste your time. 1 Like |

Good evening guys, Is it possible for one's interest to reduce in the StanbicIBTC mmf app. |
Re: Mutual Funds by AbbyE: 7:21pm On Oct 19, 2018 |
ajeleomo: Lmao ...if you claim you are earning N44 a day on your mutual fund, It means in 365 days, you'd get N16,060 . An annual interest rate of 80%. Does my calculator have a glitch or is this beans not done? |
Re: Mutual Funds by Apitch(m): 7:59pm On Oct 19, 2018 |
AbbyE:Your calculator is surely faulty, cos the earnings are averagely 12.4 or there about. Calculate again 1 Like |

AbbyE: He said his earnings for this week alone... He makes about 12 naira everyday which means he gets about 22%p.a. I'm tempted to move already. But the website shows 12.3xx% |
Re: Mutual Funds by Apitch(m): 8:11pm On Oct 19, 2018 |
Adayoung:After reading your question, I logged in to check mine and it surely was so confusing. Now I'm joining you to ask the experienced guys if interest reduces cos I don't understand these guys |
Re: Mutual Funds by Apitch(m): 8:14pm On Oct 19, 2018 |
Ifelove1:Still better that Stanbic that has not moved pass 11.54 since I subscribed. Can't wait for one month to elapse so I can get moving. |
Re: Mutual Funds by AbbyE: 8:23pm On Oct 19, 2018 |
Ifelove1: oh I see I did capital 20,127.42 for day 1 less capital of N20083.42. |
Re: Mutual Funds by kayrukky: 9:06pm On Oct 19, 2018 |
I don’t think it is high but it is reconcialiation. Some of your money were not calculated before. I notice this more in the first month after dividends payment. If you really want to confirm this better. Use the average rate for the month and calculate for the 19 days that have passed this month you will realize that the interest is not double. It appears that ARM's rate for this week is high, but don't know what %. Maybe cause I threatened to close my account lol, interest jumped from N470 TO N776, in matter of days. So I cancelled my liquidation process to enjoy the small profits. [/quote] |

ajeleomo: Thanks so much, I did check the website and I downloaded the form but I didn't see where to fill the duration of my investment. Also about the duration of investment, can I make it monthly, quarterly or yearly because I currently have one with GTBank which is for 6months with interest rate of 10% |

Apitch: I also notice the decrease but i guess the amount decreased is usually added to your principal and reinvested..... Just a guess though, wait for update from those with much experience shaa..... |

alezzy13: Understand what sir? Other MMF are still giving interest above 11% but for the parst two days Stanbic have even gone below 11% I got 10.56 and 10.98% pls tell me what i need to understand? |
Re: Mutual Funds by Yem0350: 4:01pm On Oct 20, 2018 |
Segunade10:There is no fixed rate and you can liquidate anytime you want |
Re: Mutual Funds by jujutom(m): 4:25pm On Oct 20, 2018 |
emmas2k570: Yes! You are very correct! Once in a week or in 8days Stanbic mmf removes part of your interest and adds it to your principal amount compounding the money.... This is reinvested giving you better profits Most MMF wait for 3months before doing this |
Re: Mutual Funds by iamdannyfc(m): 5:15pm On Oct 20, 2018 |

Re: Mutual Funds by mikeopara: 1:12am On Oct 22, 2018 |
Good Day All, I'm having this thought, I will appreciate if someone can throw more light on this. Aside from the profit which is paid on a daily basis, On the 16th,17th and 18th of this month, I got interests of 22k, 2k and 25k which was automatically reinvested to my capital without my available balance been increased . This I guess is standard for everyone who opted for their profit to be reinvested. However, what if my interest was paid to my bank account and I reinvested to MF on my own? My capital will be increased and so will my available balance. Please if the aforementioned is not inline, I would really appreciate further clarification. Thanks. |
